Should I have more gratification,

I didn't choose this,
Neither did you.
Why is gratification to be messeasured
By good fortune,
If I have more does that mean I should be grateful.
Why can't I be content,
Why can't I be gratified,
If I can't focus on the good,
I focus on the bad.
Life is beautiful,
No matter what,
Someone once said.
I wouldn't call life beautiful,
I would call it desire,
To live,
To breath,
To eat your favourite food.
But what if I don't want to live,
What if I don't have a reason to,
If I'm not even grateful to be alive,
Why so am I still so.
