There stood Erick with his arms around me comforting me and sending tingles all over my skin and his eyes were full of concern. He spoke first, "Do you want to talk about it doll?" I shook my head 'no' and he nodded and left my room with my door slightly ajar.
I was kind of disappointed that he left but I don't know why I felt like that. When I woke up I found him asleep outside my room.
My heart melted at the sight of him with his tie lost around his neck and a few buttons of his shirt open showcasing his defined chiseled chest. Who knew he could be so caring beneath all that ego filled up his ass.
I lightly shook him and he woke up with a start. His eyes squinted because of the sharp sunlight and I burst out laughing because he just looked so adorable! He stood up and was about to leave but I held his hand back.
His touch made me shiver but I ignored that and said, "Thank you, Erick.". He nodded and headed back to my room. I realized that I had my interview in some time so I quickly got dressed and headed to the living room.
Caleb sat there on the table eating avocado toast and I waved to him and told him, "Well I am heading to my interview so I will see you later.". He just nodded as his mouth was full. I was about to leave when Erick came out dressed to the nines and said,
"I could drop you off doll."
"No, I am good"
"I insist"
"A walk will be good for me"
"I beg to differ. I am dropping you and that's final."
"Shove your offer up your ass."
"I would rather shove something else up princess"
I stared wide-eyed at him while he just smirked with amusement clear in his eyes. Caleb finally spoke up, "God, you two are giving me a headache. Just let him drop you Athena, and no funny business Erick." he finished while looking at Erick.
I pouted at that and sent daggers towards Erick. If looks could kill he would be dead by now. After we got out of the mansion-house, Erick walked to his car and I stood staring wide-eyed at it. It was a sleek black BMW that shined in the sunlight with slick black seats.
Erick started the car while I still stood gaping at the car because it looked so marvelous! "Are you getting in or should I drag you myself?"
Erick said while sitting in the driver's seat with a smirk plastered on his face. He seemed so different from the caring Erick side I had seen at night. I muttered a 'coming' and told him the address of the coffee shop.
After we reached he sat looking at the shop and finally said, "In how long are you gonna be back darling?". I said, "I don't know to be honest. I'll be as quick as I can" and ran inside without waiting for him to answer.
The shop was painted in the color pastel pink with a white table with chairs outside and their logo pasted on the top. As soon I entered the café, the fresh aroma of coffee and bread hit me.
I took one more deep breath and went to the person at the cashier and said, "Hey! I am so sorry to disturb you but I had an interview here today and I don't know where I am supposed to go."
The cashier looked up and I was shocked. It was a boy about my age with blonde hair and blue eyes which seemed to shine and he had the cutest dimples ever! We chatted for quite some time and I learned that his name was Alek.

He pointed me to a room and before I stepped inside he said, "I hope you get the job Athena" and winked at me. I blushed and muttered 'thanks'.
When I entered the room, a lady in her mid-thirties sat on the table in the center of the room. She smiled at me and it immediately warmed me up to her.
We had the interview and she asked me questions like my work experience if I liked coffee(no idea why she asked that), any job recommendations, etc. At the end of it, she told me that I had got the job and I could start working from the very next day.
I squealed up with happiness and told her, "Thank you! Thank you! I will be at my very best behavior!" and left the room. Outside stood Alek with a sly smile on his face. I told him cheerily, "I got the job!" and he congratulated me and got back to work. When I finally stepped outside, Erick sat in the car fuming and said, "Took you long enough.".
That immediately ruined my happy mood and neither of us spoke another word till we reached the house. I got down and Erick immediately sped away.
My heart felt empty as soon as he left but I ignored it and went to go look for Caleb. When I finally told him the good news he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer. The proximity made my breath hitch and the fact that he smelled so good didn't help the situation.
I awkwardly took a step back and ran to my room. When my breathing finally normalized one thought was stuck in my head. What the fuck just happened!! We were about to kiss! Oh shit. I made myself promise not to let that happen again as it would only create more problems.
While I was making dinner Caleb entered the kitchen and said, "So the squad will be coming over tonight and it'll be really fun. Please join us!" I nodded and went to my room to get ready. I chose to wear a white shirt with a matching pleated skirt.

When I was finally dressed up I went to the living room to join everyone. When I entered I saw Britney engaged in a conversation with Erick who looked like he would gladly do anything rather than talk to her but she just didn't seem to get the hint. Erick was wearing a blue tux with a button-down white shirt which had the few top buttons open and made him look 100times better. He looked like he just got back from work.

Alexa and Cole were engaged in an interesting conversation on the couch while Alyvia was sitting there bored on her phone while Caleb was nowhere to be seen. I made my way to her and asked her where Caleb was.
She said, "Oooo, what's going on between you and Caleb Athena?? Give me the damn tea girl!!". I shushed her down but it seemed as if everyone had already heard her and Erick was seething with anger, though I had no idea why. When everyone had frozen awkwardly, Caleb entered wearing a grey sweater and blue-black pants underneath, and let me tell you, he looked pretty hot.

He asked everyone to join together in the kitchen for dinner. Dinner was surprisingly fun and the food had turned out amazing. I and Alyvia were talking about my job at the café and she said that she had gone there and it was an amazing place. I wholeheartedly agreed.
After our conversation was done, Caleb joined me on the couch and I opened up a little more to him. He just made me feel warm and comfortable like I could trust him with everything in this world. He kept making jokes which caused me to giggle and every time I looked towards Erick, he was glaring daggers at Caleb.
In the middle of our conversation, he came in and took Caleb with him. What was his problem! In the morning he had been angry with me and now he didn't like seeing me have fun. I tried my best to ignore him but his presence was just too overpowering!
I called it a night and headed to my room but someone grabbed my arm roughly and pulled me in the balcony. It was Britney! "I don't know what shit you are pulling on Erick but just stop! He's mine and always will be. You bitch!" she said. I had no words. I just stood there speechless while she kept on going on and on.
I said, "I am not doing anything. I don't know what the fuck you are talking about Britney." She got real mad and brought her hand up and slapped me! The slap was too much combined with the social anxiety I had because of the evening. My knees became weak and I passed out.
