"So you have a lot of questions and I have to answer them right now. Am I right Daniel?" Fisher smiled.

"Isn't it natural, Fisher?" I said.

"Ok, Ok, ask your questions one by one. I will try my best to answer them." He said.

"How did you know that there could be any document with that man, who died yesterday?"

"Umm...It was just a guess Daniel, nothing much. When I looked into his eyes I felt the fear he had. The fear of death! So I assumed that he is not one of them. Means not one of the members of our persecutor's gang. So it's natural for a person with a fear of death to have a diary or something like that to note down some last chapters of his own life." He explained.

"The same as what Anne Frank did?" I asked.

"Exactly!" He said.

"Ok. Second question. You requested Harrison to deploy some of his men in front of our house before we left for the interrogation session. You knew that something was going to happen. Didn't you?"

"Yes, I did."

"But how?"

"Well, when I was returning back from the police station I noticed that old man who was following me the previous day. He was keeping an eye on all the activities happening in our house from his hideout. He did not escape my eyes, however. But till then I didn't know why he was doing so. Like there was a reason that he kept an eye on our house so that he could inform our activities to his boss. But my suspicion grew stronger because at that time there was none of us inside the house. So why he was still gazing at that house? Is there anything important for him or his band inside that house? Suddenly I remembered your words that you had found a diary in the victim's pocket. Immediately I understood that the diary is a special thing and it needs protection. Therefore, I asked Harrison to deploy some constables for guarding our house, or better I say guarding that diary."

"Okay! That's why when the body arrived at the police station you just checked whether your assumption of false beard and mustache is right or wrong by pulling it." I said.

"Correct," he agreed.

"Now, what made you so sure that Charles would not have survived if he had followed the route directed by our persecutor?"

"That's simple. A hired shooter is only hired for his job to shoot someone. His job is over as soon as he shoots, and he is no longer in contact with his client. So it's very unnatural that a client is deciding how to escape from the crime spot for the shooter. Plus I believe that the persecutor is trying to remove all those persons who are being used by him for threatening or contacting us by any means so that there will be no living clue to get to him. According to this theory, Charles may have suffered the same fate as the previous victim if he had taken that path." He stated.

"You surprise me every time with your theories and assumptions Fisher." I laughed. "You said that you wanted the diary to be guarded. That means there is no doubt that the man with that get-up and the man who attacked you both wanted to retrieve the diary from you. But where is it now? Did the mastermind take it with him?"

"Nopes."

"What? So where is it?"

"It is still there where you kept it yesterday morning." Fisher smiled.

"What does that mean? You had taken that diary with you in your room. How did it return to its previous place?" I exclaimed.

"Well actually, I forgot to take it with me when I entered my room. But that mistake gave us a huge advantage. We still have that diary with us, Daniel.  And I bet that diary is a key to the solution of this case." Fisher said this with some excitement.

"But Fisher, he could have searched the whole house for that diary. Why didn't he do that?"

"Probably he didn't get much time. Perhaps he was about to search when you returned from your walk. So he had to escape at the same time. But still, the diary is not safe inside our house. Daniel, once you get out of this hospital, the first thing you will do is bringing that diary here. I have to read it as soon as possible. Don't forget to use police guards on your way back here with that diary to ensure your safety."

"Okay. I will. But how did they know that we have the diary?"

"Probably their spy saw you take out the diary from the victim's pocket and reported this to the mastermind," Fisher stated.

"Hmm...that's possible," I said. "Now, let's come to the main topic. Did you read those books?" I asked.

"Yes."

"Did you get anything from them?"

"Anything? Daniel, I got too many things from that. But this is something which Harrison should also listen so please call him inside." he said.

When I went outside in the passage of the hospital, I saw Harrison speaking with someone over the phone. He was too excited. When he saw me, I just signaled him to come inside and again went inside the room. After a few seconds, Harrison entered the room.

"So Inspector Harrison, I hope you remembered the emails which the guardians received after their wards were killed. So there was a book mentioned in that email named 'Revenge'. I brought that book from the library to read because I doubted that maybe there is a connection between this case and these books. Now the summary of the book is..."

After that what Fisher said was something like this :

'The story is about a man named Robert who became a serial killer due to depression. The cause of his depression was the death of his wife and two sons due to a car accident. After that accident, he became completely lonely because it was only his family that he loved the most. For months, he cried and cursed himself because he couldn't save them. And after that what he became was a nightmare for the city people. On every Wednesday, he performed three perfect murders through car accidents by various means. Even the police couldn't understand whether it was a murder or just an accident. The plans were so foolproof. After committing seventy-six murders suddenly he disappeared one day. The police weren't even able to trace him after that. One thing which the police found was that the sum of the ages of the dead family members of that person was exactly the same as the number of murders done by him. It was seventy-two!'

Our words were thin on the ground after hearing this summary.

Fisher broke the awkward silence and said, "So it's clear that Robert is being portrayed by our persecutor. The only difference is that Tarantula bites replaced car accidents here. I am hundred and one percent sure that our persecutor too had a family. But his family died because of Tarantula bites. Maybe he had read this novel before or after that incident. Finding the whole story relatable to his current situation and due to his deep grief because of his huge loss, he followed the footsteps of the 'Robert' character in the story."

"So now the motive of our persecutor is clear for us. But the question is thirteen had already gone. Furthur another batch of thirteen will be gone soon according to the email. But what after that? I guess he had two children of the same age which is thirteen but he might have a wife too. Which brings us to the question: how many more are coming?"

"Nice analysis, Daniel. But..."

"Excuse me, Daniel," Fisher was interrupted by Harrison. "It is already gone. Already the second batch of thirteen kids was kidnapped from several locations across the United Kingdom. But this time all were kidnapped from their own house while other members were sleeping. You saw me talking on the phone, Daniel. I learned all about this from that call. There are some more pieces of information which I got and I think I should share with you two..."
