lvi||gone?
Running through the halls of Hogwarts, Regulus Black, Alyssa Greengrass and Stanley Harper make it to Professor McGonagall's office just as she's exiting with some graded papers in her hand. The trio skid to a stop in front of the older witch, quickly catching their breath.
"Professor—please! We need to speak to Dumbledore!" Alyssa says frantically and the woman raises her eyebrows at the Slytherin trio, seeing that the usual chocolate eyed Gryffindor girl was nowhere in sight.
"Whatever is the matter?" Minerva asks, eyeing the tallest of the three carefully, seeing his bloodshot eyes and messy hair, his panicked breaths and his clenched fists, his knuckles white.
"It's Maria, Professor." Stan breathes, dragging his fingers through his blonde hair stressfully. "She was taken."
Minerva's face contorts and that's how they find themselves bursting into Dumbledore's office after the witch in her emerald robes, her face concerned and the man with the long beard looks up from some papers on his desk, raising his eyebrows.
Regulus' heart is racing as they do enter, feeling like it might jump out of his chest, his breathes are ragged and panicked and his yes red and bloodshot. His cheeks rosy with anger and stained with sorrowful tears, his jaw locked feeling another sort of rage bubble in his gut as he thinks about what he'd do if he catches the person who took his Ria.
"You need to alert the order." Minerva blurts and Dumbledore raises an eyebrow, as well as the three teenagers who frown slightly. Order?
"May I ask why, Professor McGonagall?"
"It's Maria, Potter." Minerva says, gathering some floo powder making the three raise their eyebrows. "Come on you three, we've got to alert her family!"
They share a look before scrambling over to Minerva, each grabbing a handful of the ash-like powder and waiting until everyone had gone Regulus looks back at Dumbledore who's talking quickly with a painting and the grey haired wizard nods.
"The Potter Manor."
Tucking his limbs in as close as he could, Regulus is taken into the swirling tubes in a roar of bright green flames.
Stumbling slightly, he clashes with Stan's back as he tumbles out of the large fireplace.
"What the fuck! Oh—Minnie?"
Regulus can't blame Remus Lupin for being shocked when he strolled lazily into the Potter living room in his pyjamas, he would be too if three people and a Hogwarts Professor suddenly appeared in his house.
"Moony? What's. . ." Sirius Black walks into the room, his eyes locking on his younger brother. "—going on?"
"Get James." Minerva says to them urgently and the duo share a look.
"James!" The two tell loudly followed by a bang of something clattering to the ground and shuffling upstairs before a messy haired James Potter enters putting his t-shirt on followed by Lily Evans in a large top they assume is James'.
"Gross."
"What's up?" James asks, finally spotting Minerva and the three Slytherins stood in his living room.
"You may want to sit down." Minerva sighs and Regulus runs both his hands through his hair, leaning on his elbows on the wall.
"We don't have time for that." Stan says urgently. "Your sister—Maria, she's been kidnapped."
James laughs before seeing their serious faces and his face slowly drops, staring at them for a second after swallowing. His eyes flicker over each of them before locking on Regulus, clenching his jaw tightly.
"Where is she?" He says slowly and Regulus shakes his head, looking down at the ground, his eyes — already swollen and red — begin to prickle with salty tears again and he runs his hands over his face. "Where the bloody hell is she?!" James shouts, shoving Regulus into the wall.
"I don't fucking know!" Regulus shouts back angrily, grabbing James' shirt and shoving him away from him. "Why do you think we're here, cause I don't really want to be here okay?"
James lets out a shaky breath, stepping away further and pulling Lily into a tight and needed embrace, the red haired muggle-born rubbing his back softly.
"I'll call Alice and Frank." Lily says, her eyes worried as she unwillingly tears herself off her boyfriend to hurry out of the room.
"I'll send a patronus out, see if anyone has seen anything." Remus says, squeezing James' shoulder as he walks out of the room. Sirius is sat, not moving but just staring at the rug with tears glistening in his grey eyes, his hair falling over his face slightly. He looks distant, of course he is, he hasn't seen Maria properly since they argued, only in the hospital wing briefly. Now he's being told that's she's been taken by death eaters and could already be dead.
"How. . ?" James whispers, sinking onto the armchair and running his hands through his mess of brown curls.
"Hogsmead." Alyssa says as Stan side hugs her comfortingly.
Regulus is pacing slightly, taking his hands through his hair and shaking his head and Alyssa grabs his arm to stop him, shaking her head slightly with her own tears in her eyes when a blonde haired girl with here hair in a messy clip at the back of her head alongside a dark skinned girl with extremely thick, curly hair both stroll in wearing pyjamas. Marlene grins brightly when she sees Minerva stood near the fireplace.
"Minnie!" Marlene gasps, letting Dorcas' hand fall from her grasp as she rushes over to the black haired witch, bringing her into a hug.
"What's going on?" Dorcas questions as Peter and Mary also stroll into the room, the Potter Manor must be where they all crash after they've been at work or drinking. Mostly drinking.
"It's Maria, she's missing."

"We've sent a team of aurors out but they haven't gotten back to us." Euphemia breathes stressfully, taking a large breath of a cigarette, mascara staining her rosy cheeks. They had been up all night searching around for Maria, sending out patronus' but nothing good came of it, just loads of dead ends.
"Regulus, is there anyone that might want to hurt Maria that you can think of?" Frank Longbottom asks the question everyone had been wondering at the back of their heads as they sit at the long dining table in the Potter Manor.
"Uhh—I don't know, I mean no one—unless. . ." Regulus' eyes are dazed and trained on the table as he thinks.
"Mulciber had told me his son's been talking." Lucius suddenly says, eyeing Regulus strangely and the boy gulps once more, his head spins slightly at the thoughts of what Reuben could've told his parents about Regulus. "Says he's seen you with some girl recently, Black."
"Rebecca Barnes, I should hope." Orion grunts and Walburga nods along with what her husband says, also eyeing their son.
"Hm, that's not what Reuben's been saying to his father, unless of course, the boy is lying." Lucius shrugs making everyone turn to him.
"Well who was he saying Regulus had been seen with?" Cygnus asks inquisitively, eyeing Lucius suspicion glistening in his dark grey eyes.
"Maria Potter."
"Oh no. . .no, no—no." Regulus whispers, turning around and running his hands over his face.
"What is it?"
"I know where she is. . ." Regulus breathes hoarsely, his eyes already flooded over with tears. "Fuck—why couldn't she have just stayed there?"
"Where is my sister?" James asks urgently and Regulus sighs, turning to them.

Heyyy. Omg, this chapter was so chaotic but short but I promise the next will be longer anyways..
