"Its our 7th anniversary guys..." chan started, "which means.." he trailed off.
"Our contract is over.." hyunjin finished his sentence as you all looked down.
"Yah," minho began, "why be sad?! We've known eachother for 7+ years! Just because we're old doesn't mean we should be boomers!"
"We might not be teens anymore but we're still good looking." Han said making you all laugh. Its true. You all aren't teens anymore. Especially you and jeongin. Chan is now 27, minho is 26, changbin is 25, hyunjin, felix, han, and seungmin are all 24, jeongin is now 23, and youre 21. Still young, but a lot older than before.
"I cant believe the maknaes aren't teens anymore." Changbin pointed to you and jeongin.
You both looked at eachother before chuckling.
"Remember when jeongin mistakened me for noona?" You said making them all laugh
"Ahhh I thought you were felix hyungs age!" Jeongin groaned as he laughed.
"Who knew we'd come this far?" Chan said as you all nodded. You guys have come very far together. You've won multiple awards, filled multiple stadiums, sold out multiple concerts, had multiple world tours and even won 2 grammy awards. (Girlies lets pray this comes true. Manifesting😩🤚🏼)
"It seems like yesterday minho hyung was eliminated." Felix commented as you all nodded.
"Minjees grown a lot..I remember her baby face." Chan said looking over at you.
"Me?" You pointed to yourself as they all nodded.
"You were so small...you were so short, your eyes were big like a deer, you had braces...you were still going through puberty...ahh I miss those days." Chan said as you chuckled.
"I don't. Puberty is NOT something im redoing. I feel bad for my future daughter. Do you know how scary it was getting your first period? Hell no. Not doing that shit again." You said making them all laugh.
"You want a daughter?" Seungmin asked.
"Not the point here." You glared as they all laughed.
"Nono. Do you guys remember when we were still on the survival show? We all didn't know what we were doing we were just hoping we dont get eliminated." Seungmin mentioned making you all laugh.
"We all just followed what eachother said and looked like lost dogs." Jeongin laughed.
"Or when we had to perform in front of day6 sunbaenims and Got7 sunbaenims." Changbin mentioned
"We were so nervous that day...now look at us. People are performing in front of US for their survival shows." Han said as you all nodded.
"Its just weird to know we basically raised eachother." Chan said. "Like- I basically raised half of you." He continued making the maknae line laugh.
"Jeongin was 16 and then minjee came in still a fetus. I was so scared I was gonna do or say something wrong to her." Minho said making you all giggle.
"We basically raised her oh my god..." chan trailed off as he looked down.
You looked up noticing them all looking sad. "Eyyy stop being sad!!" You whined. "Why are we all sitting here thinking about memories being sad! Lets think of the funny ones that made us all laugh!"
"Remember when you hit your head on the stove and had that bump for like 4 days?" Minho asked.
"not those funny ones." You glared at him making them all laugh.
"Honestly, we all have memories we'd like to talk about but it's too much for me to handle right now before I start bawling my eyes out so lets not." Felix said making you all laugh again.
"Remember when jisung walked into a door?" Seungmin asked
"That was literally 2 days ago?" Han looked at him confused
"Exactly. Just wanted to remind you that youre an idiot." Seungmin said, laying back on the couch as you all laughed.
"Remember when seungmin first confessed to minjee?" Changbin said. "He was really nervous."
You smiled, remembering the moment. "Ahh.." you threw your head back, "he was really crazy back then..." you said.
"Eyy." Seungmin glared, making you laugh.
"Or when they had their first kiss..." felix said before squirming in his seat and making a weird noise. "That was such a kdrama scene."
You smiled, shaking your head.
"Now look at them. They're not afraid to kiss in front of us anymore." Minho said.
You and seungmin both looked at each other before looking away and blushed.
You cleared your throat, "anyway.."
"Can we talk about all the past scandals we've had? Those were...interesting moments.." jeongin said.
"Hyunjins hiatus that had stays dying." Felix said.
"Not re-doing that again. Shit was the worst moment of my life." Hyunjin shook his head as you all giggled.
"Minjee and seungmin on hiatus for dating." Han said.
"Please stays were ready to burn jyp down while me and seungmin were planning what to do when we come back." You said, making them all laugh.
"These years have been...crazy..." chan said as he tapped his hands together. "I still can't believe it's time to say bye? Like- we're going to go to the military and then back to our normal lives before we met. It wont be normal because we'll get recognized but- we just wont be a group anymore. All of us might keep making music but- we wont be helping eachother anymore."
"Don't put it that way. You're making it seem like we'll never see eachother." Changbin patted Chans thigh.
"I've been wondering this for a while.." han began, "when we all stop making music completely- how will you two work it out? Will you guys stay in korea or will you move to australia? Or move by where seungmins family is??" Han pointed at you and seungmin.
"Oh..." you and seungmin looked at eachother. "We never really spoke about this since we never thought about it.." seungmin explained.
"What about you guys? Will you two go back to australia?" You asked felix and chan.
"Mmm..i think I'll stay here and visit but at the same time- i dont know." Chan explained.
"Me too. I dont know if I'd like to stay here or not. I wanna go home but then i wouldn't be able to see you guys. And i wanna stay here because i think of this as my new home but- I'd be far from family and i feel like without you guys I'd be lost." Felix explained.
"Don't think like that." You said, "without us you'll do completely fine. Plus, who said we're leaving you? We'll be one call away. We might be doing our own stuff but we will still be here for you."
"Minjees right." Hyunjin agreed. "Maybe some of us will be farther by distance but we will still be here for you whenever you need it. If you're scared of being here in korea alone, maybe its your brain telling you you miss home?"
"I do miss home but...i just- ahh." Felix groaned. "I dont know if i wanna go to australia and throw everything away here and just make music all in english. I dont wanna just throw away what I've learned from dancing, learning korean, rapping, and singing. Its complicated..."
"We get it.." chan nodded. "But like minjee said, we'll be one call away so if you need anything just call. We wont forget each other at all. We'd be more than gladly to rush over to help you with anything."
"Even if i cant reach a cup?" Feli asked making you all laugh.
"Even if you cant reach a cup." You all nodded smiling.
"Thanks." He chuckled looking down.
"Remember how hyunjin hyung and han hyung couldn't sit still for 5 minutes before bickering." Seungmin mentioned.
"They'd be sitting next to eachother and hyunjin hyung would just look at han hyung and give him a dirty look like he wanted to punch him." Jeongin laughed.
"But now look at them. They're like best friends." Minho pointed out.
"I think one thing I've learned over the years is just to understans people better. I had a short temper back then so I'd always get annoyed and never understood why people did what they did. But now, i think I've gotten a bit better at it." Hyunjin explained as you all nodded.
"Well, its pass 1 am. Lets all get some sleep so tomorrow we can make the official announcement." Chan said.
You all said yes and goodnight before walking to your rooms. One thing that did change was you now shared a room with seungmin instead of felix. Changbin switched rooms so now he's roomates with felix.
You did your night routine before you layed down on the bed still thinking about everything. You're really going to leave the boys now. You guys wont live together. You guys wont be at practice together. You guys wont be eating together. And you guys wont be posting on stray kids instagram nor twitter anymore. I'll all be history.
"What are you thinking about?" Seungmin asked as he layed next to you.
You hummed and looked at him. "Nothing." You shook your head before looking back up to the ceiling.
"Is it because our disbandment?" He asked.
"Mmm..." you nodded. "It just feels so...weird. To know..i wont be living with all of you guys anymore. Like- I'll wake up in the morning and expect to see you guys eating, but nothing. Not even a good morning."
"But it's like that in your dorm." He mentioned.
"Yeah but i visit you guys so often it feels like i still live here." You explained. "I wont be going to practice anymore and see you guys all goofing around. I wont be seeing felix and you trying to cook. I wont see minho threatening hyunjin with toilet paper or an air fryer anymore. I wont see han screaming at hyunjin anymore. I wont see you all like i do now.." you said tearing up.
"Its just...weird." You finally said.
"It is huh...we basically raised you and now youre a big girl who can drink." He sighed.
"Not very well. I dont get why you guys let me." You shook your head sniffling.
He laughed and looked at you. "Im glad chan and i didnt let you drink more. You would've been spilling secrets from left and right and would've been dragging everyone."
You smiled before slightly laughing. "You guys never told me what i did when i got kinda...out of mind."
"Ah..well, you first squished everyones cheek and went 'you're all baby' then you continue to go to hyunjin and say 'wait- why am i there? Am i two people?!' " he said
"Really?!" You laughed.
"Then you go up to me and say 'wowie wowie. You're cute!' And then just stared at me face. But then i asked why and you said 'you look a lot like someone i know' so when we asked who you said 'my boyfriend' " he explained more.
"I did that?!" You covered your mouth shocked.
"Mhm." He nodded. "Then i patted your head and said i WAS your boyfriend and you looked at me before saying 'hey. What are you doing? Stop that. I have a boyfriend.' "
You laughed again not believing what you did.
"But hey, at least i know that even when youre drunk you wouldn't cheat on me. Even when the room was full of males." He said
"Thats because ryujin wasnt in the room." You said
"What-" he looked at you
"Im kidding." You laughed.
"Tsk,...you and your weird sense of humor." He shook his head as you smiled.
"After all this...what are we going to do?" You asked earning a humm from him. "I mean like-" you stopped before looking at him. "At some point i think I'd like to stop making music and live a normal life. But i think I'd still want to do dance. But what will we do together like- where will we move? Will we even live together?"
"Eyy.." he sighed pulling you clossr. "Of course we'll live together. If i haven't gotten tired of you in 4 years of us dating i wont get tired of you in the future."
"Gee thanks that really helped." You said sarcastically before rolling your eyes as he laughed.
"How about...mm...we live together after this then? Hm?" He offered.
"Really? Alone?" You asked as he nodded.
"Alone." He comfirmed.
"Can i still travel to australia after this though?" You asked.
"Of course." He nodded again. "Why would you even ask permission for something like that. You can go all the way to canada if you'd even like."
"Really?! Can i?! Alone!" You said excitedly as you sat up.
"Aye no i was kidding. Lay back down missy." He glared as he pulled your shoulder down again.
"Tsk," you shook your head smiling. "Well then. Sleep now." You patted his head.
"You too." he patted your head back as you smiled and nodded. He layed on his back and pulled you closer so you could sleep on hus shoulder. "Goodnight."
You hummed in response before going to sleep. He looked down at you and smiled before stroking your hair. He always waited for you to fall asleep first before he went to sleep. It was a habbit of his ever since you both shared a room.
- next morning -
"Okay! Well, should we start the letter?" Chan asked as you all agreed.
After minutes of writing you all finally were happy with the letter.
"Dear stays,
Its stray kids! Happy 7th birthday! You guys are now in 1st/2nd grade! Cute~ ㅋㅋㅋ
You guys have grown so much! We remember many of your faces from concerts, fan meetings, and meeting you guys in real life suddenly. You've all grown to be the big kids we knew you guys could be.
We're so proud of all of you!
Thank you for being the best fandom ever and for being mature when others got to you guys. You all are truly the motivation for our careers and we couldn't be any more happy to call you ours.
Thank you for being here with us even when we were all young and made mistakes.

He opened his arms and you all hugged him tightly.
"Thank you." He whispered. "Thank you for being the best team mates ever and for following me on this journey. I couldn't be any more happy that I picked you all. Thank you for making me realize that i did the right decision. Thank you for proving haters that we did the right thing."
You all cried on his shoulder while hugging him.
"Thank you hyung." Minho smiled. "For everything." He said as you all backed away.
"Thank you for allowing me to be here." Changbin smiled.
"Thank you for protecting us when we were young hyung." Hyunjin said.
"Thank you for helping me realize my mistakes." Han said.
"Thank you for being a big brother to me." Felix smiled as he cried.
"Thank you for being there for me." Seungmin said.
"Thank you for picking me up when i couldn't." Jeongin sadly smiled.
"Thank you...for even thinking about me." You smiled as you had tears rolling down.
Chan smiled as tears fell down. "Thank you all for being here with me." He said before hugging you all once again.
"Thank you for raising us." You and jeongin smiled.
"Well, you guys made it easy. You were both adorable and respectful so it made it a lot easier." Chan smiled. "You all grew so much since the first time i saw all of you. You all turned out to be wonderful adults."
You all smiled and hugged him again as you all cried.
"We love you hyung." The boys all said together.
"I love you all too." Chan smiled. You looked down not being able to form words.
"Min?" He called out. You looked up at him crying. "I love you." You cried harder before hugging him again.
"I love you too....oppa." You said. He chuckled at the formality. You always added -ssi at the end of their names, never oppa.
And just like that, it was the end of stray kids but the beginning of your solo lives.
