We now had to figure out a way to get to the Golden Apple islands.
I suggested we go find Venti, aka "Tone Dead Bard," As labelled by Paimon.
Venti was standing quietly in wind rise, soaking in the sun and the wind.
"Hello Venti!" We greeted the Anemo archon.
"Hello Y/N and friends." Smiled Venti as he turned around.
After explaining to Venti about Klee's letter, he chuckled.
"So can Mr. Tone-deaf bard take us to Golden Apple Archipelego islands?" Asked Klee, smiling at Venti.
"Tone-deaf bard huh?" Asked Venti raising an eyebrow and chuckling again.
"Well, that's what Paimon called you." Replied Klee awkwardly.
"Oops." Goes Paimon.
"Well, alright." Smiled Venti as he jumped into the air and played his magical lyre.
The melody was like the normal wind itself, gentle and soothing, but also had its strengths.
A loud Woosh! Overhead us was heard as we see a dragon soaring over us.
"Dvalin?!" I asked, shocked.
"Yep! I'm sure he won't mind." Smiled Venti as he whispered something to Dvalin and gave the dragon a few fruits and a piece of meat.
Dvalin nodded and ordered us to get on his back.
"Alright." Replied Jean, as she, Barbara and Klee all glanced nervously at the dragon.
"I don't bite." Smiled the dragon, showing only a bit of his fangs as he smiled.
Barbara jumped a little and Jean had to steady her.
"We know." I smiled as I petted the dragon and fed him a smoked ham from my inventory.
"Thanks for the food." Replied the dragon as we sat on his back.
On the way there, we talked about the Golden Apple islands and what we should do.
While Dvalin and Xiao conversed with eachother. Dvalin seemed to admire the Adeptus. They got along quite well surprisingly.
Later around the Golden Apple islands
"I'm sorry, but I must drop you here, I cannot go further." Began Dvalin as he slowly landed on the sand.
"Thank you for taking us here." I replied.
"Thanks for the ride, Mr. Dragon!" Replied Klee happily as she petted Dvalin and fed him an apple from her pack.
"No problem, stay safe and have a good vacation." Replied the dragon as he took off to the skies again.
"Goodbye, Dvalin!" We waved.
Golden Apple Archipalego Islands
We explored the first Island together and looked around the place.
"Hey, I see some boats!" Barbara pointed the ocean area down the hill.
"Oh yeah! There's 2 boats!" I noted.
"I guess Klee, Barbara and I will share a boat." Replied Jean.
"Xiao and I will share a boat." I nodded.
"Hey, don't forget me!" Giggled Paimon as she flew in behind us.
"Yeah, of course, you don't take much space." I laughed.
"Let's get going." Nodded Jean.
Barbara and Klee were still laughing at Paimon.
We walked down the green grassy hill and got onto the ship.
"Hope there's not any big waves." I began nervously as I got inside the boat.
"Why?" Asked Xiao, glancing at me.
"I get seasick sometimes," I replied.
"The water tonight looks calm." Replied Xiao.
"How do we power this boat up?" I asked.
"Look here." Replies Xiao as he pointed at the element orbs on the back. The boat also had a tiny steering wheel.
"Is it possible that we can just get this boat driving itself?" I asked.
"It is, probably easier than creating an abode." Replied Xiao, "hang on," he goes as he closes his eyes and channeled a bit of his power into the boat.
The boat started to move among the waters.
"Thanks." I replied.
"No problem." Replied Xiao, as he opened his eyes and sat next to me.
Few hours later, close to midnight
"Hey, we're gonna rest here tonight!" Called Jean, as she poked her head out from their boat.
"In the water?!" I asked, shocked.
"Doesn't look like any waves coming in tonight and I don't see any whirlpools near by." Replied Jean.
"Alright, goodnight." I replied as I took out my teapot and went inside to sleep.
Xiao reluctantly followed after Paimon managed to convince him that Qiqi will keep watch.
Apparantly (sometimes) zombies don't sleep. Qiqi wanted to play with Klee and look after Klee anways, which meant Qiqi was perfect for this job. She has been chilling inside the teapot and wanting to play with Klee again.
The little zombie girl nodded as she hopped out of the teapot portal.
The teapot floated with little clouds in front of Qiqi as she sat quietly next it.
Klee then hopped over onto the boat and slept next to her friend.
"Aren't you going to sleep?" Asked Jean, poking her head out the boat and glancing at Qiqi.
"Zombies don't need sleep, Qiqi will be fine and keep watch." Replied Qiqi slowly as she blinked.
"Maybe she can just sleep during the day." Barbara whispered to Jean.
"Alright, goodnight," replied Jean as she went back inside her boat.
"Goodnight." Replied Qiqi slowly.
The next morning
I woke up next to Xiao. He had took a plate of almond tofu and sat on the bed to eat. Looks like Tubby had made us breakfast again.
I then went to get changed and headed downstairs for breakfast.
"Smells good!" I replied as I sat down as Tubby placed a plate of pancakes with cream.
We finished having breakfast and teleported out of the teapot realm, landing back inside the boat.
"Where should we head to-wait what is that?!" I asked as I looked at the strange structures past Jean in the sea.
There were huge golden sword-like structures in the water. They were roughly the size of a 7 statue you would see in Liyue or Monstadt.
"I have no idea," Replied Jean as she followed my gaze.
The others looked to where I pointed.
"Must be Dodo-King's doing!" Fumed Klee.
"Should we sail a little closer to see?" I asked.
"Yes, but please exercise with caution." Replied Jean.
We activated each of the strange objects in the water and then the water began to shake.
Waves splashed towards us, tumbling.
"This is why I'm not a fan of sailing!" I yelled, "I get seasick easily!" I complained as I grabbed Xiao's hand and raced inside the floating teapot.
Xiao had somehow managed to bring the boat inside the teapot.
Jean with Barbara and Klee in tow had landed in our teapot too.
"I'm sorry but What was that?!" Asked Jean, shocked.
"I have no idea!" I replied.
"Must be Dodo-King's doing!" Replied Klee.
"Is it safe to get out of the teapot now?" Asked Barbara.
Xiao and I ventured out my teapot.
"It's clear!" I yelled into the conch.
"Aright!" Replied Jean as she, Barbara and Klee hopped out my teapot.
We landed into two different boats and sailed onwards.
