Secrets have always been present in the palaces of great empires, why should Asgard be any different? In the wake of the battle with the Vanaheim rebels, Sigyn finds herself becoming more than just a healer in the courts of the kingdom. The spirits of the realms have never been better and there is peace at last thanks to the God of Thunder, Thor. But even in the wake of all of this joyous activity in the Odin household, an evil force, greater than they have ever encountered, moves against the Nine Realms in the form of Sigyn's beloved; Prince Loki. The behaviors of the recently returned Prince distresses the maiden who fears to lose him as she did Theoric; there seems to be a new lie at every turn. A sacrifice is demanded, but who will pay the ultimate price?

As much as you hated it, you began to fall for the Prince of Mischief, rather than the mighty Thor himself. Years later people hold high respect for your name, your small family rising from the slums. Four years have passed since they were born and within those four years, much as changed. However even though years have passed, time stands still on Asgard, or at least Loki would like to think so. Sigyn , in spite of that, continues to raise their sons while wishing the King would be more involved with their lives. She knows better than he that they will not stay young forever. An old threat returns and promises to exact it's revenge upon the new royal family. The children's mysterious past and games are nothing compared with what beings to seep into the palace. Deals and shadows lurk around every corner. As the walls of Asgard grow louder with it's secrets, it's only a matter of time until the entire Kingdom comes crumbling down around them, claiming it's final victims. Is this how fairy tales are supposed to end? With death hanging over their heads with some deals made to be kept while others are broken? War has always accompanied the God of Mischief and Goddess of Fidelity; a constant chaos. A newly founded war continues to spread and threatens to decimate the kingdom one final time. Sigyn, queen of Vanaheim was completely unimpressed with the 'peace offering' that was currently chained up at the foot of her throne, panting and coughing on her silk robes and looking away in either frustration or humiliation. Either way, this man was clearly not as willing a peace offering as Odin had previously said. Perhaps it was the bleeding, cut eyebrow or the bruised jaw which was covered with a mouthguard that gave it away. Odin himself was standing to the side of the throne room, looking rather impressed with himself, his eyes flitting from the chained man to the unimpressed queen of Vanaheim, waiting to gauge her reaction. Sigyn allows Loki, forgotten prince of Asgard into her home and life, bonding with him and eventually allowing herself to enjoy his company, but as time goes on things become more complicated and more problems arise, but will they be solved? Or will it blow up in their faces, only to be forgotten again? I don't own marvel, Loki, Thor, Odin or Amora, even Sigyn is taken from marvel (but lets be honest its much better than the wet paper bag that is comic book sigyn) and Lord Balinir is my own creation.
