(Shraman were to their way to school. On reaching entrance)
Sumo: Shravan tu 5 min baad aana. Kisi ne hme saath dekh lia to mushkil ho jaegi.
(Shravan frowned but later agreed.)
(He didn't find it friendly that Sumo didn't speak to him in school. He thought that he will suddenly go to her and ask her to introduce him as her friend in front of her friends. But later he dropped the idea.)
(In afternoon, they got the news of prom party at that night and he asked Sumo to be his partner which he agreed.)
(In the evening, when Shravan was waiting for her, she came looking gorgeous. But, besides her, a partner other than Shravan.)
(Inside the hall)
Shravan: Sumo! Tum to mere saath aane wali thi na?
Sumo: Ha yaar! Pr phir Rahul ne mujhse pucha to m manaa nhi kr pai.
Shravan: Pr mujhe to kia na manaa (his voice a lil loud)
(Everyone looked at them.)
Sumo: Shravan dheere bol.
Shravan: Kyu? M kyu? Taki tumhare dosto ko pta na chl jae ki tum meri dost ho?
(Everyone looked shockingly at Sumo)
Sumo: Shravan aaram se baat kr.
Shravan: Nhi! Mujhe jaanna h ki kyu tumne esa kia. Mujhe kaha tumhare saath aaungi aur phir aa gyi Rahul ke saath?
Sumo: To kya glt kia mene. Ha? Apni shakal dekh. Chashmish, padhaku! Tere saath aake m apni image bigaadna nhi chahti thi.
(Shravan was shocked would be an understatement. Moreover, he was broken.)
Shravan: Jb mujhse apna kaam krwaya tb? Homework? Exam tk to mere bharose paas kia. Ab use and throw?
(Sumo stood silent.)
Shravan: Mere sahare iss class tk pahochi ho. Usi naate introduce krlo.
Sumo: Nhi kr skti tujhe introduce. Meri bhi ek reputation h. Nhi h tu school me mera dost. Smjha?
(Shravan was devastated. he ran out of the hall broken and decided to move London to study further as his dad was insisting.)

(Sumo before leaving house.)
Sumo (in mind): Wo tera boss h Sumo. Tu guilty thi pr use nhi dikha wo. Usne jo kuch uss din kaha uske baad to uska chehra bhi nhi dekhna chahti. Pr karz chukane ke liye ye krna hoga. Kaash Pushkar kuch help kr pata. Itne sb me to use btane ka mauka hi nhi mila. Baad me dekhti h.
(Everyone reached the venue. All were having a nice time. Shravan was thinking not to think about her but her admiration was being the talk of the party. He was exhausted but couldn't do anything as Eric insisted to stay. All decided to play Truth and Dare. After Eric, Ria, and 2 more colleagues' turn, it was Shravan's turn. He wasn't interested but everyone forced him so he took Dare.)
Eric: Hey! Do something new!
Ria: Sir what about shayari?
Shravan: What? No! No!
Rishi: Please sir please.
(After few moments)

(Very few out of them could understand hindi and liked the framing of words so they appreciated him. At a corner, Sumo listening all this could make out all was for her. She was fuming but remained quiet. He kept glaring at her. Now was Sumo's chance. She chose dare.)
Ria: Hey Suman! You too say a shayari.
Eric: Ohh ya! It would be a merry competition.
Sumo: But how can I...
Shravan: Ohh stop guys! Everyone can't say it.
(Sumo had now to do something coz it had reached to her self respect.)

(Everyone praised her. Shravan was fuming. He had to admit once that she spoke better but being Shravan Malhotra, he couldn't lose easily. He wanted to give her an answer. Suddenly, it started to rain heavily. Everyone ran inside the restaurant for a shelter. But they both were standing rooted. Shared a long eyelock. Both were getting drenched but they knew this was the time to speak their heart out. Shravan stated in response.)
Shravan: Hum bhi to sune esa koun tha, jisse milne ki thi khwaish,🤨
Unhi hothon se kehdo, jo filhaal h larzish (glancing at her lips)🙊
(Both knew that they might not speak an applauding shayari, but they knew it was the only means by which they could speak their heart out.)

(He remembered the girl in the hospital who spoke after one week that too with Suman.)
Sumo: 3 saal pehle uss Reena ki m thi jagah,🤧
Tbse dard aur khauf ne, leli mujhme panaah😟
(He stopped thinking anything when he listened to what she just said. He turned around. He could see the pain and fear in her teary eyes. He walked towards her.)
Sumo: Rehm khaya bhagwan ne, ki uska kaam nhi hua safal,🙏
Sb kuch bhulakar bdi ganeemat se, aage gyi m chl.🤞
(He wanted to shush her the moment she was telling her pain. He wanted to console her but couldn't. He remembered how she told him about her being in depression. He wanted to punch that guy hard who did this to her. He could see the truth in her eyes but he neglected his thoughts. She couldn't control and so she ran inside sniffing, sobbing, crying while he was still rooted there, recollecting all she said some moments ago.)
(He couldn't reach to a conclusion about all the sufferings she mentioned and so he thought he would have to talk to Pushkar about it. He left the place determined to get the truth out.)
