xx Chapter Six ~ Last First Kiss xx
I felt as if I was floating in midair, flying. The rain that stopped at lunch began pouring down the sky again. We were kissing while the rain drops tumbled down our bodies, soaking us and our clothing. My cloths clung to my skin and so did Finn's, but we didn't care. I felt like I was in a dream! I was kissing Finn Harries in the rain! It was just so romantic and perfect; it felt as if we were acting in a movie!
Then a thought hit me, and I pushed Finn away.
There was instant hurt layered in his eyes which made my heart squeeze. We were both out of breath and at first, I couldn't say anything. We just looked at each other as the rain kept waltzing down the grey sky. Something glowed in his eyes. Was is love?
"What's wrong?" Finn questioned genuinely, his hair was already wet and his white V-neck tee was turning see-through, and it clang to his body so tight that it outlined his biceps and abs. I flushed and looked away.
Seeing my reaction, Finn stepped forward and pulled me into his arms. The icy raindrops no longer felt cold anymore. I buried my head in his chest and finally gained up courage to step back and look at him.
"I'm sorry, Finn. You know I love you, so, so much. I loved both of you since the first time I've watched JacksGap on Youtube. I just don't know how I feel about Jack, and I don't want history to repeat itself again; I'd never hurt you like that." I confessed, feeling guilty and ashamed of myself. Finn tensed up for a second as his glance hardened, but he quickly relaxed and smiled, catching me by surprise.
"I know you love Jack as much as you love me, and you will probably never love me more than him. Normally, I wouldn't do this but because this is you, I want to give both of us a chance." He uttered with a ghost of a smile.
"You're willing to take a chance with me, knowing that you could possibly never be the one that I love the most?" I gasped. He nodded with a smile, and I bursted into tears.
"Can you hear me out, first?" I choked out, and he nodded again. "I'm willing to give you my heart because I trust you enough to take great care of it. My heart had been through a lot, and I know so have yours. I will also take care of yours as you will take care of mine."
"I know, Alex. I know there is a story behind you that pulls me in to listen. I will take care of you," he promised. "Will you be my girlfriend?"
I jumped into his arms. "Of course I will, Finn!"
I could feel him smile, and his heart picked up a speed. I grinned into his broad chest.
"Your heart's racing," he teased with a chuckle.
"So is yours," I shot back, giggling.
"I know, it's been like that since the second I saw you. Do you think I should visit the doctor's?"
I flushed and grinned foolishly up at him. We pulled back, and he held my hands and started leading me into his house.
As we entered the house, a rush of warmth surrounded me as well as the scent of chicken noodle soup. I almost drooled, I forgot that I still haven't eaten dinner yet.
"Oh Finny! Is that you?" A sweet female voice sang. I giggled, his mom was so much like mine. A second after we took our shoes off, a women almost in her middle-ages approached us with a wide smile on her face. She was well dressed and walked as if she glided. As soon as she saw me, her smile became larger as her beautiful eyes twinkled with excitement and joy.
"Yes, mom. It's me." Finn replied dully. Mrs. Harries ignored him and took me in.
"Well, well, Finnegan. What a gorgeous young lady you have there! Who might you be?" She complimented as she smiled delightfully at me.
"Thank you, Mrs. Harries. My name is Alexandra, and I arrived recently at the same company as Finn. It's so nice to meet you," I greeted politely as I returned her smile.
"Mom, do you think you could get us some towels? Alex and I would be in my room." Finn asked.
"Sure! You kids go have fun, now, but not too much fun," she teased. I couldn't help but giggle. Finn began leading the way up to his room. The Harries house was spacious, neat, and cozy. No wonder Kimmi had stayed for so long when she was here.
Finn and I both stepped into his room. It was better than most guys' rooms but it was still a little bit disorganized at places. I recognized things from his YouNow broadcasts. Mrs. Harries zoomed to Finn's room and handed us the towels before leaving with a wink.
Finn handed me one of his white T-shirts and gestured for me to change.
"Um, Finn. I was wondering if I could borrow a pair of your boxers, this might be too short to act as a dress for me." I questioned shyly, not meeting his eyes. He shot me an apologetic look before handing me a clean pair of Calvin Klein boxers.
"Sorry. The bathroom is right outside the door," he informed me. I nodded and walked to the washroom.
I striped off all my wet cloths except for my bra and quickly threw over Finn's T-shirt and noticed it smelled like him. I grinned to myself childishly and stepped into his boxers. I examined myself in the mirror. The shirt was big on me since Finn's shoulders were broader than mine. It was also defiantly too short to act as a dress since it went down to about only 5 cm below my butt. I sighed, and grabbed my dirty clothes with me.
When I returned to Finn's room, he had on a clean grey T-shirt, that brought out the slight grey in his eyes, with dark-wash jeans. He looked at me and smirked. I blushed and rolled my eyes. He held out a bag for me to put my wet cloths in, and I dumped them in.
"It's a bit short," I commented awkwardly. He tried to hide his laugh but failed.
"I think it's perfect,"
I rolled my eyes just when the door flew open as someone yelled, "Finny! Do you want to do a YouNow with me lat-"
"Oh hey, Alex! Didn't know you were here," Jack grinned as he took me in before examining both Finn and I. "I see. There's something going on, isn't there?"
"What? What are you talking about?" I blabbed as Finn frowned slightly.
"Don't lie to me, Alex. I know there's something going on between you two. Admit it!" Jack claimed with his wiggling eyebrows.
"Yes, Jack. We're dating," Finn confessed with an eye roll.
Jack suddenly looked shocked and just stared at us. There was something that flashed in his eyes that I couldn't make out.
"That great," he stated simply. Finn shot him a confused look as I simply smiled.
"Anyway, Alex, do you want to join us on YouNow? I'm about to start in fifteen minutes," Jack offered, returning to his usually self.
I beamed at him. "Sure,"

"Hello, internet!" Jack shouted to the screen. There were already three thousand people watching us. The three of us were in Jack's room, sitting in front of his computer. I sat beside Jack, and Finn sat in the middle behind us, his elbow leaning on my chair. I actually found the experience of doing the broadcast with the boys quite exciting.
"How are you guys doing? If you don't know who we are, my name is Jack, and I make videos on youtube to entertain people." Jack started. "This is my brother, Finn, and this girl, who none of you have seen before, is Alex."
Finn and I greeted the viewers.
"Alex, do you want to introduce yourself?" Jack asked with an encouraging smile. I nodded and scooted closer.
"Hey guys, my name is Alex, and I'm a new member of the Youtube crew. I am going to start making videos so I hope you guys will enjoy them," I said with a smile. I glanced at Jack and Finn, and they both grinned.
"So my plan for today is to talk to you guys about VidCon which will be happening next month and then answer some of your questions, then maybe even open some twin mail. What do you guys think of that? Good? Good? Okay but first do you guys see how Sam is the top on the list this month? I want to beat him and if I do, I'll call him up and tell him about it,” Jack blabbed on about the website, signing into Facebook and fanning him. Afterwards, Jack started to talk about VidCon so Finn and I started our own little conversation about what being a youtuber was like.
Our conversation ended when Jack finished talking about VidCon and all of us started to skim the screen for some questions. Finn started to read some out loud.
“How old is Alex?” He read.
“I’m currently 18 years old,” I replied with a smile, flattered that the first question was about me.
“How tall are you?” Jack read. “Well, both Finn and I are about 5’11. What about you, Alex?”
“I’m 5’9.”
“Favourite quality to look for in a girlfriend or boyfriend,” Finn read, then quickly shot me a glance and smirked broadly.
“Cheekiness.” The twins announced in unison, then bursted into laughter.
“For me, it’s probably humor.” I said, grinning at the boys.

The hour passed quickly and before we knew it, it was already 11:00 PM, and I knew I should’ve been heading home but the thought of returning to that deserted, lonely penthouse made me cringe.
Finn and I had already returned to his room and when I said that it was time for me to leave, he noticed my unwillingness. Being the gentleman he was, he asked, “Do you want to stay with me today?”
What? Spent the night with him? Oh my goodness, I must be dreaming! This is all happening too fast! We haven’t even been on a date yet!
Reading my mind, Finn chuckled, “Alex, I’m not going to do anything with you, if that’s what you’re thinking. I’m not an animal. If you want, you can sleep in the extra bedroom beside mine.”
I flushed and nodded. Oh how much I wanted to stay with him.
“I think we should ask Mrs. Harries if I can stay,” I suggested. Finn grinned and patted my head as if I was a kid.
“You’re so cute, Alex. Fine, I’ll ask.” Finn gave in with a sigh. I smiled gratefully at him.
Finn walked out of the room and I took the time to examine the single bed. When he came back a minute later, he had a huge grin on his face. I shot him a quizzical look.
“What did Mrs. Harries say?” I asked curiously as Finn sat on the bed and patted the spot next to him.
“She didn’t say anything, she just grinned and winked at me.” Finn replied as I sat down. I immediately looked away and blushed furiously. He chuckled as he started to stripe off his T-shirt.
“Wait! Finn! What are you doing?” I asked with panic-filled voice. Finn stopped and his eyes widened as if suddenly he just realized that I was there.
“I usually sleep like this,” he answered, releasing his T-shirt and letting it cover his body again. “Oh, I see. You decided to sleep with me.”
I nodded and blushed at how that sounded. Finn grinned and gestured for me to get in the bed first. I obeyed wordlessly.
I climbed in and faced the wall, I knew he was in as well when I felt more weight on the bed and his body warmth. His bed was designed for only one person so Finn’s chest was pressed closely against my back. I felt his breath on my neck, making my body stiff and unable to move.
“Relax,” he cooed, and I did just that when he wrapped one of his arms around my waist and pulled me in. Everything was quiet and so peaceful. Finn reached to turn off the lights. I couldn’t help but being greedy for more of him. I wanted us to stay like this till the end of time.
“Finn, will you stay with me forever?” I knew it was a stupid question to ask, but I couldn’t help myself. I was a foolish girl in stupid, crazy, love.
“Forever.” He vowed as his arms returned around my waist. I couldn’t help but smile.
“Good night, Finn.” I whispered as I closed my eyes. Finn kissed the back of my head.
“Sweet dreams, Alex.” He murmured before I drifted off into a deep sleep.
