Short P.O.V
Miles kept pulling me hard, nearly making me stumble because of his strength. After a while, we stopped in a quiet and secluded place.
"Ano ba kasi ang kailangan mo?" tinaasan ko na siya ng kilay, naiinis na ako dahil hindi niya sinasagot ang mga katanungan ko! I don't feel well and I badly needed to take a shower, he sighed before looking at me.
"It's about this bracelet." pinakita niya sa'kin 'yung bracelet. 'Yung bracelet na binigay sa kanya ni Athena bago pa ito mamatay. I've witnessed it all. But, what about it? Why am I involved with this?
"It's been a week, bakit hindi mo pa 'yan nabigay?" I asked till I realized something. "Wait, why am I involved with this?" he sighed, casting an intense gaze upon me. In response, I met his eyes with a scrutinizing expression.
"You, killed her." nabigla ako sa sinabi kaya't napaatras.
"What do you mean?" naguguluhang tanong ko at humakbang siya papalapit sa'kin.
"Your opponent was Aliyah, Athena's sister, now what do I do if she's gone?" parang binuhusan ako ng malamig na tubig, but my expression changes as soon as I realized something. Was he trying to blame me?
"Wait hold on," I put my right hand on my waist looking at him in disbelief. "Don't place the blame on me, kasalanan mo 'yan kung bakit hindi mo kaagad nabigay 'yung bracelet." I straightforwardly told him.
I was certain that it's not my fault. No one is at fault! Even if my opponent killed me, I would never want anyone to blame her! We are all left with no options.
He came closer to where I'm standing, "Look. I'm not blaming you, okey? I just wanted to know if she's really gone dahil hindi ko alam kung ano na ang maaari kong gawin kapag wala na siya."
"Bakit?" what's his point really?
Pinakita niya sa'kin ang bracelet. He puzzled and formed it into something tiyaka nilock niya ito bago hinarap sa'kin, doon ko lang nalaman na ang magnetic metal bracelet na 'yan ay isang susi. Kinuha ko kaagad iyon sa kanya bago sinuri ang susi na nasa aking kamay.
"I actually once gave it to her but she refused to take it. Ngayon ko lang nalaman na susi pala 'yan. It was my chance to ask her but I wouldn't be able to know now that she's gone." I bit the insides of my lips.
"I couldn't do anything about it. I'm sorry, you're too late." saad ko at napatingin siya sa'kin nang seryoso.
"I know, and you shouldn't be sorry."
"What do you think this key is all about?" he let out a small sigh, shrugged, and ran his fingers through his red hair, which occasionally covered his eyes.
"I don't know." he answered again.
"Does she have friends you know?" kumuha ako ng bubble gum sa aking bulsa.
"She doesn't make any friends, it's hopeless to know what's behind that key you're holding. Pero, naalala ko 'yung huling sinabi niya sa'kin."
"What has she told you?" I was about to eat the last piece of my gum when he suddenly took it away from me, the nerve! He ate my last gum right in front of my eyes.
He licked his lips before uttering a word. "You open that cage." napalunok ako dahil ang lapit niya, I gently pushed him away.
"You ate my last piece of gum." I grumbled in annoyance. He just chuckled and casually plucked something from my face, it turned out to be a stray piece of gum, he looked at it right after looking at me in a teasing way.
"Too much eating of gums huh? Karlynn, masama 'to sa kalusugan kaya kinain ko na lamang para sayo before you'd even get temporomandibular disorder." I rolled my eyes before heading away.
"Ibalik mo 'yung susi!" sigaw niya, and I tossed it his way.
I grinned as he failed to catch it before heading inside the building to get change. In the meantime, my brain was still grappling with something.
'You open that cage'
Kung ganoon, maaaring may nalalaman sila dito na napaka importante, pinapabigay ni Athena iyon kay Aliyah pero siguro ay natakot ito sa plano nila sa kung ano mang dahilan.
Tila nilamon na ako ng kuryosisad.
Chapter 11: Escape With The Devil

Napanganga ako at hindi makapaniwala sa nakikita ko ngayon sa harapan. Am I really seeing these foods? Or am I hallucinating? I looked at Silver in disbelief.
I sighed, I'm going to be alright, I've read before that human body can live to three weeks without food, I can survive in just three days as long as he wouldn't kill me!
I gripped on my skirt.
Too bad... I forgot about at least water without food, how can I survive?
"Kung gutom ka, just take it, you're lucky that I even brought food." he stated gravely, maintaining his typical mischievous demeanor.
"But how?" I asked, brows furrowed in confusion.
"I have my ways flower. And most importantly, I'm an advance thinker. Just eat and don't ask too many questions. I'm not good when I'm irritated." sabi niya samantalang napaisip naman ako.
"You've never been good," I murmured. I saw him smirk.
"I know." sabi niya lang kaya napalunok ako. He dang heard it!
I just ate and couldn't believe that the devil is sharing me his food. Devils were supposed to be selfish, right? Habang kumakain ay napapatingin pa rin ako sa balikat niya. It's really unusual, not even a tiny scar! Tinaasan niya ako ng kilay.
"What's wrong?" he asked at napailing kaagad ako.
"It's just, your wound, it's gone." he scoffed as I looked away, feeling a bit embarrassed as he caught me glancing at his broad shoulder. I got surprised when he held my hand! I felt a strange galvanizing electricity as soon as his warm feverish hands met with mine.
"Watch." sabi niya habang diretso ang tingin sa'kin, napangiwi naman ako sa bigla niyang ginawa!
He only drew a line using his thumb on my hand at nasugatan kaagad ito! Nakapakawala ako nang mahinang ungol sa sakit, it's as if I were injured by a really sharp knife. I cringed when I realized I made an awkward noise but I was relieved that he doesn't seem to bother.
He gazed at me in his staggering killer eyes before simply healing it just by holding my hand. How the heck is this even possible?
Hinawi ko kaagad ang kamay ko sa kanya! Kinabahan ako at ang lakas nang kulabog ng puso ko! Napatingin ako sa kanya nang hindi makapaniwala, nevertheless, he just released a bored sigh before moving to the side of the room. Mayroong maliit na kulungan pala doon, sa dilim ay hindi ko na nakita, the flashlight can't conquest the whole room.
Nagpamulsang napatingin siya sa'kin. "Don't be too shocked," he smirked.
"What are you doing?"
He effortlessly pulled open the steel fence of that mini jail! I noticed his strong biceps and his back flexed, making my eyebrows furrow again. Dang, what a force of that guy?
He entered, slid the curtains, and pulled the steel fence back again at the rear. Napatingin siya sa'kin at inayos-ayos 'yung buhok niya na kumakalat sa kanyang mukha.
"Do you want to join me escape or not?" he said in an impatient manner. I was shocked.
"O-of course I do!" I quickly stood up from the floor and joined him.
Immediately, the sun grazed my skin as I walked by, but my mouth formed an 'o' as soon as I realized that we're standing on the cliff! Napalunok din ako nang sampalin ako ng realidad. Kaagad akong humarap sa kanya.
"They'll impose even harsher punishment if they found out about this." tila parang wala siyang may narinig. Napabuntong hininga ako, "Nasa labas na ba tayo ng building?" sabi ko muli and he scoffed at my remark.
"No. See that humongous wall over there?" turo niya sa kalayuan. "We're still imprisoned." he remarked, and that statement hit me a bit.
"Enough talking and follow me." napatakip ako sa bibig ko nang tumalon lang siya bigla!
Below me, waterfalls cascaded, and the idea of leaping after him was just scary! May nakita akong hagdan sa gilid kaya doon ako bumaba. Despite the considerable distance, I leapt from one patch of land to another until I landed amid the alluring green Bermuda grass.
"Bakit hindi ka na lang sumunod?" nagulat ako dahil sa nakitang hindi pala siya basa. Nakaupo siya sa isang, parang slide at may daanan papunta dito.
"Slide," I said.
"It's a shortcut knucklehead. Told you to follow me." napatingin siya sa binti kong may malalim na sugat, siya ang may gawa nito. Ginamot na rin naman ito pero hindi sapat. Malalim pa rin, kinakailangan pa rin itong takpan ng makakapal na bandages.
He suddenly got up and went straight to me. He's so close that got me feeling uncomfortable. Napakuyom ang kamao ko nang lumuhod siya sa harapan ko bago kinuha ang nakatakip na bandages nang unti-unti sa aking binti.
I looked at him as he starts healing my wound. The sense of wonder is starting to resurface, why is he healing me?
"There." sabi niya lang bago lumakad palayo. Tiningnan ko ang mga binti ko at buo na, unscarred! Diretso ang tingin ko sa kanya.
"Saan ka pupunta?" tanong ko pero
ipinagpatuloy niya lamang ang paglalakad nang hindi ako pinapansin. At a low pace, I followed him.
Patuloy lang akong sumunod sa kanya hanggang sa makarating kami sa napakagandang hardin.
"How did you know this place?" I asked.
"It's mine." he answered as he lay down on the bermuda grass.
"Yours?" I was hesitant to believe.
"Not totally mine, but I designed this spot and made it my own, why do you ask?"
"No reason at all." napamulat siya bago napataas ang isang kilay. He's now looking at me enormously like he was about to say something but stopped himself.
"Bakit mo'ko sinundan?" he said that instead. "I asked you to follow my tricks in escaping, not to accompany me everywhere I go."
"I... I just wanted to say thank you." kinagat ko ang dila ko. I couldn't believe that I'm saying thank you to a devil right at this moment. Sana hindi ko na lang siya sinundan!
"Interesting flower." he looked at me weirdly with a smirk so I just nodded and immediately went somewhere far from him.
He's a trouble Azami, why did you say thank you? I cursed myself for doing that because I shouldn't have said that! We were supposed to kill each other that night and I could have killed him! There should be boundaries between us and I would never break that. I shouldn't associate myself with him, I shouldn't associate myself with the devil.
I chose to sit on the grass, tossing rocks into the water. I looked at my healed leg. "Oddly enough, he possesses a power that can harm and heal you at the same time."
"I know right?" I nearly jumped from my sit because of the voice who spoke just behind me. It was Sky!
"He got it from Master." sabi pa nito bago umupo sa tabi ko. "He had once saved Master's life that's why half of the power was given to him. It was more like a gift." napatingin ako sa kanya.
"Why are you telling me this?" tanong ko at natawa lang siya. He didn't answer me instead nagpakilala pa.
"I'm Sky Ravis." pagpakilala niya, I looked away and just remained silent as I always do. I'm too careful of who I should associate myself with. And he is one of those people. Infact, I already know who he was before he could even introduce himself.
"Rude, should I tell the others you've escaped?" he walked away kaya agad na hinawakan ko ang paa niya! There's no way I'd let him!
"There you go." he chuckled genuinely. Mas napakunot ang noo ko. What is wrong with him? I just met him and he's acting so comfortable around me.
"Shall I know your name miss?" I just sighed.
It's no use of this guy. Sa itsura pa lang ay parang siya 'yung tipong lalaki na mapilit tapos makulit. I've never expected him to be like this to me, especially when a lot of people were scared of him for being at the top list of Darkness. I've never expected him to be naughty? I mean he's supposed to be cruel or rude right?
"Azami." I finally said my name.
"Amy," my brows furrowed. I just said Azami right?
"Azami." ulit ko.
"Amy," he laughed again, and that's how I realized that he's really making fun of me and is even giving me a nickname. I rolled my eyes not looking at him para hindi niya makita.
"You're funny you know. Too funny that you're also the first person na makagawang sakupin si Silver sa punishments."
I scoffed. "Pardon?"
"Innocent Amy, it's Silver's first punishment." he said and I looked at him in disbelief.
