Still there watching him as he disappeared I heard my phone buzz! I checked on it to see who's message it is.
It was Kyne and I wondered what he wanted!
Kyne: u still at school?
No
Kyne: where are u nah?
At the airport
Kyne: can we meet at the supermarket near there?
Of course
I wrote as the security guard came and told me to change the parking place if I wanted to stay any longer.
"Am sorry, am going," I said starting the engine. He waved at me and I did the same.
When I reached to the supermarket, I took my phone and wrote to Kyne to ask him where he was.
Already there, where are you?
Kyne: I came with a cub, still on the gate
Okay, am in a white car parking lot 202
Kyne: coming.
I then saw him coming. I put on my hood well and pulled out the keys as I opened the car getting out.
"Here Adams," I shouted so that he can hear me. He then stood and turned to look in my direction as I also rushed to reach him.
"How was school?" He asked.
"Boring as usual, you know! Getting in with your chicks," I said teasingly.
"What did they say to you?" he asked as we moved towards the entrance of the supermarket.
"I think they both love you, if not playing some sick games," I said shrugging.
"Leave them, by the way you look good in those, if only you had no hoodie on," he chuckled.
"Thanks, but the mirror too is curious to know me now," I let out a laugh.
He let me enter first as he came after me.
"How did you know the place? I mean you're new," he asked.
"I passed here going to the airport. Don't think am a careless driver not to see my surroundings," I shrug.
"So bright do I say?" he asked.
"You got no other choice. By the way why am I here?" I asked.
"I called you to help me do groceries. Considering my brother needs home made these days," he said in a low voice.
"Let's turn here then," I said taking him to the fruits part.
After shopping we directly went to kyne's not forgetting the fact that he wanted me to help him. He wanted me to help him make fruit juice for his brother. I first helped him put the groceries in the fridge (the necessary ones) and placed all that I would need on the counter.
"Take this," he said giving me one apron and the kitchen gloves as he pulled out the knives from the knife board.
"Chop this?" he asked making me look at him.
"Yeah," I said as we started working on some fruits, as he chopped them and I used the blender.
"I see you can do it better," I teased.
"I hate it though," he shrugged, "but no one is here to do it so I sometimes cook," he said, "anyway are you going to be living alone?"
"Yes, would you like to join me in?" I teased.
"No," he smiled, "would you accept my offer though?"
"Shoot,"
"Tomorrow here is a party. I wanted you to come, if it's okay with you," he said turning on the stove.
"Am sorry, but I might not come," I said.
"Why?"
"Because am not the party type of a girl,"
"What will you be doing?" he is asking a lot!
"Not sure," I said.
"Okay, as you wish,"
After making the juice, we then started making supper for three.
"What would you like for dessert?" he asked.
"Apple pie, that is," I said with a grin.
"I don't know how to make it," he said.
"I can make it," I said.
After everything was set on the dining table, Kyne looked at me.
"Go get him," he said. I knew who he meant.
"No, go get him," I said.
"Am going to bring the forks from the kitchen. We forgot them," he mentioned pointing at the table.
"I can bring them. Just tell me where to find them," I said.
"Am going to bring him and you search everything by yourself," he said with a smirk but didn't move.
"Ok, which room?" I asked with a sigh.
"Upstairs," he shrugged and I groaned heading upstairs. There were three rooms and I wondered which one would be the right one! Fortunately he was in the first room I opened, I approached his bed. He looked asleep.
"Supper is ready, or do I call it dinner?" I said chuckling. Stupid, I looked stupid talking to a sleeping person. I turned to look at him and he was looking at me!
"May I help you up?" I asked as he just nodded. I then placed my hands under his head and tried to help him sit straight in the bed. I then took his slippers and helped him wear them.
"Thank you," he said.
"Not at all," I said as I made his one arm wrap around my shoulders, I placed mine on his waist making sure my hoodie isn't removed. I helped him reach to the dining as Kyne pulled a chair for him and I helped him sit comfortably.
"It smells delicious," Taylor joked.
"Food tastes delicious doesn't smell..."
"Leave it," I said before Kyne would finish his sentence.
"Help him with the napkin," Kyne said as I looked at Taylor for any reaction.
"I can help myself but thanks," Taylor said. I then helped serve him before sitting in my own chair between the two boys.
"Thanks," he said.
We were silent as Tay broke the silence.
"Kyne, how are you?"
"Fine, just that you gave me a headache by spending nights awake," Kyne smirked.
"Not as if I spent many days there," Tay pointed out.
"You don't know how I got sick still," Kyne said.
"Siblings," I said shaking my head as if disappointed. But a tear betrayed my eye by escaping. Good enough they can't see me. I was thinking of how it could be if my twin sister was there!
"So, is she your girlfriend?" Taylor asked pointing his fork at me.
"No, she's Beth, my friend," I shrugged.
"Oh! Zach's daughter right?" He asked doubtfully.
"Yes,"
"Thanks for the food," Taylor said.
"You didn't even eat! " Kyne said.
"Just leave him," I shrugged.
"Ah! You guys I better go home it's late," I said looking on my wrist watch.
"I am accompanying you," Kyne said.
"It's just next door," I complained.
"You got no choice then,"
"I will go alone,"
"You don't even no you're in danger! Am protecting you," he smiled at me.
"From who? I should be protecting myself from you! Considering the bitches are on me," I said laughing.
"You got no choice then. I protect you from the dogs and bit..."
"We go, we go," I said raising my hands in the air.
"Take these," I said giving him the car keys, "bring it for me tomorrow," I shrugged.
"No problem," he said taking the keys from me. He then accompanied me up to my porch.
"Take care and sleep tight," he said touching in his pants' pockets
"Same," I said getting inside the house. I then switched on the lights and went upstairs to my room. I removed my hoodie and threw myself on the bed as thoughts took me. All I could think is Kyne being my boyfriend but who am I kidding! He's searched not searching.
"Stop thinking that shit Beth!" I scolded myself.
