After the long waited update, it is here.
Jun set down the groceries, "Okay, July 6th at 9pm? Thank you so much." she set her phone down, grabbing the ends of the counter and squeezing tightly. Three days. She sucked in a deep breath, holding it for a moment before letting it out slowly. What the fuck. She thought, keeping her head down. Katsuki and Jun never even spoke about kids, yeah, there were comments made back in high school about wanting children when they were older, but that was five years ago. You were both still children, dreaming of your future. She was trying her best to hold back her tears, her hands turning white from gripping the counter so tightly. I need to stay calm.
Katsuki was working his way up Best Jeanist's agency, he's one of the best hero's to come out of UA, and with his explosive personality, it was hard to keep him out of the spotlight. Especially since he's always at Best Jeanist's side. Would a baby damper his goal of taking over the agency? Would this be too much for the both of them to take in? Not to mention Jun was at the peak of her streaming career, even though she won't sign a contract to any record agency, she was still big on Youtube and often got invited to some concerts across Japan to sing with fellow artist. Jun's eyes met her stomach, there wasn't a noticeable difference, of course, she had to be only one to two months along.
Jun pushed herself off the counter, walking over to the full length mirror in their living room, her eyes roamed her body, setting her hands on her stomach as she turned from left to right, imaging what she would look like with a swollen stomach, even lifting her shirt, pushing her stomach out as much as she could to help her picture it. Jun shook her head, dropping her shirt.
"Oh shit, the milk," Jun quickly went to the kitchen, putting the cold items into the fridge. Looking at the time, she decided to go ahead and start dinner. Any other day, she would hope that Katsuki would be able to get off on time, but thinking of how she was going to break the news to Katsuki was becoming unbearable. "Alexa, play something." Low rock music started to play in the background as she grabbed the ingredients to make curry. She noticed her phone light up, looking over to see that Mina was facetiming her. She answered the call, looking at the screen to see her face was the only thing she could see. Mina was sticking her tongue out, nostrils flared before she burst out laughing.
"Hey! I'm outside!"
"Come on in, you know the codes," Jun smiled back at her. Only seconds passed when there was a few beeps, then the door opening.
"Oohhh, making curry? Please tell me you're making a separate pot for Bakugou. I don't want to open your private story to see you crying over your ass being lit on fire."
Jun couldn't help but laugh, setting her clean vegetables on the counter, getting a knife out of the drawer. Mina went ahead and washed her hands, grabbing another knife to help Jun cut the vegetables. "Are you planning on staying for dinner?"
"pleaasseeee," she replied, sticking her bottom lip out. Mina never got the hang of cooking herself, she always tries to multitask, or she cooks it for too long or too little and ruins nearly everything she makes, besides a bowl of cereal.
You two were nearly done with the prepping, giving the dog, Hades small pieces of carrots along the way. Jun could feel the news eating her up inside, she was about to speak when Mina spoke up.
"Jun, is everything okay? You're acting off, we usually can't shut up and you're.. quiet." she stated as she grabbed the carrots, putting it into the bowl. Jun let out a sigh, setting the knife down.
"I'm pregnant." She said bluntly, looking up at Mina. The pink girls eye's went wide, a squeal escaping her lips as she ran over to Jun, hugging her tightly.
"Oh my god Jun! That's amazing! I'm so happy for you!" She continued to act cheerful until she seen that Jun's eyes started to water. "Jun? Are you not excited?" she asked, taking a step back, her hands were still on her arms, holding them firmly.
"Katsuki and I never even spoke about kids, is he even ready? Am I ready? We're still so young, what if Katsuki wanted to wait until we are older? How are his fans going to act? I already get death threats daily just because we're married."
Mina let out a sigh, wrapping her arms around Jun again. Jun couldn't even hold back her tears as she buried her face in Mina's neck. Mina knew you so well, she knew you just need to cry it out before she could even speak. She's been one of her best friends since middle school. After a few minutes, Jun pulled back, wiping her tears with her palms.
"I know it's too late to ask, but have you been using some kind of protection?" Jun shook her head, "Well, the thought probably crossed Katsuki's mind, he isn't stupid. But the only way to find out what he thinks, you need to tell him. He isn't the same Katsuki back in high school, well, he is but he doesn't act that way around you. He's more calm and caring." Jun was still silent, only nodding in response. "How about this, instead of cooking we order some pizza and just relax."
"Yeah, that sounds great." she smiled,
"Now here, take my phone and order off the app. Go sit down, I'll clean up."
"Mina you don't have to."
"nu-uh, nope, go sit down. I got this."
"Thank you bestie," Jun replied, taking the phone. Jun walked quickly to the couch, grabbing the blanket to cover her legs. Unlocking the phone, she pulled up the app and went to the previous order, her eyes widening when she noticed Mina has ordered from this place for the last week. Please, someone teach this girl how to cook. She thought, deciding to create a whole new order. Two pizzas, and sixteen wings later, the order was placed and Jun was now waiting for Mina to sit down to play a movie.
They ended up watching the movie Grown Ups, the comedy distracting Jun, as well as giving her some kind of relief. Mina didn't want to think too much of the fetus in her bestfriends stomach, but if everything did go great, then she didn't want her to stress so much that it would cause complications.
"What the hell is pinky doing here?" Katsuki asked as he walked in the door, the movie was now over, they were both asleep on the couch a pizza box and wings in between both of them. Hades, was sitting in front of the box, whining at the two sleeping women in hopes of getting some too. "Tch." Bakugou muttered as he grabbed the box, looking at the plain cheese pizza. "You don't need this shit," he said to the dog. He could hear Hades nails clacking against the wooden floor, following behind him as he continued to beg.
Bakugou turned on his heal, holding his hand in gun. He watched as the dog got up on his hind legs, "Bang!" the dog fell back, playing dead, but eyes still on Bakugou as he waited for his treat. The blonde chuckled as he grabbed a slice of pizza, holding it out for him to take. He put the pizza away, grabbing the hot sauce to douse the wings in. He ate them in peace, popping the last bit into his mouth as he grabbed a water from the fridge, drinking the whole bottle. He was thankful that no villains showed today, it was a nice night and he took a few pictures with fans, even used his quirk to show the children fireworks. But he was more thankful to be home, even if pinky was there. He washed his hands, throwing the trash away before he made his way back to his sleeping wife and friend.
He looked at Jun, smiling when he noticed her mouth was agape and a small bit of drool was falling down her chin, soft snores leaving her lips. She wasn't the classic sleeping beauty, but every time he looked at her he fell in love all over again. He was truly happy with her. Jun was able to help him through his anxiety and while it was still bad at times, she knew exactly how to calm him down, even when he had nightmares, she would find him in their massive bed and still gave him the comfort he needed. Bakugou went over to Mina, guiding her down on the couch and covering her full body with the blanket.
"Hades, bed." he muttered, picking his wife up bridal style, following behind Hades into the bedroom.
"Welcome home babe," Jun whispered, grabbing the blanket and pulling it up to her chin. The blond smiled, kissing her forehead.
"Goodnight, I love you."
"I love you," she said in between a yawn, rolling over on her side. Bakugou made sure Hades was on the bed too.
"Shower, then bed." Bakugou mumbled to himself, walking to the bathroom.
Ima be honest, I had no clue how to end this chapter LMAO. But, if anyone was wondering what kind of dog Hades is, he's a black Tosa. I'll put an image below this if you don't know what the dog looks like. :)
