She lay there as it happened. She had been violated in a way she never thought would happen to her again. When it was over she got up off the floor and made her way home, she didn't care about the bruise she had on her face or the fact that she had ripped her top. When she got home she heard her mum calling her "Chloe, what's happened?" Chloe sighed "I got into a fight, no biggie" Rachel frowned "that bruise looks painful" Chloe shook her head "its not" if she was being honest she didn't feel anything other than dirty and all she wanted was to have a shower and fall asleep.
The next moring came and Chloe felt like breaking, she felt disgusted with herself for allowing it happen "Chloe come on" Chloe looked at the bruise she had on her stomach and Rachel walked in "oh my god Chloe" Chloe buttoned up her shirt "is that from the fight?" Chloe nodded "yeah" Rachel sighed "come on, Aubree is ready and waiting" at the mention of her baby girl Chloe's eyes welled up "Chloe, what's wrong?" Chloe shook her head "nothing".
Arriving at school Chloe took Aubree to the creche and went to sit in the common room she didn't want to be around anyone, she wanted to be alone. When the bell rang Chloe made her way to registration. While in registration Chloe sat in her usual place at the back and stared out the window not paying attention to anything "Chloe, are you listening?" Chloe wasn't listening so Tom placed his hand on her shoulder she flinched which made Charlotte frown, Chloe was never normally like that and Tom noticed "Chloe is everything alright?" Chloe nodded even though the tears were evident in her eyes "you sure?" Chloe nodded "I'm fine sir" Tom smiled even though he wasn't convinced.
After registration was PSHE but to Charlotte Chloe seemed miles away and she knew there was something wrong with her "Chloe, before we get to lesson is there anything wrong?" Chloe sighed "no I'm fine" Charlotte hugged Chloe "I'm here for you" Chloe smiled although she was breaking.
Max stood in the classroom watching everyone walk in and frowned when he saw Chloe looking pale and not wearing any make-up "take a seat" Chloe sat with Charlotte and Max started the lesson. Halfway through Chloe hated the subject that they were talking about 'Rape And How It Affects People'. She grabbed her bag and walked out the lesson "sir shall I go after her?" Max nodded and Charlotte took off after Chloe.
Chloe made her way to the toilets and broke down crying, she hated herself. Charlotte walked in and saw Chloe sitting on the floor crying "Chloe, what's happened?" Chloe looked up at Charlotte "I can't say" Charlotte joined her on the floor "yeah you can, you're safe here" Chloe was crying again so Charlotte held her "look you can tell me anything and I won't judge, I promise" Chloe looked at her "last night, I was ra-raped" Charlotte paled just as the bell went so Charlotte closed the toilet door and locked it and she sat back with Chloe "do you know who it was?" Chloe shook her head "no, he came from nowhere and it just happened" Charlotte sighed "does your mum know?" Chloe paled "no, you can't tell her, please" Charlotte held Chloe again "she needs to know" Chloe shook her head "she'll hate me, Max will hate me, they'll take Aubree away" Charlotte felt her heart break "no they won't, your mum loves you, Max clearly loves you" Chloe was crying again "it was my fault, I'm a slag" "no you're not, don't ever say that".
Max went back to the office and saw Rachel there but he was too busy thinking about why Chloe walked from his lesson "Max is everything alright?" Max nodded "everything is fine Rachel" Rachel smiled "good".
The bell rang but Charlotte and Chloe were still in the toilets "you need to tell someone so they can catch the scumbag that did this" Chloe shook her head "I can't, I don't want anyone knowing" Charlotte sighed "Chloe the person can't get away with this" Chloe rolled her eyes "he can if I don't say anything".
*3 Days Later*
Chloe still hadn't told anyone that she had been raped and the only person that knew was Charlotte. The bruise on her face was getting worse but she didn't care "Chloe come on love" Chloe looked at her mum "is Aubree ready?" Rachel frowned "she stayed with Max last night" "oh right" Rachel knew there was something not right with Chloe and she was determined to find out.
When they got to school Chloe made her way to the common room. She had been sitting there for about 10 minutes when the door opened and someone put their hand on her which caused her to flinch she frowned when Max sat opposite her "why sneak up on me like that?" Max frowned and he saw the bruise "what happened there?" Chloe shook her head "it doesn't matter" Max sighed "if someone's hurt you then tell me" Chloe rolled her eyes "I'm fine". The bell rang for registration so Chloe got her stuff and left the common room and went to registration. Charlotte noticed Chloe had been distancing herself away from everyone and she knew Max had been starting to worry about her "Chloe I'm starting to worry about you now" Chloe rolled her eyes "I'm fine" "no you're not" Chloe sighed "I promise, I'm fine okay" Charlotte nodded although she wasn't convinced.
Once registration was over Chloe left the classroom without waiting for anyone, Charlotte knew Chloe couldt go on like this, shutting everyone out and not telling anyone what had happened to her. Charlotte saw Chloe sitting outside on the steps so went to talk to her "Chloe" Chloe looked at Charlotte and smiled "hiya" Charlotte sat down by her "you can't go on like this" Chloe felt tears sting her eyes "I don't wanna tell noOne, I don't want to feel the pity of people" Charlotte held Chloe "noOne has to know apart from your mum, me and the police" Chloe was crying again and Eddie saw "Chloe is everything alright?" Chloe paled even more "er Eddie, its woman problems" Eddie nodded and walked off "thanks" Charlotte smiled "see, noOne has too know" Chloe shook her head "I can't".
Chloe went to the common room and Charlotte went to the office, she knew Chloe would be upset but she couldn't let this go on anymore. When she got to the office she saw that Max and Rachel were there "can I talk too you?" Rachel looked up "Charlotte, is everything alright?" Charlotte shook her head "not really" Rachel frowned "what's happened?" Charlotte took a deep breath "Chloe's been attacked" Rachel paled "attacked?" Charlotte nodded "she was raped" Rachel couldn't believe it and Max was shocked "where is she?" "Common room" Max nodded "I'll go fetch her".
Chloe sat in the common room again and she had Chlo with her, she didn't know how long she had been sitting there when Max walked in "Chloe, follow me" Chloe stood and made her way outside "what's this about?" Max looked at her "I know what happened" Chloe paled "Charlotte told you?" Max nodded "you should have told someone" Chloe scoffed "no, I didn't want people treating me different, I deserved it, I'm a slag" Max got angry "don't ever call yourself that" Chloe rolled her eyes "its true, I jumped into bed with you because you said you wanted me" Chloe went to walk off when Max grabbed her wrist "ow" Max frowned and lifted her cardigan sleeve up and saw the bruises "did he do this?" Chloe nodded "yeah".
Max and Chloe went back to the office where Chloe saw her mum and Kim "why is Miss.Campbell here?" Rachel sadly smiled "she needs to be" Chloe rolled her eyes "no I don't want anyone here" Rachel sighed "Chloe has to be here" Chloe felt the tears come again "no, I don't anyone else to hear what happened" Rachel looked at her daughter "you should have told me Chloe" Chloe was crying "what? And have everyone feel sorry for me? You would have all hated me and let you take Aubree from me" Rachel frowned "Chloe, noOne would take her from you" Chloe looked at mum "I didn't tell noOne because the way you're all looking at me, like I'm going to break, well guess what? I'm broke and I can't be fixed".
Chloe left the office after being spoken to by the police "Chloe I'm sorry" Chloe turned to Charlotte "that was horrible, having to repeat everything that he did" Charlotte sighed "I couldn't let this carry on, I saw you breaking and I hated that, you're my best friend and like my sister" Chloe was crying again she hated crying "I did it for you, they're gonna get the loser that did it" Chloe nodded.
Rachel took Chloe home and gave her a hot water bottle "look Chloe, you know you can talk to me about anything" Chloe smiled "I know" Rachel hugged her "no matter what, I'm always here fo you" Chloe looked at Aubree who was asleep on the sofa and she dozed off with her mum sitting by her. When she woke she saw Charlotte sitting with Aubree "how long you been here?" Charlotte smiled "not long. Eddie and your mum are making cottage pie" Chloe nodded and sat up "mama" Chloe smiled "hi baby" Aubree got off the sofa and walked over to Chloe "up" Chloe puck her up and held her close "Chloe are you awake?" Chloe nodded "dinner will be done soon" Chloe smiled.
After dinner Eddie and Charlotte left so Chloe got Aubree to sleep and when she was she went for a shower "alright?" Chloe nodded "tired" Rachel smiled "go have an early night, I'll keep an eye on Aubree tonight?" Chloe smiled "you sure?" Rachel nodded "go on love" Chloe hugged her mum and went to bed.
