Lily's: POV
-Flashback-
February 16th 1931: London
I stood with my hands pressed against the window and looked after the visitors. Soon I would get a new family who cared about me. But I wasn't sure if someone wanted me. I had long messy raven hair and crystal blue eyes. I was skinny and pale.
Then I saw a woman and a man who walked up to the orphanage. They knocked at the door and our headmistress opened. I heard how Eva talked with them and I did my best to get the dirt off my dress and my face. I ran downstairs and went to the hall. All the children stood in line waiting to be adopted.
(Lily, 11)
"This is Lily Everdeen and she's eleven years old. Her father left her here before he took his life. Nobody wants her, but I think you and your husband would like Isabella." said Eva. A girl with blonde hair looked at them. "We take her." replied Elizabeth. I tried to hold back the tears. Why does no one want to adopt me? I went back to my room and lay down on the bed. I cried myself to sleep.

Caspian's: POV
I came back after an hunt and met a shocking sight. The whole orphanage was on fire. All the children was out, except for Lily. I rushed in and ran to her room. Lily lay unconscious on the bed. I picked her up and rushed out.
(Caspian)
She wasn't breathing and her face was covered in soot. "I'm so sorry, please forgive me." I said before I bit her.

Lily's: POV
I woke up three days later. I looked around and everything felt so different. I saw things that I hadn't noticed before. I looked at myself in a mirror and gasped. My skin was paler and my eyes were bright red. The sun shone in through the windows and my hand sprakled, like a thousand diamonds were glued on my skin.
Caspian came into the room and sat down on the bed. "What did you do?" I asked. "I saved you from the fire and turned you into a vampire to save your life." he said. "A vampire." I replied shocked. "They live among us." he said.
Then I felt a terrible pain in my throat. "The fire." I said. "You need to hunt." replied Caspian. I looked scared at him. "I'll help you." he said. "Thank you." I replied. He took my hand and we ran into the forest.
