It had been 4 years of Harry and I trying to have a baby but it just hasn't happened. We tried absolutely everything - nothing worked.
We were currently laying in bed in silence, staring at the ceiling. Harry had wanted his own kid for so long and I couldn't even give him that. He wouldn't want to stay with me if I told him that I wasn't fertile. I looked over to see him crying silently.
"H-Harry..." I whispered turning my head to face him. He continued to just stare blankly at the wall.
"I'm sorry that I can't give you a baby. Doctors say I'm not fertile. I kind of understand if you want to move on, I know how much you wanted a child." I choked out. It hurt to say that but I didn't want to continue making him so unhappy; it wasn't fair on him.
We remained in silence and I soon realised that maybe this was a sign that he did want to move on. I turned my back to him and shut my eyes.
"It's okay. There's other options. I want to stay with you, no one else. I'm not going to just throw away 5 years of marriage. We can find another way." He finally responded. I turned back around to face him.
"I love you." He whispered, stroking my cheek. I closed my eyes and leaned my head on his chest when he placed an arm around my waist.
"I love you too."
