After the lot of you had eaten, Heesung was sent off back to his room to get ready for your lessons this afternoon. Sunoo and you has got back from the seamstress and are now fully clothed with the palace's uniform. You wonder why they were wearing an all black ansamble but you were given red one. Even Sunoo was given something a but nicer than what madamé Rosa has given.
Eli said it's because he'll be a companion to another royal here and she doesn't want Sunoo to look like a slave again. Sunoo's new clothes fits his blond hair and adorable smile. He was given a beret, dress pants and a nice flowy top that reached his wrists and a pair of leather shoes that he loves the instant his eyes layed on them. He was sent to the east wing of the palace to go meet the royal he's suppose to accompany. You on the other hand was given something out of the ordinary, red.
"Please let your hair down," Eli says as she clasps the belt infront of you.
You look at her in confusion and she smiles.
"Prince Heesung hates pinned hairs. You heard how he described her past teachers right? He'll atleast be comfortable with that," she says and you did.
You let your curly hair down and your brown curtain of hair easily cascades down your waist. Eli then smiles at you warmly and leads you to the library where the prince usually gets his lessons. This library is not short of a grand. Tge rows and shelves of books are endless and you remind yourself that you're here to be a teacher for a royal.
"It's been months since I last held a book," you said to Eli.
Eli faces you and smile sympathetically. She knew what you've been through and why madamé Rosa sent you here. It's such a waste for you and Sunoo to be locked up in there forever.
"That's okay, you have all morning to read through books you like before your class with the prince later this afternoon. You can take it easy, maybe introduce yourselves and get to know more about each other,"
You gave her a small nod and a smile. Eli then takes her leave and you were left to figure out the library to yourself. You neared a space where a desk with two well-upholstered chairs is placed infront of a chalk board. Eli said this js the place where you two will be staying for most of the lesson hours. You reached for the notebook that's covered with leather and scanned through the schedules. His first lesson for today is history. Thus, you searched for the book and other learning materials for it. Although you haven't held a book in months, you will never forget what it contains.
Luckily, the teacher who home schooled you was very very kind and knowledgable. She would teach you ways on how to sgare your knowledges as how a teacher would. It made you want to be teacher before but you know you'll never be since your father wanted you to be married off to a wealthy family. Who would've thought that you'd end up being a teacher in the most unconvenient way?
You started reading through the pages, it's this kingdom's history. The southern kingdom is called as it is. Even from where you are, which was from the north, kingdoms weren't really named after something but rather from where it is located. After what seems like hours of reading, and you're already halfway through the book, you seem to be warry of where the prince's whereabouts are. He should be here an hour ago yet you're still alone here. Worried that the next hours for the next subject would be affected, you decide to look for him yourself.
Although you weren't that familiar with the palace, you figured you could just ask anyone around for directions. You started to walk down the large hallways that are decorated with big paintings into a large courtyard. You seem to be very unlucky today since no one's really around. The big pillars of the palace seemed to daze you more but then a figure just passed by. Hoping you could ask for direction, you ran after the person. His back is turned away from you and he seems to walk to the west wing of the palace which is much farther from the library. To your surprise it was the prince himself. Heesung to turns his face to see who could be following him and the second he sees you, he starts running away.
Your eyes widen and starts running after him. "Your highness, where have you been? Our classes should've started a while ago," you pant as you run after him into another hallway that's full of doors.
You turn right to follow him but he was gone. You huff out to yourself and blow tge stray fringe of hair away from your eyes. You sweat yourself like crazy, the dress you're wearing are layers of fabric making it even hotter. Why is he even running away from you? Does he really hate his lessons that much?
You start opening doors to see where he could've entered. The first door was an art room, then an empty bedroom, another empty bedroom, a large powder room, another bedroom. The doors must've been unlimited since the hallway just stretches farther and farther.
You shut your eyes tight and opens the next room. It's a large office and a masn is sitted in the largest desk you have ever seen your entire life. The glasses he's wearing is perfectly pearched on his nosebridge and you could see how long his lashes are as he looks up to you form the paper he's writing on.
You bow in apology and was baout to leave when he stands up to his feet and walks to you.
"I'm really sorry sir. I was just looking for the prince. I apologize for not knocking," you said, your eyes casted down to the floor.
Something that your old employer used to beat out of you.
"That's okay, why are you looking for the prince by the way?" He asks, his wavy hair almost covering half of his forehead.
He's really beautiful for a man.
"Our lessons should've started an hour ago but he never came. He started running away from me instead when I saw him at the courtyard," you said embarrassingly.
You might not know this man but seems noble or some sort. He would'nt be in this large office if he's not a high ranking personnel.
"I see. So you're his new teacher?" He said tapping his finger on his lips.
"Yes sir," you answered.
"I might know where he's hiding," he said to you making you smile in joy.
"Really? I mean, really sir?" You try to hide your eagerness.
He chuckles and walks pass you to open the door.
"This way lady—" he 2aits for your answer.
"Oh no please sir, I am no lady here," you said in alarm.
He smiles and opens the door wider.
"Anyone in this palace is a lady to me," he said nodded a little.
You look away bashfully and fidgets with your hand. You have never been called lady since 8 months ago. It sounded a bit out of place now.
"Y/n, kind sir," you answer anyway.
He smiles im return, showcasing his pearly white teeth.
"This way lady Y/n," he said, ushering you out.
