"Symir where are you?" Taymari asked Symir over the phone
Today was her checkup and she officially made 5 months. This was the second time he was late to a appointment but it was looking as if he wasn't gonna show at all.
"I'm in traffic..wassup Tay?" He asked. As far as he knew boogie was just bothering him as usual, he had stuff to handle at the trap so he didn't have time for her calls
She scoffed shaking her head "So you really forg— you know what? Fuck you. Me and my baby gon' be good regardless." She spat before hanging up the phone
"He forgot again?" A 7 month pregnant Zy asked while entering Taymari's room at her dad's house
Zyheir came over to fix some breakfast for her best friend knowing how stressed and depressed Taymari's been since the whole fighting situation went down, almost 2 months ago
Taymari sighed and tried to wipe away the tears she didn't even realize fell "Nope. I don't wanna go through this pregnancy alone, Zy. He said he was gonna be home more now it's worse" she vented
"Aww, baby it's gonna be okay. You always gon' have me, this both of our first pregnancy we'll work figure this out together boogs" Zyheir reassured.
She couldn't believe how Symir was acting but regardless she was gonna be there for her bestfriend no matter what.
Taymari only nodded, she felt so alone. She couldn't call Trey because he was still mad at all of his sisters, Bri still has been yet to be seen or heard from. Moonie was still not talking to them either and Missy was just always busy nowadays.
"Let's go check on my gbaby" Zy smiled hoping to make Taymari feel better and think about the baby

"Hi, my favorite patient!" Dr.Evans squealed coming in to hug Taymari
She smiled "Hey Ms.E, how are you?"
"Oh I'm fine baby, how are YOU and my love bug?" Dr.Evans referred to the baby with a bright smile
Over the past few months the two have grown a strong friendship, Dr.Evans 'Ms.E' see's Taymari as a young girl in need of a motherly figure in her life. And she tries to help every which way she can
"We're good. This is my best friend Zyheir" Taymari said quickly changing the topic, she knew ms.e would get on her about her stress and she didn't need another lecture
"Well hello there, best friend Zyheir. Where's daddy today?" She asked knowingly
"Um..well he c-couldn't make it" Taymari said with a sad smile feeling her nose start to burn
"Taymari..The truth please" Dr.E said
"That is th- He forgot doc, and he's been stressing her out, I don't want anything to happen to my gbaby but she won't listen" Zyheir cut Taymari off
Zy felt like it was her responsibility some how, nobody was really there for Tay in her opinion and she wasn't about to sit around and settle for it.
"Now Taymari..What did I tell you about that, your stress levels are way too high you have to relax hunny. Let's get on with this check up hm?" Dr evens said clearly disappointed

Taymari checked her phone since it was powered off while they were at the hospital.

Taymari sighed and turned it off once again. She was tired of this repeated cycle with everybody, if she had to do this alone she absolutely would. It was all becoming too much to handle and she wasn't about to risk her child life let alone her sanity.
"Boogs, I'm telling you this because I love you. You don't need his ass okay. Me and Ace can take care of you and gbaby till you get on stable" Zyheir begged
"And I love you and Ace both for that but You know I can't do that, I'll be okay I promise" Taymari waved her off
"Look, I'm tired I'm gonna go inside. I love you the most" She continued while reaching over to hug Zyheir as she looked at her bestfriend clearly in pain and who desperately needed help
"I love you both! Please call me later on tonight, or I can come over? I'll coo—"
"Go home Zy, dang" Taymari said slightly laughing at her best friend. She loved that she at least had Zy who was just as pregnant as she was.
Taymari walked into the house and just did her regularly schedule. Eat, watch criminal minds and cry herself to sleep.
5:35 pm
I knocked on the door 3 times waiting for Teagan to open up. I dropped Milan off early this morning and was now picking her up.
"Wassup ma" I said as she opened the door but she didn't say anything just kept walking
I saw Milan run downstairs to me "Hey daddy!" She yelled while hugging me while I lifted her up
"Wassup princess" I smiled
"Symir, let me holler at you right quick" Teagan called from the living room. I walked in with Milan on my hip
"Wassup?" I asked confused by the mean mug and clearly annoyed look she had on her face
"What's going on with you? Milan's over here more than she's with you. You missing appointments and shit, what's going on?" She asked
"What appointment I missed? And I do have my daughter, fuck you talkin' bout?" I scrunched my face up
"Boogie had a appointment today! They were supposed to clear her from bed rest but her stress level went up more! You got that girl pregnant and you not even there for her Symir!" She yelled
That's when I realized what she was talking about on the phone. I was so caught up at the warehouse that I forgot about it, lately we've been fighting because she swears I'm still not there but I got other shit to make sure straight.
"Damn..I'm finna call her but tea, she trippin'. I been out hea' working not on no rippin' and runnin'." I tried to explain
"Symir I'm not tryna hear that bullshit and neither is boogs, that girl hurting. She feel alone, I didn't teach you to be on no shit like this. You deadwrong and you know it." She spat
"Bruh aight, ima talk to her" with that I left and me and Milan got in the car making our way to the store

"Daddy?" Milan asked from the backseat
I looked in the rear view mirror and saw her playing with her fingers, letting me know she was nervous.
"Yeah baby?" I asked
"Is boogie still my mommy? I didn't mean to say I hate her because I don't...I was just mad but I don't want her to be mad at me nomo'." She expressed
"Yeah she still yo' momma but Milan you really hurt her feelings but she's not mad at you. We goin' to see her after we leave hea'."
"But she called junior stink.. she only call me that so I think she don't like me nomore"
I laughed a little "Girl you so damn spoiled, that's just a nickname"
"But look, mommy going through some right now and you wanna make sure her and the baby safe right?" I asked
"Yeah..I love my lil brother now"
I cheesed because we had another person on team boy.
"That's good mama, so now it's on us to make sure they aight. We can't be stressin' them out or nothing okay?" I asked and she nodded
"I gotchu' da' now can we go see her now?" She asked impatiently
"Yeah?" I asked stale facing Symir who stood on my doorstep
"Damn, we can't come in?" He asked I looked down and saw Milan shyly smiling at me. I opened the door more and let them come in
"Hi momma" Milan said and I smiled warm-hearted
I reached down to hug her and gave her a small kiss on her cheek "Hi stink"
"I just wanna tell you I want the baby now, I'm not mad nomore. He just gotta listen to me" Milan said as we sat on the couch
Me and Symir both laughed "Oh you team boy too? But You're their big sister, so he will listen to you."
"Milan go to the den right quick, let me talk to yo' momma" Symir said and she agreed
"Love you mommy!" She yelled
"I love you more!" I matched her energy
I sighed and rubbed over my small bump protectively, mentally preparing myself for whatever Symir was about to say.
"I'm sorry phat." He broke the silence
"I been trippin' lately and I'm sorry. You know I'll never purposely do you wrong. I'm just close to finding dude and I just got caught up. Imma change mama I swear' I am" he spoke looking in my eyes
"Symir, this is a repeated cycle. You've said the exact same thing to me for how long now? I'm tired okay.. I don't have nobody and I'm tired of waiting for y'all to come around." I vented honestly fed up with everybody
"I'm doing this shit for y'all, Taymari. I'm out hea' making money 24/7 or looking for that nigga. If Ian doin' that I'm wit' y'all." He mugged
"See that's your problem, because I'm not even talking bout no fucking money Symir! You know I don't care about that shit! I need you and you aren't here. The most you do is spend a few hours, you missed a whole appointment." I raised my voice
"I'm doing the best I can bruh" he said simply
"You not doing shit! That's what I'm tryna get you to understand, if you don't wanna be in my child's life I'm fine with that because you not ready keep stressing us out." I lowered my voice trying not to get into a fit
I saw his face turn sour and if looks could kill I definitely would've been croaked over "Fuck you mean if ion wanna be in my baby life? Taymari I'll kill you if you ever try to keep my baby away from me" he spat seriously
I tried my best to look unfazed but I was definitely feeling a lot of things. I definitely believe it's the hormones because I was turned on by how threatening he was but at the same time I believed his words.
"Whatever Symir, see yo' self out. I'm going to bed" I rolled my eyes attempting to walk away only for him to grab my arm
He kissed my lips softly "I love you Tay. I swea' ima do betta'."
"I love you too." I said simply not trying to get my hopes up
"See that's why I got a brother on the way now. Doing allat nasty stuff, ew" Milan said peeking around the corner
"Mane I swea' you irritating" Symir laughed
"So ma' you coming home wit' us? Or I'm staying wit' you?" She asked
I honestly wanted to be away from Symir because I didn't want him to think everything was cool. Because it definitely wasn't
"I'm staying here stink, you can stay if you want" I said smiling
"So fuck me huh?" Symir mugged us
"Daddy..please like go do some with yourself. Anyways okay come on momma" Milan said and I laughed as we both made our way to my room.
