"That's basically flirting dude" Jake spoke, failing to make an eye-contact with Sunghoon.
"I am aware of that fact and I did mention that I was being genuine"
"Sometimes I wonder why did I even talk to you in the first place"
After a few minutes of comfortable silence (with Sunghoon being dangerously close to Jake), The demon backed off. Noticing Jake's gaze fixed on his lips.
"Eh~ ?" He grinned, raising his eyebrows teasingly.
Soon a scoff was heard as the young photographer got up, making his way to the restroom, Soon returning with a med kit in his hands.
"You literally have a bleeding cut beside your lips" He spoke, gesturing for the taller to sit down on his bed.
Surprised, Sunghoon's gaze immediately travelled to the small mirror on Jaeyun's nightstand. He stared at his reflection, realizing there was indeed a cut beside his lips (bleeding quite a lot being descriptive)
"Seriously, What happened" The younger asked, worried as Sunghoon seated on the bed.
Immediately, Jaeyun leaned in, first cleaning the blood off and then proceeding to apply the ointment.
"Got into a fight" He answered, staring at Jaeyun, who was too focused treating the cut to even realize he was being stared.
Once the shorter male realized what Sunghoon had said, he immediately came to an halt. Gaze shifting from the cut to the other male's eyes.
"What the ?" The younger spoke, furrowing his brows.
"Bunch of humans put up a fight, so out of defense I had to fight back. Luckily the council was nice enough to let this pass" The demon stated, wrapping his hands around Jake's waist to hold him still.
And there went Jaeyun's sanity.
Sunghoon was one hell of a clingy demon.
"Coucil ?" He managed to ask as he watched Sunghoons expression change.
"Yeah, we demons have a specific set of rules to follow when we are appointed a human. If we break any of them the council decides our punishments. Not hurting humans unless in serious situations is one of them." He answered, his grip on the youngers male loosening slightly.
"I wouldn't be surprised if you said vampires and werewolves existed, at this point" The photographer spoke, shaking his head as his hands rested on Sunghoons shoulder.
Sunghoon just shook his head, a small grin on his lips which made Jake have a soft smile tugging at the corner of his lips.
Was it normal to be this comfortable with your sleep paralyses demon ?
I forced myself to write it pls-- Idk how to feel about this chapter like my plan was to have Sunghoon be flirty and clingy af while Jake treats his wound but my non-existing motivations says brrrr.
Anyways I'll most likely re-write this chapter soon. Stay safe !
