Marinette's POV
Marinette was having a normal day of 9th grade, waking up late to Tikki yelling in her ear, falling out of bed, running to class. But this time when she got there, everyone, besides Chloe, was huddled around Lila.
Alya came up to me and started yelling at me. I was shocked at what came out of her mouth because never thought that I would hear her say anything like that to me.
"Marinette how could you!? How dare you beat up Lila I thought you were better than that!"
"What do you mean? I just got here and I would never beat up Lila!"
"Lila is my new bestie now. I can't believe i ever called you my friend."
I started crying. I ran. Up to my room, on to my bed and cried. Until I finally fell asleep. Darkness consumed me and I let it. From that day on I was no longer Marinette. The peppy, happy, pink loving princess Marinette. I was now Mari, the dark color loving, cold, rude person that was best friends with Chloe Bourgeois.
