Today Amelia sat in the great hall with her slytherin friends, everyone telling about their plans for the ball and Amelia felt like an idiot. Draco asked some beauxbatons girl out, pansy was mad so she accepted a guy from drumstrangs, Blaise was suddenly smart enough to ask Daphne out, she couldnt have been happier.
While quitely eating and listening to their plans, Amelia's eyes darted to the hufflepuff table where a certain brown haired boy, who also happen to be her boyfriend just joined. He was laughing with his friends making Amelia feel more and more pissed. She clenched her fists on the table glaring im his direction.
"I'll be right back guys" Amelia said in a low dangerous tone and went towards the hufflepuff table.
She exhaled exasperatedly and tapped on her boyfriend's shoulder. He turned around with a smile as if already knew it was her.
"Can i sit too?" Amelia asked with a slight smile. Cedric nodded and shifted a bit to make room for her beside him. Amelia smiled and sat beside him.
"So Ernie have you asked out Claire out?" Amelia asked to the boy across her. Claire had been his girlfriend since last year.
"Whats there to ask, she is my girlfriend obviously she will go with me" Ernie said as if it was the most obvious think.
Amelia hummed. So this is the hufflepuff idealogy. The whole damn school is busy asking people out and they dont even feel the need of doing that.
"You say your shopping done?" Ernie asked. Shopping for what? To go alone?
"Yep" Amelia lied shortly and looked away trying to avoid further conversation. She sat there for fifteen minutes and her lovely boyfriend didnt even utter a word to her.
"Cedric I think Draco is calling me" Amelia said bringing his attention towards her.
"Okay, bbye" Cedric said with a smile and turned back to talking to his friends. Amelia stared at him in disbelief befote huffing angrily and leaving.
"Amelia what color would rather suit me blue or green?" Pansy asked as Amelia sat down across her beside Draco.
"I honestly dont know Pansy" Amelia said a bit irritated.
"Hey Amelia" Ivan's voice rang from the other side.
"Hi Ivan" Amelia forced a smile.
"What happened trouble in paradise?" He asked smirking. Never in her life Amelia had felt to chop someone's mouth of like she felt today.
"How about you concentrate on not to embarrass yourself and Fleur at the ball?" Amelia mocked innocently. She saw Ivan taking extra dance lessons, he sucked at dancing. He made a face as if Amelia shaved his head and turned back to his friend.
"Why so pissed?" Draco asked snickering.
"Just don't ask" Amelia grumpled laying her head on his shoulder.
"If you want i can get you some good boys" Draco offered, Amelia wanted to snort, he said it af if he boys are sold in market.
"Thats very sweet of you, but i would like to see what my boy has going in his mind" Amelia said.

While sitting in the gryffindor common room, a first year boy approached Amelia and handed her a note which said:
The place where you told me you love breaking teeth
Amelia snorted on how idiotic details her boyfriend remembers about her. The boy who gave her the note left with a weird look. Amelia shook her head smiling and packing her stuff she left for the place as described by her boyfriend.
She reached to the black lake, and already was amazed to see what wonders had been done over here. The fews trees which wete around the place had lights on them, and a fluffy blanket laying right in front of the lake. She laughed on how beautiful everything looked.
In an instant she felt two big arms lift her from the ground from behind. She shrieked clutching to the person and then playfully glared.
"Cedric what are you doing!?" She exclaimed happily.
"Just what i should do" He said smiling carrying her in front in bridal style.
"You are not going to throw me in the black lake are you?" She asked playfully. He laughed as he swinged her a bit playfully making her shriek and clutch to him tightly.
"I will break you teeth" Amelia squealed still laughing.
Cedric laughed and sat her down on the blanket which was sprawled on the floor. He sat in front of her. Amelia smiled sitting cross legged facing him.
"Say something" She said her face crooked in a happy smile.
"Will you go to the ball with me?" He asked smiling looking into her eyes.
"I thought you'd never ask" She said in small shy voice.
"But i knew you wanted to be asked" he whispered back putting the fallen strand of her hair behind her ear. Amelia blushed looking down.
"So.. are these pinkish cheeks a yes?" He asked playfully poking her cheeks.
"How about i answer some other way?" She whispered looking up. He raised an eyebrow before Amelia pushed him to lay on his back and she reached beside him gently above his chest. He wrapped his arms around her waist looking up at her.
"You are not the only one creative here" She said before leaning in to attached their lips. She could feel him smiled against her lips. Pulling away slowly slightly breathless she looked back in his eyes.
"So is it a yes then?" He asked blushing.
"What else do you think?" Amelia questioned back playfully. He grinned amused before rolling them over amd hovering her.
"I think you didnt make it clear" He said cheekily. Amelia laughed at his cuteness. Both layed there holding hands talking laughing enjoying tine with each other.
After spending an hour or two Amelia got up telling him she has many stressful thing going in her life right now, first being all the detentions she earned and then next and most impirtant what she will wear at the ball.
After finishing all her detentions Amelia went back to her dorm to have a nap but upon entering her dorm she saw a large box with a letter on her bed. She picked it up confused to and unwrapped the box to see the most beautiful dress she has ever seen. She gawked at the dress and saw there were some other accessories too in the box. She picked up the note which was with the dress.
Dear Amelia,
This is your mother, Sierra's dress and other things too. Sirius and I managed to bring them from your old house.
I hope you will like it. Also there is picture in the back.

Amelia's mouth parted in disbelief, she picked up the picture which Remus mentioned about to see her parent dressed up royally. Her mother wore the same dress. She chuckled how young her father looked and both of them so in love with each other.
The problem of dress was also solved, all thanks to remus. Now Amelia just waited for the day of the ball to arrive.

Today was christmas eve, the ball night, the day everyone waited for so eagerly. The girls of the whole school were already locked in their dorms readying for the ball.
In Amelia's dorm it was just her and Hermione. The other twos went to god knows where. Amelia and Hermione decided they will help each other with readying, Amelia was very grateful for that.
"Just make sure i look like this" Amelia said showing hermione the picture of her mother in the dress.
"I will try my best" Hermione said smiling.
Both the girls wore their dresses and sat in front of the mirror doing each others hair and make up one by one. After having invested three whole hours they got ready.
"You look good" Hermione said smiling.
"You look good too" Amelia smiled back.
"Shall we?" Hermione asked. Amelia nodded and both the girls left their dorm descending down and going outside the gryffindor common room.
As they both stepped outside several heads turned towards them. But Amelia's eyes searched for one head in particular.
She didnt quite notice Harry and Fred froze on their spots when saw her. Both felt a tight knot in their chests. Amelia breathed heavily as she spotted her date.
Cedric stepped out from the crowd and approached her dressed all gentlemanly. His eyes captured every detail of how extraordinarily beautiful she looked tonight. Amelia felt her cheeks flare up on his fondly gaze.
"Hello" Cedric said in a whisper and held out his hand for her, slightly blushing she gave her hand in his which he brought to his lips, kissing the back of her hand gently.
"You look gorgeous" He whispered leaning in her ear, Amelia shrank with shyness and blushing.
"You look quite handsome as well" she whispered back looking up in his eyes.
"May I?" He asked gesturing towards the great hall.
"You may" Amelia said smiling holding his hand. The whole corridor turned to stare at them, both looked just perfect for each other. Amelia had butterflies in her eyes, feeling esctatic, everything felt so surreal.
The decoration, the melodic music coming from the great hall, them walking in the centre of the corridor with everyone's eyed on them. She was feeling epic.
Mcgonnacal appeared out of nowhere, gathering all the champions and their dates, telling them about they will be opening the first dance of the evening. Fleur with Ivan, Hermione with victor, Amelia with Cedric and Harry with Parvati formed a line and entered the great hall royally. Amelia passed Draco a smile as she spotted him.
Severus' eyes landed on his niece and his breath hitched, she looked exactly like her, he let out a shuddered breath, today she reminded him of exactly his sister.
"Sierra.." A whispery voice left his throat as he stared at his niece in disbelief. The memories of that ball night at hogwarts from his times came flooding back in his mind, Sierra dressed same as Amelia, and a boy with royal attire beside her. He felt the same scene was playing again in front of his eyes.
Dumbledore stepped forward with raising a toast.
"Ladies and gentlemen let's start with the wonderful evening!"
