Even when we think that it's the end of a story

And that there is nothing after that which will entertain us

Even when we think there are no more lessons to be learned

And that every good thing that passed in our lives is long and dead now

There is always something to discover

Something that lightens up the path for us

Something that inspires us in the midst of our boring lives

Where absolutely nothing of consequence ever happens

And these things find their way to us

They come in the shapes of people, animals, spirits and even words

Through the means of sun and moon and stars

Our guardian angels guiding us on our path

Even when we have given up

Or we believe that we are fine

These are the times that the universe magically bestows upon us an awakening

Something new lightens up the night sky

Obliterating through all past knowledge and self-doubt

Through to the inner discovery of myself
