Thor had quite the elaborate plan to avenge the death of our mother, all of which included hijacking a plane that he had insisted he would know how to drive. He made it very clear to me as he explained all this that he would be the one to fly us out even though I was clearly the better pilot. He had made me promise to take him through one of my secret passageways in order to travel to Jotunheim without the aid of the Bifrost.

As he explained all of this to me, it sounded like somewhat of a suicide mission. I couldn't help but wonder if I would even come back alive to live the free life he had promised me, the life alongside Sigyn I so craved.

"I'm not doing a thing for you until Sigyn and I are wed," I said, "I let mother down, I can't do the same to her. Especially not now."

"Do you truly think you're in the position to bargain, brother?" he asked, nearly beginning to laugh at me.

"Hardly," I said, "But I stand by what I said."

He looked me over, grunting as he realized just how stubborn I was on the matter.

"It won't be a lavish ceremony, you realize," he said, "We hardly have time to do this plan, and hell do you even have Odin's blessing to marry her?"

"And since when has getting Odin's permission ever stopped me, brother?"

SIGYN'S POINT OF VIEW
A week had gone by since Loki and I had seen each other last. Of course, I had tried to visit him. I knew how much he had loved his mother and if my grief for Frigga was this strong I could only imagine how his grief consumed him. But yet, he refused to see me.

In spite of it all, I truly couldn't say I was surprised. The last time he had spoke to me had confessed a plot to kill his own brother and it ended up being through this plan that his mother had died. No doubt, he felt ashamed. As he should.

At his mother's ship burial, I stood in his place, watching as all of asgard sent her off to Valhala. All the while, he stayed in his cell, refusing my company even after the funeral. As I had watched her float away, towards the falls, I couldn't help but think of him. My soul burned with fury. How prideful he was to justify all these deaths and to have refused to let me help. His leger was even more soaked with blood than before and perhaps mine was as well.

I tried to busy myself, continuing with the same routine I had before I had met him. I didn't want to think of him. I just wanted to move on. I knew now more than ever his promise to marry me was nothing but a lie. As much as I wished to just forget, I couldn't. Especially not after he had seen me in my entirety.

Most days, I found it hard to just live life like normal. I had been plagued with bouts of sickness, throwing up in the morning. I knew it was simply from stress. I couldn't help but be worried well sick about Loki and grieve not only Frigga but our relationship as well.

I laid in bed one morning, covers up to my chin as Hertha sat at my side. I had yet again been struck with a bout of illness. She stroked my hair softly, holding a cold compress to my head.

"You don't have to do this," I said soflty.

"Yes, I do," she insisted, "Sigyn, you haven't kept a meal down all week. You need rest and you need care."

"I'm fine," I groaned, turning away from her, "Give me till noon and I can assure you I'll be fine, it seems to go away by mid-day."

She rolled her eyes, "You're the most stubborn person I know."

I chuckled, "Thank you, I-" and sickness overtook me as I quickly grabbed the bucket I had been afforded.

Sure enough, as midday came I was able to finally get out of bed and begin my chores. My sisters all fussed over me once I finally got to work, insisting that they would help me and that I just needed to rest.

"Please," I said, "I'm fine, I'm the epitome of health, I can handle the work."

"You've thrown up every day,"  Aldun said.

"Doesn't seem like you're fine," Alfhild added.

I ignored them, tending to the dishes that had piled up in our kitchen. I didn't need all their fussing, I was really truly fine. I blocked out all their comments and questions, simply going on with the task at hand.

I became so focussed, I hardly noticed when a knock came to our door. Hertha was quick to go and open it, nearly jumping over Eerika to do so. Suddenly, the home grew so quiet that even my father became curious to see who was at the door. I, however, refused to turn around, surely it was nobody I would care about.

"Sigyn," Hertha called, "Come here."

"No."

"Sigyn please, you must," Fallon beckoned.

"No."

My Father stepped outside, causing all seven of my sisters to run to the window beside me to try and see what the visitor and him were discussing. Their voices had all diluted to whispers as they gossipped amongst themselves about the visitor. I continued to pay no attention until Hertha whispered, Loki.

I swiftly turned around, pushing past them to look out the window for myself. And of course, there he was. He stood in front of my Father, seemingly bargaining with him. Loki stood tall nd proud, remaining calm as he spoke with my Father. What the hell is he doing here,  I thought to myself as I watched him.

I could hardly bear looking at him without wanting to hurl a plate at him or go and kiss him immediately. I truly couldn't decide which course of action would be more pleasurable.

"I'm going to my room."

"Sigyn wait," Hertha said, pulling me back as she tugged on my hand, "You're as stubborn as a mule, you know you want to see him."

"Besides," Fallon added, "He said he was here to marry you."
