One month has gone. The girls and Y/N had gotten closer since then. It still amazes them how they could get so close so quickly.
"one month more and back to school" Nayeon groaned as she stretched her arms.
"stop complaining when you're the one graduating soon" Jihyo rolled her eyes.
"it's not my fault, I was born earlier than you" Nayeon said.
"so the first thing I hear is not a good afternoon or a hello but fighting. When will there ever be peace and quiet?" Jeongyeon sighed.
"peace and quiet is just right out that door" Nayeon pointed to the front door.
"why you so mad?" Jeongyeon said.
"I'm not mad. I'm just angry"
"that's the same thing!" Jeongyeon said.
"my oh my. Already fighting?" they turned to find Y/N.
"just having some small talk, that's all" Jihyo smiled.
"uhuh. Anyways, one month more and you girls are back to school. I'll be picking you girls up from school but if I can, I'll send you as well"
"wah~ thank you" Jihyo said.
"oh and I got a cake for Jeongyeon"
"huh?" Jeongyeon said.
"y/n bought her cake.." the other two thought the same.
"it's from peach?" y/n titled her head as she read the small sticky note.
"oh.. Hirai Momo" Jeongyeon said as she took the cake from Y/N.
"Is she your friend?"
"no. She's my ex"
"oh, can I ask what happen?"
"nothing extreme happened. We just didn't work out well but she still sends me cake from time to time"
"and why is that?"
"because it marks the day we first met"
"aww and the both of you still remember" Nayeon said.
"have you tried contacting her?" Y/N asked.
"I rather not"
"why not?"
"she has a girlfriend now"
"and you are afraid to catch feelings again?"
"I think I'm already falling for you" Jeongyeon thought to herself.
"no, I just don't want to stir their relationship up" Jeongyeon said.
"I think Momo's girlfriend is okay with it. I mean Momo still sends you cake on a 'special' day. Maybe its just a friendship gift" Y/N explained.
"I don't know. I rather not think about it" Jeongyeon said, "I'll go put this in the freezer"
"freezer?" Y/N said to herself.
"the cake is nicer when it's like that" Jihyo says.
"what about you two, dated anyone before?"
"I used to date Jeongyeon" Nayeon said.
"Nayeon unnie was head over heals for Jeongyeon back then" Jihyo said.
"eh?" 😅 Y/N said.
"we're just kidding" the two of them laughed.
"that scared me for a minute" Y/N thought to herself as she scratched her nape.
"I used to date a girl name Mina. Myoui Mina" Nayeon says, "we just lost feelings for one another because I was too busy so she decided to break up"
"Nayeon! Get over here!" Jeongyeon shouted.
"what now?" Nayeon rolled her eyes, "coming!" she shouted back as she left the two behind.
"what about you, Jihyo?"
"I never dated before"
"oh. Have you ever liked someone?"
"yeah"
"who is it?"
"even I tell you the name, it's not like you will know that person"
"true but I'm curious"
Jihyo smirked. She leaned in closer, "you"
Y/N laughed, "you're adorable, Jihyo"
The other two then came back, "what's wrong?" Jihyo asked.
"dad just called" Nayeon said.
"we have a meeting party to go to" Jeongyeon said.
"huh now?" Jihyo said.
Jeongyeon checked her phone again, "tomorrow night, 9pm"
"I'm so lazy" Jihyo leaned on Y/N's shoulder and Y/N patted her head.
"can we get drinks afterwards?" Jihyo looked at Y/N with puppy eyes and a pout.
"she's asking her now.." Jeongyeon thought to herself as she rolls her eyes.
"we'll see" Y/N smiled, "can I have some cake, Jeongyeon?"
"sure, it's already in the freezer"
"are you in love, Jihyo?" Nayeon asked.
"no, why would you say that?" Jihyo titled her head with her hands behind her back.
Nayeon just stares at her, "don't take her away"
"i'm not doing anything"
"mhm~" Nayeon crossed her arms.
"whatever, I'm sure I'm her favourite"
"Jihyo-" Jeongyeon got cutted oof by Jihyo shouting and running to Y/N who was in the kitchen, "Y/N, who is your favourite?"
Jeongyeon sighed.
"Jihyo is probably head over heals for Y/N. That poor child"
"we only know her for a month and this is how you two are acting?" Jeongyeon was judging the two.
"as if you don't have any feeling"
"I don't?"
"you sure?"
"yes"
"you'll fall in love with her soon enough"
"whatever you say Nayeon"
"hey, don't underestimate me. Remember when I say that Momo will tell you that she likes you and I was right, right?"
Jeongyeon nodded and sighed, "but you were wrong too when you say that we'll last long"
"I follow my gut, I'm not some 'can see the future' person" Nayeon rolled her eyes before she went to join the other two in the kitchen.
"it can't be love.. can it?" Jeongyeon thought to herself as she watched y/n smiling as she feeds Jihyo while Nayeon was waiting for her turn.
"nah, I'm just happy to see them happy, that's all" Jeongyeon smiled to herself.
Jeongyeon's phone then vibrate. She look at it and it was their dad.
"hi dad"
"Jeongyeon, I'm sorry for disturbing you"
"it's okay, dad. I wasn't busy anyways"
"how is everything?"
"we're getting along just fine"
"I was so caught with work that I forgot to ask how you three were"
"it's okay"
"how is Y/N? Nothing bad happened so far?"
"nope"
"well that's surprising. Normally, you girls would be giving them a hard time. I guess a female was all that is needed"
"yeah, I guess so"
"what's wrong, teddy? You sound sad"
"it's nothing. Just confuse on my feelings"
"Hirai Momo?"
"dad, stop. I move on from her. It's someone else" as she turned to look at Y/N.
"oh, I see. Well, just wait for the feelings to grow stronger then maybe you'll know or does she/he give you the butterflies?"
"sometimes"
"hmm, maybe you're slowly falling in love but don't rush it, okay. Just let your feelings flow and we'll see from there, okay?"
"yeah, thanks dad"
"is that dad?" Jihyo shouted and Jeongyeon nodded.
"is that Jihyo?"
Jeongyeon giggled, "yeah, it is"
"she's always the loudest among the three of you"
"hi dad" Jihyo said cheerfully. Jeongyeon put the phone on speaker mode.
"haha hello there sweetie, how are you?"
"i'm good dad, you?"
"i'm good too. What are you girls up to now?"
"Y/N is feeding us cake"
"that's sweet"
"how's work dad?" Nayeon suddenly came in.
"hahaha it's all good sunshine"
"I missed you" Jihyo said.
"not as much as me" Nayeon said.
"hahahah alright. Teddy, could you pass the phone to Y/N? I need to speak to her in private"
"sure, dad"
"Y/N! Dad wants to speak to you" Nayeon called.
Jeongyeon then headed the phone to Y/N, "thank you" Y/N said and the three of them walked away.
"good afternoon, sir"
"good afternoon, Y/N. I heard you have been treating my girls well and I want to thank you for that"
"it's just my job, sir"
"anyways, I have reports of you doing an excellent job along with the other guards. Your brother was right. You are the best for the job"
"thank you sir"
"one more y/n, if any of my daughters ever falls in love with you and confess, how would you react?"
"This is very sudden, sir but, it depends on the situation, sir. Is everything alright, sir?"
"whatever it is, please don't hurt my girls"
Y/N gulped. She doesn't intend to but she doesn't have a choice.
"I'll try, sir. Is that all?"
"yes and take care y/n"
"you too sir" and y/n ended the call.
"did dad scold you?" Jihyo who was already near Y/N.
"no, he was just praising me"
"y/n, i want to ask you something"
"what is it?"
"when we tried to bully you, I uhm, saw you cry before I called you a pabo. We didn't actually meant it. We're sorry if we hurt you"
"you didn't. Someone else did and I- it's okay"
"who is that person? I will beat them up"
Y/N laughed which made Jihyo better, "you're so cute but you can't"
"eh why?"
"I love her"
Jihyo was relieved that she may finally have a chance to get with Y/N but broke her again when y/n was still in love with another.
"her? You said you were straight"
"did I?" Y/N scratched her head.
"you lied?"
"it's not easy to just tell someone that I'm bi"
"oh.. I'm sorry but who is she?"
"Son Chaeyoung. I loved her but she committed suicide" Jihyo didn't say anything but hugged y/n.
"the both of you had a really bad fight it seems"
"yeah we did..." Y/N looked away.
"I'm sorry Chae... I had to.." Y/N thought to herself as she silently cried.
Jihyo looked at y/n, "don't cry. I'm sure she is in a better place now"
Y/N then pulled Jihyo in closer, "can we stay like this for a little longer?"
"sure" as Jihyo rubbed Y/N's back.
When Jeongyeon and Nayeon came back, they were jealous to find Jihyo hugging Y/N but stopped when they saw Y/N's tears.
Y/N then went upstairs as the girls approached Jihyo.
"what happened?" Nayeon asked.
"she's just thinking about her loved one"
"did they passed on?" Jeongyeon asked and Jihyo nodded.
"poor y/n, let's cheer her up when she gets out" Nayeon said and the two of them nodded.
The girls waited and it was already 8pm. Nevertheless, they still waited.
They heard the door open and saw Y/N coming down the stairs.
"sorry, I fell asleep" Y/N felt embarrassed., "very unprofessional. I'm sorry"
"it's okay, anyways, we wanted to join you for a movie night if you're not busy" Jeongyeon said.
"sure" Y/N patted her head, "I'll go get some popcorn ready" and she went for the kitchen.
"I'll get the drinks" Jihyo said.
"I'll get the movie ready" Nayeon said.
"let's go, Jihyo" Y/N said and Jihyo clinged her arm around Y/N's as they walked to the kitchen together.
"were you blushing?" Jeongyeon flinched when she turned to find Nayeon's face so close to hers.
"yah!" Jeongyeon said, "shut up and choose a movie"
"alright alright" Nayeon laughed.
Soon after, the two came back with the popcorn and drinks as they placed it on the table.
"what are we watching?"
"the Conjuring 3" Nayeon said.
"the devil probably looks like Nayeon unnie" Jeongyeon said and the three of them laughed.
"shut up" Nayeon scoffed.
After the movie ended, the girls were scared so they didn't move. Y/N laughed.
"can we sleep with you tonight?" Nayeon asked.
"but the bed is too small for more than two people. Let's sleep outside tonight then?"
"okay" Nayeon said and they got ready the things.
"alright then, goodnight" Y/N said as she went to off the light and with that, the girls fell asleep.
