Some days life gets so hard
It makes you feel frizzled out and chard
It keeps you in bars
And hope seems so far
Those sticks and stones keep me
Fracture, beaten, bruised and broken
Skin aching, from the knives that pierce me everyday
And those words are the worst of all
They continue to cut me, slash me, and rip me apart
The bleeding continues
Until a callus forms
Harding over all thoses bruises and sores,
The bleeding and bruising will be no more
Your words will fall death apond my ears
Your stones will crumble before me
And you sticks will snap and break
I will no longer let you throw sticks and stones.
I will not let you break my bones
And no longer will you hurt me
My fire continues and the bars have fallen
