Kageyama took the piece of candy and watched as Hinata squished his between his fingers.
"What's wrong?" Kageyama asked worriedly.
Hinata let out a sigh.
"Nothing, my body just feels weird, " he said quietly.
"At least we can go home tomorrow, " Kageyama replied, hoping it would help Hinata feel better.
Hinata nodded and tried to give Kageyama a smile. He ate a few more gummies before deciding that he could no longer stay awake and laid down.
Kageyama sat the bag with the remaining buns and candy on the chair by the bed and laid down next to Hinata.

Kageyama had wrapped his arms as tight as he could around Hinata. His anxiety and worry were finally leaving and allowing him to relax. There was. However, there was one worry plaguing his mind, Hinata's uncle.
He worried that he'd die and that they would arrest him for his death, forcing him to leave Hinata. The thought made his stomach churn.
"What's wrong?" Hinata asked, his voice muffled by Kageyama's chest.
"Nothing, " Kageyama replied and ran his fingers through Hinata's tangled hair.
"Your scent is off, " Hinata said quietly and pushed himself away from Kageyama enough to look into his eyes.
"Don't worry about it, " Kageyama replied, trying not to become annoyed.
Hinata Nuzzled his face back into Kageyama's chest.
"I had a strange dream during the surgery, " he said quietly.
"About what?" Kageyama asked as he pulled Hinata's body closer to his.
"We were playing Volleyball, but we were on different teams. It was weird, " Hinata replied.
Kageyama wasn't exactly sure how to feel about that.
"That won't happen, " he said and kissed the top of Hinata's head.
Hinata didn't say anything; his eyes and body were no longer able to fight the sleep that had taken over. Kageyama nuzzled his face into Hinata's hair and tried to fall asleep.
The next morning there was a knock followed by the sound of footsteps coming into the rook. Kageyama, who hadn't really slept, sat up to see Kiko with a tray to take blood from Hinata.
"Good morning, " she said and walked to the side of the bed and started at the still. Sleeping Hinata.
"I need to take his blood before they release him, " she said Empathetically and glanced at Kageyama.
Kageyama nudged Hinata to wake him up. Hinata. Hinata sat up and rubbed his eyes. He looked up to Kiko, who gave him a smile and pointed to his arm. Hinata stretched his arm out to her and sighed.
"This is the last one, I promise, " she said as she wrapped a band around Hinata's bicep and searched for a vein.
"When can I go home?" Hinata asked as he watched the need go into his skin.
"After we get these results back. Probably within an hour." Kiko replied as she removed the needle and grabbed the vials of blood.
"The doctor will come in with some. papers for you to sign, " she said and headed out of the door.
Hinata sat there quietly for a moment holding his arm.
"Does ot hurt?" Kageyama asked and positioned himself behind Hinata, so he was sitting in between his legs.
"No, I was just thinking, " Hinata replied and rested his head back against Kageyama's chest.
"When we get home, can we take a bath and play volleyball?" He asked as he felt Kageyama loop his arms around his waist.
"Mhm, " Kageyama hummed in response and rested his head on top of Hinata's.
"You didn't sleep well last night, huh?" Hinata asked as he noticed that Kageyama's breathing was heavy, and his body weight seemed heavy as he leaned on him.
Before Kageyama could say anything, the door to the room open. Kageyama lifted his head and saw Kiko along with the doctor and one police officer. Suddenly he felt his heart drop onto his stomach as he waited for one of them to speak. He tightened his arms around Hinata's waist and took a breath.
"Hinata's uncle had a heart attack this morning and passed away, " Kiko said as she looked down at the floor, somewhat nervous.
The officer looked at Kageyama.
"You are off the hook, however. There is a possibility His family may want to pursue some sort of justice since you attacked him.
Kageyama felt some relief for a moment at those words.
"He's dead?" the question from Hinata seemed foreign. Like he wasn't asking as much as he was clarifying with traces of relief in his voice.
The doctor walked over to the bed with a clipboard in hand. He handed it to Hinata.
"I just need you to sign this; then you are free to go, " He said with a smile and turned to walk away.
"You can stay in here until someone comes to pick you up, " Kiko said, sounding happy.
"You have been one of my favorite patients that I've had, " she said and turned to follow the doctor out the of the room.
Kageyama rested his head back on top of Hinata's head. All of his worries about Hinata and his uncle and everything were finally leaving him to relax.
"Shouldn't we call our parents?" Hinata asked.
"Suga and Daichi are back home, " Kageyama replied, his voice showing signs of his fatigue.
Hinata laughed a little and reached over to the table by the bed for Kageyama's phone.
"I'll call your mom, " he said and searched for the contact. He dialed it and waited for someone to answer. After a few rings, he heard the sound of Kageyama's mom. After he had talked to her for a few minutes, he hung up and realized that Kageyama had completely fallen asleep on him.
He let out a sigh, knowing that he couldn't wake up, so he was now stuck in that position.
He sat there quietly, allowing Kageyama to sleep before he heard the door open and saw his mom come in.
"Ready?" Kageyama's mom asked as she stared at the two on the bed.
Hinata moved and made Kageyama wake up.
Kageyama opened his eyes to see his mom. He looked a around for a moment, realizing that it was time to go. He got up off the bed along with Hinata. His eyes scanned the room for their things, finally landing on the backpack from the zoo and reminding him to look for the stuffed animals they had gotten. He spotted the panther and the lion on the bed and grabbed them. He put them into the backpack.
Hinata grabbed onto Kageyama's hand, and the two of them followed Kageyama's mom out of the room. The three of them were quiet as they headed to the elevator and went down to the main floor, finally making their way out of the hospital and to the parking lot, where they headed to Kageyama's parent's car where his dad and Hinata's mom were waiting.
