He put his hand in his fist, while his crew got ready for battle behind him.
Mr. 6: Oh, dear. It seems we have company.
Vivi gasped when she saw them.
Vivi: They're Baroque Works agents. Mr. 6 and Ms. Mother's Day.
Ms. Mother's Day: Is that Ms. Wednesday? So you've betrayed us? That's not very nice, sweetie.
Mr. 6: How unfortunate. It appears we must deal with these fools. How did you even find us?
Sanji: There was a trail of bird seeds.
Mr. 6 glared at Ms. Mother's Day, who shrugged.
Luffy: All right. Nami, Usopp, and Chopper, you guys get those handcuffs off of (Y/N). The rest of us will deal with these guys.
Mr. 6: You're making a big mistake. We are not to be underestima—
Suddenly, Sanji kicked Mr. 6 in the face, sending him flying into a nearby tree.
A key flew out of his pocket.
Nami: That must be the key to (Y/N)'s handcuffs!
Usopp: Get it!
Chopper turned into his reindeer form and daughter the key on his antler. He tossed it to Usopp.
Ms. Mother's Day turned and came face-to-face with Zoro.
Ms. Mother's Day: This is so annoying.
She then shrunk. Zoro looked around for her.
(Y/N): She has shrinking powers.
Zoro looked at the ground and saw a tiny Ms. Mother's Day running on the ground. He swung his sword at her.
Ms. Mother's Day returned to her normal size and avoided the swing.
Usopp ran over to (Y/N). He put the key into the handcuffs, unlocking them.
Luffy punched Ms. Mother's Day in the face, while Zoro slashed her across the chest. She spit out blood and crumbled to the ground.
Mr. 6, meanwhile, created an illusion of a naked woman. Sanji's nose squirted out blood as he fainted.
Sanji: <groaning> Beautiful...
Nami/Zoro: Are you serious?!
Mr. 6: Huh, that actually worked. Man's greatest weakness is the female body.
(Y/N) was able to get the handcuffs off of him. He thanked Usopp before turning to look at Mr. 6.
(Y/N): You wanted to know my Devil Fruit, right? I'll show it to you now.
Mr. 6: Oh, shit.
He created the illusion of (Y/N)'s father again. He smirked when he saw (Y/N) step back.
Father: (Y/N)...
Vivi: Is that his dad?
(Y/N) closed his eyes.
Luffy ran towards the illusion and kicked it, causing it to disappear.
Luffy: Go, (Y/N)!
(Y/N) opened his eyes and nodded. He charged straight for Mr. 6.
His arms slowly turned into a swirl of wind.
(Y/N): Storm Punch!
The fists surrounded by swirling cyclones punched Mr. 6 right in the face, sending him up into the air.
(Y/N) jumped up after him and passed him. He looked down at Mr. 6, who was still conscious.
He started falling towards Mr. 6, arms outstretched.
(Y/N): Twisting Storm!
His body became surrounded in swirling wind. His fists hit Mr. 6, sending him crashing into the ground.
(Y/N) landed on his feet and brushed his (H/C) locks out of his face.
Mr. 6 was unconscious on the ground next to Ms. Mother's Day.
(Y/N): I ate the Storm-Storm Fruit. I'm a storm man.
Luffy: Awww that was too easy! Booooo!!
(Y/N): Thank you, everyone.
Vivi helped Sanji up, while everyone else smirked and nodded.
Luffy: So, what do you say? Wanna join my crew?
(Y/N) didn't speak for a while.
Luffy: Well?
A familiar female voice spoke.
Aimi: Yes. He will go with you.
(Y/N): Aimi?
Aimi: <walking over to him> It's time for you to leave this place. The people here may think of you as the man with a devil inside of him, but out there they don't know anything.
She put a hand on his cheek.
Aimi: I've taken care of you all of these years. I've been your only friend. But now you have new ones. And these ones will do way more for you than I ever could. Who cares if you have some devil inside of you? That devil is not who you are. He is not (Y/N). You are (Y/N). Go out to the sea with them. They will take care of you, and you will take care of them.
(Y/N) felt tears stream down his face.
(Y/N): Aimi... Thank you so much for taking care of me. You are my true parent.
Aimi felt her eyes wet. She kissed his forehead.
Aimi: Now pack up your things. You're going to go out with them as a member of the Straw Hat Pirates.
Luffy: <giggles> So you're joining us, (Y/N)?
(Y/N) turned and looked at Luffy. And for the first time in years, he smiled.
(Y/N): Yes, I am.
Luffy pumped his fists.
Luffy: Yahoo!!
The rest of the crew cheered.
Chopper jumped on (Y/N).
Chopper: <sobbing> I'mb so sobby Ib was scarbed of yu!
(Y/N): It's okay.
After that, (Y/N) packed his things with Aimi's help.
After a few days, the ship was as good as new.
The crew stood in front of the Going Merry.
Luffy: Wow, it's back to normal!
Nami: I'm surprised they were able to fix it so fast. I thought for sure it would take at least a week.
She then noticed that Sanji had a huge bag next to him.
Nami: What's that?
Sanji: Oh, did I a little shopping. Since we have a new crew member, I'll need more ingredients and snacks.
Aimi giggled while she stood next to a man with dirty clothes. He was cleaning his glasses with a towel.
Aimi: This is my friend, Stoman. He fixed your ship for you.
Usopp bowed before him and thanked him.
Stoman: That's a little too much there, young fellow. It was no problem. My team is one of the best in the Grand Line. You should watch this ship though. It can't take a lot more damage and it may not last for long if that happens.
Luffy: Thanks, old guy! Come on, guys, let's go!
Stoman: Well, there is still the matter of your payment.
The crew froze in their tracks.
Zoro: Uh, oh.
Nami: <quietly> Just ignore the crazy, old man and keep going. Just keep going. Just keep going.
Aimi: Oh, don't charge them, Stoman. They helped (Y/N) and I out.
Stoman: I don't know...
Aimi kissed Stoman on the lips.
Stoman: <blushing> Well, all right then! Safe travels, friends!
Luffy: Thanks, lady!
Nami: We're saved!! Thank you so much, Aimi-san!
As the crew boarded the Going Merry, (Y/N) said goodbye to Aimi.
(Y/N): Thank you again for everything, Aimi.
Aimi: You're welcome, (Y/N). This is your chance to make new bonds. I know they will be great friends. Just... keep it away. Try not to use its power.
(Y/N): I'll try. It can get really hard.
Aimi: I know it can, but you're a strong man now, (Y/N). You're not the little kid I found on the streets anymore. You've all grown up. And now you've found the friends that you've always wanted. Now, go on. It's time for you to leave.
(Y/N) hugged Aimi one last time before walking onto the Going Merry. He waved goodbye as it left Gravebone Island's shore.
Once at sea, Luffy studied (Y/N) intently.
(Y/N): May I help you?
Luffy: Hmm...
Usopp: What's up with you, Luffy?
Luffy: I'm trying to think of (Y/N)'s job on our crew. Every crew member has a certain job.
Nami: Does it really matter? Who cares?
Luffy: I do! We're going to be the most famous pirate crew in history so we better have our own jobs so people who do those jobs will look up to us as idols.
(Y/N): A job, then? Hmm... How about boatswain?
Luffy: <confused> Bo... sun?
(Y/N): Yes. Boatswain.
Luffy: What's a boatswain?
Nami: Seriously, how are you a pirate captain and don't know what "boatswain" is?
Luffy still had a confused look on his face.
(Y/N): It's basically a ship's officer who is in charge of the equipment and sometimes the crew.
Luffy: Whatever. You can be that.
(Y/N) smiled a little, before walking over to the railing of the ship. He looked at the water.
(Y/N) (L/N): Age 29, Boatswain of the Straw Hat Pirates
Vivi: All right. I think we can finally get to Alabasta.
(Y/N): That's right. You want to go to Alabasta. Why?
Vivi: It's a long story, but I suppose there's time to tell it.
The Going Merry sailed off towards Alabasta with a new crew member on it.
