I grabbed my textbooks from the locker and started to head to my math class crossing and bumping around large mess of students.
"Oh!" I cried out as I collided with the figure.
"Woah. Sorry Tess. Didn't see you there" Caroline apologised.
"No, it's okay" I chuckled, "I wasn't looking where I was going."
"Are you alright?" She asked. I smiled up at her. Her eyebrows were knotted together in concern. It was really sweet.
"Yeah, don't worry about it. It was all my falut. I was totally focused on passing out of this mess and I didn't notice you."
She giggled and rolled her eyes. Caroline had blonde wavy hair that fell down her shoulders. Her eyes were deep light shade of green. She had an almost negligible bit of makeup on her face.
"Anyway have you heard the news?" Caroline asked as we headed to math class.
"What news?" I responded raising my eyebrow.
"Ugh, c'mon Tess! Stop being a dumbass" she huffed.
"Throw it off bitch" I said, although I was smiling.
"Karen is back" pulled a face.
My expression at that moment was priceless. My bright eyes widened and my mouth, coated with gloss, shaped like a small o. It seemed like I could barely digest the fact "You mean Karen Krafft?"
"Uh..huh"
"No way!" My mouth was still fixated in a small o. My shocked face couldn't be hidden, "Carter's girlfriend? East West Abbey's popular girl? And where did she go, anyway?"
"I have literally no idea" Caroline said, shrugging aimlessly. "I dont think anyone even talked about her since she left the school after a week of gossips. But hardly every boys missed the popular girl's body"
"Too right!" I responded balancing my books in one hand.
As we entered the class, our eyes landed on Karen. She had a perfect, slim figure and the blonde curl that cascaded down to the middle of her back. She was wearing the regular school uniform. Her plane skirt was only a few inches long and it hugged her curves so well. Her shirt was unbuttoned to reveal a best amount of her cleavage and a hot black lace bra that she was wearing. The school tie was hung loosely around her neck which pretty well seemed like necklace.
"What are you doing in my seat bitch?" I snapped, not even bothering to care.
"Ohh what's put you in a bad mood, looser ?" She smiled, showing off her perfect white teeth and her dazzling blue eyes focused on mine.
"Don't dare to call me that" the words came out so loud raising my anger.
Soon everyone's attention in the room focused on both of us.
"Don't you dare take that tone with me." She said stepping up closer so her face was just few inches to mine.
"Ugh what's the least you can do? Probably you got a brain under all that blonde somewhere, but you definitely don't choose to use it. Unless it's got anything to hook up with some nerds and teachers"
I narrowed my eyes giving a chance for Karen to remember the thing she did with our Englsih teacher.
"Don't dare to bring that up Tessa! You know people never liked you. So don't even bring it up here to win against me. You're a little slut and guess what? Everyone knows it"
"Aha wow, I'm hurt" I said sarcastically.
Before Karen could give a chance to speak herself, Mr Ellington entered the class and every students dispersed and occupied their seats. I took my seat beside Karen. "It's true, though isn't? Well guess what? It was me who informed Mr Potter about yours and Mr Justin's carry-on thing in closet."
"You think I'm that dumb to not notice it? I had my eyes on you for that entire day! What made you even think that Mr Potter believed whatever you just snored? "
"You think he didn't take the fact after witnessing the proof?"
"Proof? You mean the photos that you clicked while I was doing it with Mr Justin? Aww poor little girl..since Mr potter was too busy to hear the dumb story of yours, he didn't pay much attention. And yeah the posters which you placed on the chamber office table were replaced by me when Mr Potter got a call and sent you for a minute of excuse.
For minute my expression changed into anger. How could I have not seen it coming? "Do you think your cunning brain can win ahead me? I have many copies of it. I knew something like this would come from your side."
"TESSA! Just give me all those posters." She raised her pitch voice against me.
"You both stop distracting the class. You, miss Karen, if you have anything to tell, why don't you share with us all? So that we all can pay attention" Mr Ellington interrupted us with a strict face.
"I'm sorry" Karen changed her voice and face into innocent kid. Wow what a drama queen.
"Listen you bitch, you know you can't take a shit from me and will never. So stop playing these games before I could ruin your life"
" You can barely do nothing. Very well...maybe I should go with my plan B" I said sticking my eyes on problem that Mr Ellington has given to solve.
"What's the plan B?" Karen shouted, suddenly finding herself pushed to the edge of her temper. But soon she softened noticing everyone's eyes on her.
"What's going on between you to?" Mr Ellington raised his pen holding between his two fingers pointing to us both.
"I'm really so sorry Mr Ellington, I'm trying my best to concentrate but this bitch isn't giving me a chance" Karen lowered her voice giving annoying look at me.
"Stop dragging me in" I grumbled clenching my teeth.
"This is the last chance for you both! Better consider yourselves to end up in class or in office room. Okay?"
"Yeah" we responded together and rolled our eyes looking at each other. Why can't this bitch keep her voice low? Shit my whole day is ruined now just because of meeting this whore. Why at latest do we have to meet in this first place here.
I looked at at Caroline who keep throwing her confusion look at me for awhile. I gave her a quick smile indicating nothing to worry. I glanced at Karen grinning at me for no reason. I can't tolerate that face while she keep grinning at me.
"Stop looking at me and tell me what's that plan B?" She smirked.
"The posters will be delivered to the right person very soon" I respond taking a deep breath as the hotness was filled in the class. "Soon Carter's gonna find it and ditch you"
For seconds Karen expression changes. She have been with Carter for months and she's so possessive over him though Carter sometimes feel bored of her. They've been the most cute couples in the school. And now if he finds out these posters, there's no doubts he's gonna dump this girl. Aha.
"Shut the hell up, Tessa! Karen screamed suddenly, startling all of us. She slammed her fist down on the table in temper, which as a result, sent most of the papers on table flying a couple of centimeters into the air.
"Karen, what the heck is gotten into you today? Today is the first day of your school and you know it right? If you continue like this, soon you'll be out of this school. Now both of you, out of class! Right now" Mr Ellington now spoke very rude and his sound was very sharp, pissed by both of us. He was the only strict teacher around the school who had not fallen for any traps of karen and treat everyone equally.
Karen pulled her chair back with such force that it fell backwards onto the floor, shattering the silence with its loud crash. This is not the first time she did.
And with another threatening look at me, Karen marched angrily out of the room, "You'll pay for everything".
I grabbed my books and made my way out of the class. You'll pay for everything...these words were echoing in my ears.
What's the worst she can do?
