The first day was bad enough due to Amycus Carrow teaching the now called Dark Arts, and today it would be worse, because we're about to have Muggles Studies with his sister, Alecto Carrow, what if it's his sister it either can be like him, or even worse.

I woke up late in that morning, so I had to stand up fastly and run to class before I got late, of course, already everyone was sitting down in the tables, and the only empty place was near Charlotte, right at the first row.

She gave me a thin smile as I sat down besides her, this doesn't mean of course, that I have forgiven her, but I can see she regretted the words she said.

Alecto was just like her brother, waiting impatiently for the students to sat down so she could start her class.

"Good morning students, as you know I'm your new Myggle Studies teacher, due to the other being pathetic and a complete facade that praised the filthy muggles, such thing that ended up in her premature death." As she said these words the all room gasped.

Everyone started gossiping except me and Draco, who were already known of this subject.

"Quiet!" Alecto shouted at the all class, and everybody imediatly went silent. "You will forget everything that mad woman have planted into your heads, and learn about how the Muggles really are." She said as she distributed the books through our tables with nothing but a flick from her wand.

The book wasn't like the others we used to have, the complete opposite to be honest, a blue cover book, with a man like if was about to attack, with this different title "When Muggles Attack" written on it.

"What's this rubbish?" Neville asked abruptly, catching all the attention on him. "Professor Burbage never taught us anything about myggle being vicious and wicked, this is old century stuff I refuse to read this!" He shouted as he stood up from his chair.

"Of course, the famous Neville Longbottom..." Alecto said calmly as she gave slow steps towards Neville. "We have been speaking lots about you Neville, the boy who opposes to our newest regulation over and over." She said firmly, walking in direction to his desk.

Neville's desk was on my side, making me vision of all his face, the cut Amycus did to him still healing, with a few more around his face, but he kept firm in it's place.

"You will learn how to behave, worry not...either in a bad or good way." She said coming to an halt in front of him.

"Let's see how it behaving behind bars when we win this war-" He said but was cut off by Alecto's steric laugh.

"Win this war?!" She repeated in a mocking way. "My dear boy, you're just as insane as your old parents." She said sarcastically, and Neville's anger was now boiling inside his veins, as he took out his wand, but Alecto made another cut, in the other side Amycus did his, perhaps even more deeper.

I furrowed my eyebrowns in confusion, and turned to Charlotte who was by my side, as intrigued as I was.

"What's she talking about? Weren't Neville's parents dead?" I asked my voice a complete whisper, and she shrugged.

"No, Neville's parents are in St. Mungus." I heard a voice behind me whisper, and I turned around to see Draco, sat next Blaise, his gaze looking forth between me and Alecto, making sure she wouldn't hear us. "Aunt Bella didn't got to kill them, the curse only got them insane." He added.

"And how do you know that?" I asked my voice the lowest it could be for only him to hear.

"I heard Bellatrix tell my father." He elaborated.

"I see that you know everything that's going on inside your house." I said amusingly, raising an eyebrown at him.

"Big house, boring life." He said vaguely, but clear enough for me to understand.

I gave him a smile - which he didn't returned back - and turned to the front, being attentive to Alecto's words.

"The Muggles are evil and eager for power, our greatest enemy, and they shall be stopped at once...because magic is might." She said writing the last three words on the blackboard. "In this, upgraded, class we will learn their weaknesses, and how to show them that they are nothing but mere mortals than can only dream to possess the gift we cary." She said firmly, her gaze going through all the class.

All the class was quiet as she spoke, obviously founding way beyond pathetic every word she was saying, except most of some Slytherin who seemed to agree with her, looking like taking in every word she was pronouncing.

"You silly childs think that we are running the wizarding world but that's the opposite of what our purpose is" She said as if was something obvious. "...we are nothing more than nothing less, to..bringing things to it's normality, witches and wizards will no longer being required to hide in the shadows, we will show the muggles who are the real owners of this world...because magic is might." She said firmly. "Say it with me." She demanded.

"Magic is Might." Only a few pair of students saud the words, and most of who said didn't seemed very convicted either ways as the voices seemed more filled with fear rather than excitement.

"Say it!" She said loudly.

"Magic is might." More than half of the class said this time, but definitely without any emotion or motivation in their voice to Alecto's displeased.

"You will learn how to say it properly...all of you...one way or another." She said firmly.

My suspicious about the Carrows have been confirmed by now, they were indeed evilness people, who know nothing but to say their old century ideas, and punish people for pure diversion.

I wanted to go outside, it was weekend, and I was tired of being looking at the same four walls, already making me sick due to having no one to talk with.

Both the Carrows and Filch usually patrol the hallways, and not to speak about the amount of Dementors surrounding the all school perimeter, passing unseen by them would probably be the hardest part.

The Carrows and Filch would probably won't be a issue for me, they're most probably searching the zone around Gryfindor common room, and Snape, we barely see him outside his office, so he would definitely not be a problem.

Passing the hallways with ease, I came myself with the cloudy courtyard, already seeing the Dementors floating around the school, risking myself to accidentally facing one - if not more - without mastering to perform a Patronus Charm to keep them away, would be pretty irresponsible, and definitely dumb, specially because I just wanted to walk around the outside school grounds just by boredom, which didn't felt a reason for me to risk myself, and I wouldn't relax at all, even if I tried, fearing that a Dementor would show up in front of me to suck my soul.

Too over controlled by fear, my feet started to walk away, when I suddenly bump into someone.

I open my eyes in fear to who it would be, and I find myself looking at Luna.

"Luna?" I said confused for seeing her here.

"Oh, hi Lara, how are you?" She asked softly, as she gave me a soft smile, she wasn't in her school robes like me, just in everyday clothes, barefooted, but still giving the impression she was about to go somewhere.

"I'm good, I was about to go for a walk, but I'm too afraid that the Dementors will catch me, so..." I said vaguely, my tone annoyed for walking all this way until here, risking my bare skin to be caught by the Carrows for absolutely nothing.

"Oh you can come with me if you want." She said softly, and I raised my eyebrowns in confusion as she started to walk in front of me without saying anything else, proposing for me to follow her.

She was going in direction to the Forbidden Forest, which I found odd coming from Luna, but one thing was clear, there wouldn't be any Dementors there so perhaps it wasn't a bad idea to go there.

Successfully passing through the Dementors that were paring in the air, and being now under the shadow of the big threes, Luna started opening her bag.

She came to a halt, and so did I, right besides her when I saw her taking a piece of meat out of her bag, ans throwing it to front of her, while I stood there quietly, clueless of what we were doing.

Suddenly, I see some dark figure with white eyes, peek from a three, until it gained trust and slowly came out from the place it was hidden, and runned to eat the meat.

It was some type of horse, with a skeletal body, so thin, covered by a translucent and glossy coat, the face with reptilian features, with a large tail with flowing black hair and, and wide leathery wings.

"It's a Thestral." Luna said while I was eying the litlle horse eating the meat happily.

I've read about them, only people who witnessed death and accepted it's reality were able to see them, therefore there aren't many people in school who know about them.

"Have you always seen them?" I asked softly, trying not to be rude, and she nodded.

"My mother was a great witch, but one day one spell went wrong...I was nine." She said softly, giving me a thin smile.

"I'm so sorry, Luna." I said softly.

"Don't worry, I'm okay, I have dad." She gave me a wide smile at her words which I returned back.

"I lost my mother as well." I said as my gaze focused on the litlle thestral eating the meat.

"I know, I'm sorry." She said softly, and I gave her a thin smile.

Suddenly I saw at least two bigger thestrals, even bigger than a regular horse, come out from the shadows, and it didn't took long to more come after them.

Luna throwed more meat at them, as they happily ate it, and one got closer to her as she petted it.

The thestral them looked at me, letting me see his white big eyes, and Luna signed me to slowly step foward, and so I did, stretching my arm as I did so, while the thestral watched me carefully, and with my hand already above his skeletal head, I slowly petted him, and saw him relax when saw that I wasn't a threat.

His dark skin was smooth, along with his black hair coming from it's mane, but a bit slippery, and so thin that I could feel his bones with my hand.

"Do you come here often?" I asked Luna as I cared the thestral head, and she nodded. "Even though you might be caught by the Dementors?" I added.

"Someone must feed them, and I use to do it since a long time." She said softly, as she petted another's thestral body. "And I have my Patronus if some Dementor shows up." She explained and I nodded softly.

We stayed there for a time, sat near a three, Luna throwing some more meat at each new thestral that appeared as well.

"You know, usually people are terrified of them...they describe them as sinister and spooky." Luna said softly, while we were watching two litlle thestral playing together around the big ones.

"I think people misjudge them, because of their appearance...I actually found them quite interesting." I said softly, smiling at one little thestral that ran towards me so I petted him.

Luna's company was better than I thought, I knew she was a kind girl, specially since the day where she was the only one who didn't looked glared at me in D.A. and she was also an inspiring girl, since a long time people use to call her all those bloody names, due to her being apparently different, but the only thing that Luna had different was the way she didn't judged people at first sight.

"Luna do you think Harry is going to defeat You-Know-Who?" I asked softly, hoping she would have faith that this would stop like me.

"Yes, I think he has a plan, and it's searching for a way to defeat him for good, so we can all be free again." She said smiling, and I believed each word, if there was someone really honest, that someone was Luna. "But I don't know if that's going to be so soon."

"Patience is the key, as my mother's used to say." I said softly, and she smiled in agreement.

"Your mother seems like she was a wise woman." Luna said softly.

"And she was." I said clearly. "She was the wisest woman I've ever met." I was looking at the thestral, trying to imagine my mother petting them. "She would've liked you."

" I bet she was as kind as you are." She said softly, as she throwed the last piece of meat she had to the thestrals.

"No, I'm nothing like her, she always managed to see the good side of things, to always be guided by light...I will never be like her." I said as my tone hardened.

"Perhaps that's a good thing." She said catching my attention. "Perhaps she didn't wanted you too look like her, because she probably also made mistakes in the past...we're not our parents, as they say." Luna said softly giving me a wide smile.

"You're right...we're not our parents." I repeated her word letting them sink deep in me, making me feel that I haven't disappointed my mother at all.
