**Double Update**
Here is the other chapter I promised for..! I hope you all will be satisfied with this..!
Kong's POV
We were now sure that he is the one.. He stopped in front of the factory.. we have already alerted Tew and others about his arrival and stopped far away so that he won't be able to see us.. we slowly walked into the factory.
"Tew.. what is the status inside.?" I asked him.
"He is searching for his men.. I guess he doubts something.. so he has taken out his gun already." Tew told..
"Should we come inside.?" Em asked.
"No.. wait.. I guess he is coming out." Wad responded.
"Let us hide behind the fence." I said. Both me and Em rushed and hid behind the fence on either side of his vehicle.
"Kong, Em.. he coming out.. may be he already got a hunch.. you both got to stop him.. we are behind." P'Knot said.
"Khab P.." We replied.
"Em.. be alert and let me try stopping him.." I said. I put my gun behind and took a alcohol bottle which was there beside me.. I walked forward like I got a little drunk.. That was when he came out..
"Who are you and what are you doing here..?" He asked me.
"I.. am.. a.. human. Don't.. you.. know.. that.." I said with a few hic ups in between. "And.. I.. am.. drinking.. here." I added.
"What a drunkard..?!" He said with complete irritation.
"Kong.. is that you..?" I heard a girls voice.. It was Boom.. shit.. and she is too close to that culprit.
"Kong.. it is really you.. but you have high alcohol tolerance..? What made you get so drunk.?" She said as she walked towards me from beside him.. He immediately pulled her and held a gun to her head. She screamed because of fear..
"Let me go.. Kong.. help me." She shouted for me. Em was about to attack him from behind but the culprit felt him.. and made Em to drop him gun down..
"Relax.. let her go.. she is innocent.." I tried to calm him down..
"Let me go.. only then will I leave her." He said.
"Okay.. you can go.. but leave her." I replied.
"Kong.. don't trust him.. criminals use it as a key.. he won't leave her." Tew said. I knew that but what should I do.. I can't let him nor make him stay.. I was thinking of ways..
"Make Noise" I whispered as I looked around a little.
"Move behind.." The culprit shouted.. that was when Tew made some noise because of which he looked towards it..
"BOOM DUCK.." I shouted and threw the bottle I was holding.. Boom managed to duck and the bottle hit the culprits forehead making him to fall down.. Boom rushed to me while Em held him on ground.. Tew and others also came and held him..
"Boom.. you are fine right..? What the hell are you doing here at this time alone." I shouted at her.
"You are here.. you are really here." She said and hugged me as she sobbed.
"I WILL KILL YOU.." The culprit shouted.. I looked at the direction.. he shot the bullet.. I pushed Boom away and the bullet passed through my shoulder.. it did not hit me completely.. P'Knot immediately has hit him and took away the Gun.. I looked at Boom.. she was still on ground..
"Boom.. you are fine right..?" I asked as I helped her get up.. she had some scratches.. she held me tightly..
"It's okay.. it's okay.. he won't harm us anymore." I assured her.
"Kong.. let us go back to the office.. and bring her also.. she needs to give her statement.. she is a victim.." Em said. I looked at Boom..
"Boom.." I called her.
"I will come.. but you will be there right.?" She asked me. I nodded my head.
P'Knot informed about the incident to captain.. they asked us to come to the office. No one has noticed that I was hurt yet..
"Ma'am.. please get in the car.. you will have to come to the office." Em said.
"No.. I will come with Kong." She said.. Em looked at me with concerned eyes. I nodded my head assuring him that it was okay.
"Get the bike... I will go in the car with her." I said as I gave the keys to Em. He and Tew came on the bike while I, Boom, Wad and P'Knot went in one car and the others in another car along with the culprit.
Boom hugged me as soon as we sat down in the car.. she held my hand tightly with the fear of me leaving her.
"Your girlfriend.?" P'Knot asked.
"No P.. " I said. He looked at me..
"He is my best friend.. he left without a word more than a year ago.. this is the first time I am seeing him after that." Boom said with anger in her voice.
"Oh.. we don't know much.. we just met him 2days ago.. I am sorry if we were being nosy.." P'Knot said.
"You Idiot.. where did you go.. why did you leave like that.. just because of those two stupids.. you left everyone of us.. do you know how much I and Bayo cried.. how much Joss and Lee searched for you.. we even begged your parents.. but they were hell bend and stubborn.. they did not care and your sister won't tell us anything." He exclaimed and kept on hitting me..
"Boom.. please stop.. we will talk later.. not now.." I tried to calm her.. she leaned on to my shoulder as she calmed down..
"I was scared.. I thought it was the end.." She said.
"You are fine.. and safe.. nothing will happen.." I assured her.
Soon we reached the office.. They took Boom to the private room.. Em pulled me out..
"Your fine right..? Will you be able to talk to her.?" He asked me..
"I am fine.. it was sudden.. but it's okay.. but I don't want to talk to her right now.. will you take her statement later.?" I asked him.
"Relax.. I will take it.. but before that.. we will have to take the statement of the culprit." Em said. I nodded my head. My hand was hurting but I chose to keep quite.. we walked back to the room where Boom was there.
"Kong.." She called for me as soon as I went in..
"Boom.. I want you to relax here.. we will take the statement of the culprit and return.. Okay.?" I said as I sat in front of her.
"You are not going to hide from me.." She said sternly..
"Okay.. but we will talk afterwards.. here.. I am for work.. is it okay.?" I said. She nodded her head. I smiled and stood up..
"Miss.. if you need anything.. please let any of these two know.. " Em said point at May and Maprang who just came.
"Khab thank you." Boom replied.
"I will see you later." I said and walked out along with Em.
"Kong.. Em.. let us interrogate and the statement from the culprit." Tew called us. Other officer were already there behind the glass while I, Tew, and Em entered the interrogation room.
"All the best.." Tew and Em said as we entered. I sat to one corner.. Em was to the other while Tew sat in the center facing the culprit..
Our guess was right.. he was Kukrit.. the one we suspected.
"So Kukrit.. why did you do this.?" Tew ask him..
"How do you know my name.?" He asked back. He seemed to be unstable.. both from emotions and brain.
"You don't get to ask.." Em replied.
"Then neither do you." He retorted with a high pitch.
"We investigated you.." I replied. Tew and Em were looking at me.
"Now.. that I answered your question.. tell me the answer to our question. Why did you do all this.. what would you get by sacrificing the innocent animals.?" I asked him.
"I heard if we sacrifice them.. I can get back my girlfriend." He said.
"Where did you get that information from.?" Tew asked.
"I saw online.. I won't let her go. She is mine.. I want her." He shouted.
"Were you both in a relation.?" Em asked.
"No. I was about to ask her.. when someone else asked her out and she went away with him. So I read that if I sacrificed these things I will get her." He exclaimed.
"But you.. you spoiled everything.. " He said glaring at me.. he was becoming unstable. His was shouting in anger.
"Kong.. come out.. you are triggering his emotions." P'Knot said. I nodded my head and joined them outside.
"Love makes people do shit.." Captain Arthit commented. Everyone looked at him with pity sight. Maybe he faced something.. but what he said isn't completely true.
"Love doesn't make people do shit.. but people do shit in the name of love." I said.
"What do you mean.?" He asked me. If looks can kill.. I would have been dead with the way he was glaring at me
"People do shit in the name of love Captain.. take him for example.. the person doesn't love him.. it was only from his side according to what he said.. but he was so obsessed that he wanted her.. We might want the person we love Captain.. but we might not love the person we want. There is a lot of difference.. " I said looking into his eyes.
"And P.. if one really loves a person.. then that person will be ready to take all the pain for them.. even if the other cheats.. we will just leave from there without a word.. we might be hurt.. we might hate the other.. we might even want to kill.. but at last.. we end up saying them to do whatever that makes them happy." I added looking back at Em and Tew who were interrogating.
"How do you say so..? Are you love Kong.?" Oak asked.
"I was.. and I faced it. But if you ask me if I still love that person.. than no.. though I wish happiness.. doesn't mean I forget what happened.. That person doesn't deserve our love.. and there would be someone out there.. who would deserve it truthfully." I chose to say.
Soon the interrogation was done and statement was taken from both Kukrit and Boom.. The police arrived and took away Kukrit.. I and Em were walking towards Boom..
"Kong.. you are hurt.." Em said suddenly.. That was when I remembered that the bullet did pass through by skin.. He immediately rolled up my sleeves..
"The bullet hit you right..?" Em exclaimed as he saw it..
"Relax Em.. it did not pass through in between my arm.. only the skin part.." I said trying to take my hand away from his grip..
"Shut up.. Come with me. Tew get the first aid box" He said and pulled me into the private room where Boom was waiting and made me sit.
"Kong.. you are hurt.." Boom said as she saw my hand..
"Here first aid kit.." Tew said. Everyone were looking at me..
"Let me do it.. I am a doctor." Boom said and took the first aid box.
"So.. you became a doctor finally.." I said as she started treating me.
"Yes.. and you did become a detective like you always dreamt of." She said to which I smiled.
"Bayo, Joss and Lee are coming." She said. I froze.. and immediately snapped at her.
"Boom.. please.. I am not ready to talk about it." I said with a low voice.
"Please Kong.. we are sorry.. I know even we were wrong.. but please let us explain and talk.. I did not tell Stud or P'Nat.. it is only us." She pleaded.
"I don't know completely.. but Kong.. talk it out.." Em said. I looked at him.. he gave me an assuring smile.
"Fine." I said giving in.
I and Boom left afterwards.. the others said that they would leave in a while.. Em took my keys..
"You are not driving with that hand.. call me I will pick you up if needed.." He said sternly.
"We will drop him off.. it won't be a problem." Boom said.
"Thank you Miss.. and Kong.. let me know when you reach home." He said. I nodded my head and left with Boom.
I know I haven't chosen a best case but.. I have made things complicated and interesting in the further parts.. and I can surely say I did try my best..!
