LISA POV
"Ms. Manoban! Ms. Kim! This is garden 2, this is the one recommended the most so I hope you pick this lovebirds" The organizer smiles. I flinch at her last word and look at Jennie who has been quiet since we arrived. Today is the first day meeting up with organizer and were choosing the venue for their garden wedding
"We're no-" I hold Jennie's hand to stop her "We looooove all of them but can we buy some time to decide? We want to have the best garden wedding! Right Nini?" I smile
"Y-yes" Jennie answers and slightly smile
"Of course! I will wait at the lobby and I will be contacting the designers and suppliers" The organizer smiles then bows before leaving me alone with Jennie
I look at Jennie and raise my eyebrow "W-hat?" She asks
"As far as I know Kai should be here before his flight" I look at my wrist watch and scoff "Which is 4 hours away and yet-"
"Baby!" I clench my jaw when I heard the dog's voice
"I didn't know a dog can say "baby" already. I thought they only bark" I coldly stated and glare at Kai
"H-hey b-babe" Jennie nudges me that made me groan before she answers Kai
"I hope you stop that fucking habit Jongin! It's embarrassing Jennie!" I scold him and I was shaking in anger. No should do this to Jennie! No one!
"I'm sorry" He looks down
"Enough...Calm down Lili" Jennie whispers and rubs my arm before she clings to it "I'm picking this one" She coldly stated and drags me to meet the organizer
We both talk to the organizer about the arrangement and the designs like we're the ones getting married. I am actually happy that Kai can't go with Jennie because in short span of time? I am able to feel what's it like to plan a wedding with Jennie Kim
"Great choice!"
"Thank you and I trust you Ms. Sohn" Jennie smiles
"Don't worry Ms. Kim you can count on me and my team. I'll message you both for the remaining tasks you both need to do" The organizer smiles while writing on her notebook
"Thank you so much Ms. Sohn" Me and Jennie bows in gratitude
"JENNIE!"
I was about to face Kai and confront him when Jennie stops me "We'll get going Ms. Sohn, thank you" Jennie smiles and drags me out the venue
"JENNIE!"
I heard Kai's voice again but this girl beside me keeps on dragging me towards the parking lot. I didn't say anything and open the door for her before going to my seat.
I don't know where to bring her but I was planning to bring her to our secret place. The drive was quiet and I know what Jennie feels. Being with the organizer to plan for the wedding which should be done by her and Kai yet I'm the one with her? I know it hurts her which is why I stopped her from embarrassing herself infront of the organizer. I mean what would Ms. Sohn think right? A wedding should be planned by the couple. Ms. Sohn is an old and busy organizer and I guess she doesn't really remember all the names of her clients unless you introduce yourself
"Jennie" I hold her hand "You know that you can still back off right?"
"I'm not backing off..." She answers in a very very low tone. You really love him that much Jennie?
I sigh and shake off the pain "I know you're not feeling that good. What about we passby Hongdae and chill at our secret place?" I wiggle my eyebrows and focus back on the road. I can see on my peripheral vision that she's smiling now and I want to congratulate myself for that
"You're the best Lili!" Jennie kisses my cheeks again and again "I love you! Please don't you ever leave my side"
"That would be the last thing I would do Nini" I look at Jennie then smile before changing my route
We arrived at Hongdae and we bought a lot of foods. We didn't stay long because it's crowded and Jennie hates crowded places. Kai doesn't know that and I pity him for not knowing my Nini very well
"Are you comfy?" I fix the pillow and sit beside Jennie as we both watch the sunset
"You don't need to ask because I'm always comfortable whenever I'm with you" Jennie smiles and lay her head on my lap. I chuckle and comb her hair
"What did you find in Kai?" I suddenly blurted out and I know I'm obvious again but not in Jennie's eyes maybe...
"Huh?" Jennie turns her head to look at me
"I said what did you find in Kai? I mean-"
"Well~ He's handsome, kind, caring, hardworking" Jennie smiles slightly "But he sometimes forget about me" Jennie whispers and the atmosphere is getting sadder
"Yah! Cheer up mandu or else I'll kiss you" I scare her but she just giggle and kiss the part near my lips
"You were my first kiss, so what's the problem? Anyways I know you don't want me to be sad and I'm thanking you Lili" Jennie smiles "What about you?" She asks
"Huh?" I look at Jennie and she just giggle and shake her head
"You! Everyone falls inlove and I want too know why you love that person"
"Alright! I fell inlove but I have no reason why I love her. I just love who she is and that's all" I shrug and lay down on the blanket then close my eyes
"That girl must be lucky huh?" Jennie climbs on top and lay on my chest
"You're more lucky" I whisper
"Manoban!" Jennie slaps my shoulder that made me quickly open my eyes and look at her confusedly "N-nothing" Jennie smiles nervously and hug me
"Come on tell me~"
"Ummm....Why do you like sunsets? I mean you always love seeing it since then"
"Well...Sunsets holds a deep meaning for me" I started, Jennie sits up on my stomach the raise her eyebrow, waiting for me to continue
"For me...Sunsets shows proofs that no matter what happens every day, good or bad, sad or happy it always end beautifully" I stare at Jennie with full of love
"Then you are my sunset" Jennie smiles and kiss my cheeks "Because you always make my day end beautiful"
"What are you talking about? Shouldn't it be Kai?" I laugh with pain but I'm glad that it's not obvious. I've been practicing that for 5 years now
"Can't I decide who would be my sunset is?" Jennie then buries her face on my neck "Sometimes I want Kai to have your traits but what can I do? Every person is different and I can't force a person to be the person I want him to be"
"You're right Nini" I let out a sigh and rub her back "If we can't force the person who we want them to be...We also can't force a person to love us"
"Are talking about that girl?" She asks and I nod as an answer "Why won't you confess?"
"Because she's engaged Nini" I close my eyes so my tears won't fall
"Hey~" I feel Jennie shift on top of me and I know she's looking "Don't worry there is someone better who will notice your beautiful heart and besides I'm also here"
"Thank you Nini" I grab her for a hug "I don't know what my life would be without you"
