A/N Shuichi will be a vampire and Kokichi will be a human. This is a supernatural AU. I hope you enjoy this oneshot!

"Somebody? Is anybody out there? Please, I need some help!" I screamed
Suddenly a dark tall figure popped out of nowhere.
"S-Shuichi? I thought you died?"
". . ."
~Flashback To An Hour Ago~
"Hey look Owada-kun! A human! Wait. Somethings up? He's with a vampire." Kuwata-kun said
"Yeah, so what?! That won't stop us from getting a little snack" Owada-kun smirked
". . .Go, Kokichi. Run far away from here. . ." Shuichi whispered into my ear
"W-What. No, I can't leave you. Why would I? After all of the things we've done as a couple?"
". . .It's not safe here. . .I'll buy you some time, go, now!"
"O-Okay"
I ran away from where Shuichi and Owada-kun were fighting. I happened to catch a glimpse of Owada-kun punching Shuichi. It was too late, I couldn't go back, It would be too dangerous. I ran and ran until my legs hurt. I went into an abandoned house for some shelter, and it started to rain. As I walked down the halls I screamed. It had been an hour since I left Shuichi back there with those jerks, who knows what happened to him, he could be dead right now. So much for having faith in my boyfriend.
"Somebody? Is anybody out there? Please, I need some help!"
~Present Time~
"Y-You scared me. Are you okay?"
I stroked Shuichi's face and looked at my hand, blood was on it. That meant that there was a wound on his face.
"Um, come here. I have some bandages in my pocket. let's go put them on in the bathroom" I said
". . .Okay. . ."
I dragged Shuichi down the hall, not knowing where the bathroom was.
". . .Do you not know where the bathroom is?" Shuichi asked
"Um, yeah, I don't"
". . .Why don't we just put the bandages on here?"
"Good question. I don't know."
". . ."
"Here, look at me. I'll put them on now"
I gently wrapped the bandages around Shuichi's head.
"There," I said smiling
Shuichi smiled back at me. I felt like my whole body was about to explode. Shuichi barely ever smiles.
"What do we do now?" I asked
". . .I don't know. . ."
I looked to my side and made my way towards an old rusty window. The sun was starting to rise.
"Shuichi, the sun is rising. What now?"
". . .maybe we can stay here until night. . ."
"Yeah-" I was cut off
"There you are. I finally found you"
A girl with long brown pigtails came up to us with a sword.
"Huh? Really, wow! Maki you do such a great job at finding vampires!" A girl with greenish-brown hair screamed.
"You did better than I expected, Harukawa-san" A girl with glowing red eyes and silky silver-like braids said
". . ."
"What are you doing? Master Kuzuryu is waiting for this vampire's head."
"Great, Kuzuryu's minions" I scoffed
"Degenerate males don't deserve to live, I'm only serving master Kuzuryu because Himiko trusts him."
". . ."
"Why do you guys keep following us? Why haven't you just given up already?" I asked
"Because it is master Kuzuryu's orders. We have to obey him or else. . ." The girl with brown hair started
"Or else we won't be in pretty pieces" The girl with silver-like braids finished
~Flashback~
"Look mom! I made a new friend" I dragged Shuichi's hand towards my mom
"Really that's-. K-Kokichi, get away from him! He's a vampire!" My mom rushed towards me and picked me up in an instant.
"B-But mom, he just wanted to be friends with me"
"Come on we have to leave, this is exactly what I feared!"
"W-What?! Why?! What did you fear, mom?" I asked
"I'll tell you later, right now we need to go!"
Just then I looked behind me to see Shuichi holding a slender woman's hand, she had navy-blue-like hair. On the other side I could see a much bigger hand holding Shuichi's, the founder of the hand had short dark blue hair with yellow eyes. I didn't want to leave Shuichi but he disappeared in a blink of an eye, with the two mysterious figures.
From that day on, Kokichi thought he would never see Shuichi again. But unexpectedly they met at a fountain. Kokichi had a habit of going to this particular fountain and letting the wind catch his letters he wrote to Shuichi. Although, he never expects the letters to get to Shuichi.
"Time to send this letter away," I said to myself
". . .Hey, who are you?" A mysterious figure asked
"Hm?" I turned around to see a familiar face, it was Shuichi"
"Shuichi?"
"Kokichi?"
"Is it really you?" Before I knew it, I had rushed towards Shuichi.
". . .Y-Yeah, it is. . ."
"I missed you so much, where have you been?"
". . .Away. . ."
"Don't play with my emotions like that!" I lightly pushed him away.
Shuichi just smiled, playfully.
"Come with me, my mom had to go to the palace for some. . .business."
". . .Okay. . ."
While we walked back to my cottage, I aske Shuichi a question.
"Hey, Shuichi, what if I asked you to run away with me."
". . ."
"Just us"
"I would go with you."
"Really? You mean it?"
". . .Of course, I don't want to be separated from you again" He smiled at me
"Then, let's run away" I smiled
"Okay, let's run away, together" Shuichi grabbed my hand
"Yeah"
I then packed up all of my belongings, we only had so much time before my mother returned from the palace.
I'll come visit her in the future, for now I'll leave her a "Goodbye" note.
"Alright, let's go, Shuichi"
". . .Okay. . ."
With that, Shuichi and I ran far away from my hometown, we were able to build our own little cottage in the middle of the woods. I thought we would live there forever, in peace, I guess I was wrong. The kingdom's new leader, Kuzuryu, had heard about us, and ordered his loyal hunters to search for us. What a shame. . .
