Chatteres and claps filled the hall as Shaurya cut the cake while holding Manjiri's hand. Everyone cheered. Both seemed to be contemplating whether or not to feed each other. But at the behest of everyone, they both at last hesitantly fed each other.
After greeting a few relatives and guests, Shaurya made his way to the stage along with Manjiri where they were congratulated by some more guests. When his friends approached them, he introduced her to all and she too greeted them warmly.
Shaurya couldn't help admiring his wife, well she's surprising him a lot today. But he won't deny that there was also a doubt in his mind that when they'll get back to the normal routine after this party, this smiling Manjiri will be gone. And he'll be only left with the nervous, confused and sad Manjiri..... Thinking of this, he mentally sighed. At one moment he was thinking this and in the other he smiled helplessly at the memory of Manjiri clutching his hand tightly.
He turned his face to look her but he found her glancing somewhere else. He tried to follow her glance, and saw that his Dadi was conversing with Manjiri in some gestures from far. He observed that whenever she talks with her, her face looks unworried. Clearing his throat in order to gain her attention, he spoke to her calmly
"If you want we both can go there... or can call her here..."
She looked at him and shook her head saying,
"No it's fine...don't bother yourself and her."
He nodded in response and stared at her face with an unexplored feeling in his heart. Both could feel the increasing intensity between them, on realizing something she immediately diverted her gaze as his intense gaze was intolerable to her. Her extreme shyness brought a slight sweet smile on his face. He wispers to himself amusingly while shaking his head,
"This naïve girl is too hard to handle..."
His thoughts came to halt when he heard Ved adressing everyone holding a mic in his hand......

"You may not be happy today but eventually you will be........"
" Greetings everyone! On behalf of the Mohan family, I , Ved would firstly like to acknowledge your presence in the function. I know we've some guests who have traveled far just to join us in our happiness today. Thank you all for coming and I hope you all are having a wonderful evening.
Moving forward, well it's hard for me to find the right words to express the depths of my feelings but still I really want to make a try.....I'd like to begin by taking a few moments in talking about the newly weds Shaurya and my dear Manjiri, whom Shri and I call 'Miru' lovingly.
Shaurya, my brother, in the memory of the years we spent together...my heart is filled with unspeakable pride. I'm proud of you and all you've accomplished. We have countless good memories of growing up together, and now I wish that you make beautiful memories with my Miru. And I firmly believes that you'll always give her the happiness she needs in her life. So prove me right. Ok?"
Taking a sigh, he smiled and continued
"I can still remember the day when a girl hardly of 16 or 17, asked me a hundred questions concerningly in one go when she was informed that her Dii will going to marry me. And that girl wearing a school dress was none other than my Miru....With time she made a special place in my heart and we both became each other's biggest cheer leaders. Though I won't deny that at times her pranks and awful jokes were headache to me. I always tried to treat her the same way that Shri did and will always do....And I promise you Miru I'll never step back from loving, caring and supporting you.
And today I'm glad to celebrate your arrival in our family.
At last, wishing you both a lifetime of happiness and togetherness. Cherish every moment of your new life together....

Hearing Ved Manjiri's eyes brimmed with tears, she tried to blink them away but couldn't. She wiped her tears using her fingertips.
After concluding the speech, Ved made his way to Shaurya and Manjiri. When he reached there Manjiri hugged him tightly. Seeing her clung to him like a small baby, he too wrapped his hands around her. Adishri's eyes were moist too. Whereas Shaurya just stared at Ved-Manjiri's sweet bond smilingly.....

"If I could have just one dance with you, I would pick a song that never ends........"
"That was amazing right!....At our reception also, we'll ask Ved Bhai only to deliver the speech."
Dev said this to Sameeksha while grinning. To which she countered saying while holding back her smile
"Why not...in your wildest dreams."
"Man!... Sam you're still angry about that little thing. Right?"
To this Sam offered him an expression which she usually uses to ward off unwanted attention and questions. But obviously Dev was not the one to be so easily shooed off. So he grabbed her hand and said
"Alright! I'm terribly sorry my queen..."
"Mr. Butler I'm very happy to inform you that you're not forgiven. ...so just take off your dirty hands."
She hissed while gritting her teeth. To which he immediately replied still holding her hand
"You know what Sam...you're stubborn as hell..... Now drop these tantrums and let's go and dance."
"And guess what Dev you're dumb as hell... Just leave my hand or else I'll dial the number of women helpline. So shoo ..."
He rolled his eyes in disbelief after hearing her. He stated
"Miss Nanda never misunderstand that I've only you to dance with...now just see how I dance with the most beautiful lady out here and set the stage on fire."
He left saying this. While she knit her eyebrows thinking of the possibility that who can it be.

Soon the lights went off and a song started playing loudly. Everyone cheered and clapped as soon as Dev started dancing with Dadi on 'Tareefan' and 'Swag se Swaagat'.
And once in between the dance he offered Sameeksha a teasing look and this time she couldn't hold back her smile. Dadi's cute expressions were undoubtedly winning hearts. Indeed their performance was really cute and enjoyable.

All of a sudden Dev came to Sameeksha. Grabbing her hand, he dragged her to the dance floor. As the song started, they moved their bodies with the beats while holding each other.

The song ended and another song started playing. And this time Ved brought Adishri to the dance floor. He twirled her around and then they both moved together with the flow of the song.

" Dearest you,
Feel free to amaze me......."
I'm stuck in a situation where I can neither deny this nor accept this wholeheartedly. Why do I have always have to be in such awkward situations??
So the thing is everyone is insisting us for couple dance. And I don't want to dance...How can I do a couple dance that to in front of so many people. No way!!!
I tried making many excuses but no one listened to me...not even once. Uff! With a great difficulty I convinced myself and made my way to the center of the dance floor. The crowd hooted and clapped. I prayed to God that hopefully this all ends soon.
Suddenly everything got darken and a bollywood track started playing. Oh I know this song... Its... but hardly had I tried remembering what song it is when all of a sudden spotlight directly fell on us. I upped my lashes when I felt Shaurya intertwining my one hand with his. His other hand snaked my waist pulling me closer to him.
A shiver ran throughout my body. Oh! I can sense my heart drumming loudly in my chest. Trust me I've never felt this awkward and nervous before as I'm feeling now. At this moment I just want to disappear somewhere. This closeness is messing me now. Is he also getting affected by this closeness??
To know my answer I really want to look at his face now, but I'm hell nervous and hesitant to look at him. Moreover, I can't deny this that as soon as my eyes will meet his, whatever confidence which is still left in me will also be gone. So it would be better if I don't look at him.
Moving me with the beats and observing my expressions closely, he tightened his hold on me.
