"Madi dont you have rehearsals today" my mom asked walking into my room "you cant stay home and not do this. Youve always wanted to act in some big movie dont lose you chance"
I sat up and looked at her "mom Cody showed up on set yesterday he made me look weak I dont wanna go"
She sat at the foot of my bed "you are strong. You've never let something like this bother you. and i never new cody to be rude to you" she stood up "but sweetie think about this you want this and you know it let me know if you decide to go" she then left my room.
i grabbed my phone seeing i have a text from omar

I groaned as i got out of bed. i went into my bathroom and pulled my hair into a messy bun. i brushed my teeth and changed into clean clothes.
"mom ill go but i want you to know i plan on breaking up with cody i know you liked him and all but it just doesn't feel right" i said walking into the living room
"thats ok sweetie i want you to be happy i dont need to be happy with who youre with" she said getting up from the couch.
i grabbed my script from the table along with a water bottle from the fridge then we finally left.
"just have fun madi don't worry about anything else" my mom said as i got out of the car
when i walked through the entrance i noticed omar was waiting for me "kinda thought you werent going to show up" he said walking beside me
"well i didnt want to but i realized this is what i want to do so i shouldnt give up because one mishap" i said looking over at him "plus i like hanging out with everyone on set"
"mainly me" omar said in a joking manner "on a good note you wont be yelled at today even if it is acting"
"so what are we going over today" i asked looking at everything the was set up in front of us
"i dont even know that yet"
we both met with the others "dose anyone know what we are doing today" someone asked
"we will start hooting scenes today youve had all week to memorize your lines" a lady said walking up to us "lets start with the argument between Vivian and Oscar. remember facial expressions
"sorry good luck madi youll do great i know it" omar said
i was pulled away from him and taken to my dressing room where they set out my costume "after you get dress we will have someone come in to do your makeup" a member of crew said walking back out of my room.
i had a huge adrenaline rush after finishing the second scene for today "i feel like i can run a fucking marathon and not get tired this feeling is amazing" i said sitting next to omar
"and to think you didnt want to show up today" he looked over at me "im glad you did cuase if you didnt i would have to kiss your understudy dont think it would be the same"
"lunch time make sure you all eat" the co director said walking past us
"you wanna go grab some pizza" omar asked as he stood up he put a hand out to help me up
"i dont see why not" we both walked out of the building
"so your finally taking my advice" omar said as he pulled into the parking lot to the pizza place
"yea because its very good advice. no one should let someone treat them like this" we got out and went in "do you mind if i do it now"
"nope not at all do it now if you want to"
i dialed codys number right before he answered i let out a shaky breath

"why did you call if youre going to be a bitch"
eye rolled my eyes before continuing "i called to break up with you asshole. im tired of being trated like this i wanna be happy and you dont make me happy anymore"
"its not that. that guy your working with is fourcing you to do this"
"no he isnt im doing it cause i know whats best for me which you arent good for me so were done"
i hung up before he could say anything else. omar smiled at me "a weight's been lifted off your shoulder huh" i nodded "good maybe youll act better for the rest of the day"
we ate then went back to set.
"the last scene we will work on today is between Madelaine and omar so i need you two here now"
the kiss in the scene seemed to real. it was more passionate then the first as if there was some sort of connection between us. it was weird but at the same time i didnt mind the feeling
"thats a wrap for today we'll see you all tomorrow"
"looks like my mom is working late today" i mumbled sitting on a curb
"Madelaine youre still here" omar said coming up to me
"yep my mom pulled some extra hours so ill be here a while longer" i looked up at him and yet again i could see the wheels turning
"you could come to my apartment for a while if you dont want to be home alone or i could go to yours i dont mind driving the distance"
"we can go to yours i dont want you to waste the gas"
he agreed and we went to his place
"so are we gonna talk about how real today felt" he asked as he plopped down beside me
"what do you mean"
"i mean you broke up with the dick you were with and i know i cant be the only one who felt something weird during our staged kiss"
"so you felt that to" i looked at my hands waiting for him to respond
"yea it was weird but nice at the same time"
"yep"
"you dont like talking about these things do you"

"ill keep talking about it then. i like it wheni can make your face turns red" he place a finger under my chin and made me look at him "and i can tell you hate eye contact you try to avoid it. its cute"
a smile spread across his face which caused me to smile "no dont like eye contact and your a tease" i said pulling my head to the side just for him to move it back
"a tease how is that if you want something just ask for it"
i moved my eyes from his down to his lips then back to his eyes i noticed his do the same.
he started leaning in slowly i started to as well. our lips soon met.
