Sitting in the hall of vr mansion, sanskar and riddhima eyed the priest who was busy studying their horoscope, not able to control her emotions riddhima took out her phone and texted sanskar
R: if the horoscope didn't match?
Sanskar read her message and eyed her
She raised her eyebrows waiting for his reply
S: bhaag kar shaadi kar lein ge
Riddhima smirked seeing his message and indicated with her eyes towards uma, saying should she show this message to her.
Sanskar got embarrassed and asked her to keep quite by keeping finger on his lips.
Unaware to them , their little interaction was witnessed by vansh who was burning in jealousy and rage
U: what do u say pandit g, when should the marriage be done
The priest looked at vansh scared remembering how vansh has literally shoved the gun down his throat threatening him that if he announced a wedding date then he wouldn't be alive to see another morning
Uma noticed the priest eyeing vansh scared and understood that her son might have done something to make the priest scared for his life.
U: pandit g, you don't need to be scared of anyone, tell me what does my kids horoscope say.
The priest again glanced at vansh, and if looks could kill, he would have been hanging by the ceiling right now.
P: i suggest first we place these horoscope infront of God and pray, then decide a date for marriage.
All nodded and went towards the temple,
Placing the horoscope infront of god, everyone closed their eyes and started praying.
Suddenly a burning smell hit sanskar nostrils, he opened his eyes to see their horoscopes burning, rushing forward he tried to distinguish the fire. All were equally shocked by this, riddhima looked at vansh suspiciously but the fact that vansh was standing far away from the temple made her detective mind to slow down.
D: now how will we know about the wedding date?
Uma looked at sanskar and riddhima's sulking face and said
U: this wedding will take place after 2 days

U: maa, its an order from me.

Angre looked at vansh and then hesitatedly nodded his head.
Sanskar walked away from the temple a little upset, seeing him upset, riddhima followed him and saw him standing in the corridor lost in his thoughts

Sanskar pulled riddhima close, making her breath hitched
S: toh main tumhe abhi bhi cute lagta hoon
Saying so sanskar started leaning towards her lips, before he could kiss her, they heard uma voice, riddhima tried to free herself but in vain
R: sanskar choro, maa bula rhe hai, woh aa jae ge, dekh le ge woh
S: phele promise kro ke tum mujhe cute nhi bulao ge
R: okay. Nhi bulaon ge
S: or yeh bhi promise kro ke kal tum mere sath date par chalo ge
R: okay, now let me go
Sanskar left riddhima and she ran away from there being shy, as she was running, she collided with a hard chest and was about to fall down but the person snaked his hands around her and pulled her close to himself
Riddhima opened her eyes to see vansh holding her as if she was a glass doll, looking at her lovingly, coming out of his grip she excused her self and walked away.
The engagement ceremony was kept at night, dressed in a beautiful black dress
, riddhima descended down the stairs smiling happily, vansh smiled seeing her smile but then remembered how she was soo unhappy when they were getting engaged but today she is soo happy.
He wanted to see her happy always, but seeing her with someone else was some next level pain that he was unable to bear.
Coming to the stage, both riddhima and sanskar took the ring box but to their surprise the box was empty.
U: where did the rings go?
The boxes were with me the whole time, then how can the rings vanish
Angre searched for about half an hour but couldn't find the rings,
A lone tear escaped riddhima's eyes seeing her beautiful ceremony get ruined.
Sanskar held her hand and assured her that everything would be alright
U: i think we should call it a night.
I will order new rings for you both and we can continue the ceremony later on.
Everyone retired to their bedroom but riddhima was beyond furious, her mind kept indicating only one person who was capable of all this, furious she marched towards vansh study with sanskar tagging along her,
Before she could barge in and burst out in anger, she heard vansh's voice
V: angre, how did this happen? How can the rings disappear?
An: boss you should be happy that the ceremony halted.
V: angre, all this made riddhima really upset then how can i be happy?
Riddhima and sanskar looked at eachother confused, if not vansh, then who was behind all this.
Both reluctantly went to their respective room to rest.
Next day:
Vansh was busy reading his files, when his phone pinged, opening it, he saw that riddhima has posted a picture of her and sanskar on her insta account, it seemed like they were on a date.
Seeing them soo close made his veins pop, picking up the wine bottle, he gulped it down his throat but it did nothing to sooth his pain, he didn't realise when he had finished 3 wine bottles.
Riddhima walked inside the house happily, sanskar got an urgent call so he had dropped her to vr mansion and went away.
Riddhima entered her room but before she could close the door, vansh entered Inside fully drunk.
R: what the hell
V: yes, what the hell.
Why are you marrying that sanskar? Why? You are my wife, you are mine
R: you are drunk , plz go away
V: no, not today, since that sanskar came here, you have been ignoring me, but today you will have to answer me.

Vansh came near riddhima and cupped her face,
Riddhima wanted to push him away but his grip was strong
V: look me in the eye and say that you never felt love for me, you never felt butterflies in your stomach when i came close to you, you never felt hurt when i was hurt, you didn't feel the whole world collapsed when i jumped from the cliff.
Riddhima looked him dead in the eyes and said

Vansh walked out of the room dejected, reaching his room, vansh fell infront of the large portrait of riddhima present in his room, curling himself into fetal position, he kept sobbing and mumbling

The next few days went by and finally the wedding day arrived, vansh tried his best to keep distance from riddhima as he didn't wanted her to hate him even more.
Dressed in a heavy bridal dress,

Opening it she saw, sanskar confessing that he didn't wanted to marry her and wad forced into doing all this, that is why he tried various means to stop the wedding like burning the horoscope and hiding the ring but all failed thats why he decided to flee from the wedding alter

Uma hugged riddhima tight and asked her

Riddhima simply nodded her head
U: then marry my vansh
Riddhima looked at her shocked

Riddhima thought for sometime and then finally agreed
Both vansh and riddhima sat down and took the wedding vows together
As vansh filled riddhima's hair line and tied the nuptial chain he said,
V: i vansh promise to protect and treat you right riddhima, just trust me once, I promise this married life of ours would be full of happiness, i wont allow even a shadow of sorrow to come near you.
