After about 3 hours:
Mishti woke up and slowly opened her eyes. She found herself on the hospital bed and a mask on her face.
She recalled how she was in the chemistry lab and she had fainted.
The nurse came to check and saw Mishti.
Mishti could not speak because of the oxygen mask on her face. The nurse slowly removed the mask and made Mishti sit up slowly.
N: aap kaisa feel kar rahi ha ?
M: main theek hoo ( her voice was low)
N: waise aap bahot lucky ha ki aapko aisa caring aur loving husband mile.
Mishti was shocked to the core
M: jii ? Mere husband ?
N: haa wahi jo aapko yaha le aaye aur aapki kitni fikar ha.
Mishti got an other shock
N: aap aaram kijiye main aati hoo
Mishti nodded and thought: kon ha yeh " mere loving husband" ? Kon laya ha muje yahan ?
Meanwhile Abir was waiting outside. The doctor came and said: Mr Abir, aapki wife ko hosh aa gaya ha! Aap unse mil sakta ha. Chaliye mere sath.
Abir flashed a smile and thought:" iss angry Chorni ko thoda chidata hoo."
Mishti was still wondering about her so called husband.
Suddenly the doctor entered and said: " dekhiye.. apki wife bilkul theek hai"
Mishti looked up to find Abir with the doctor.
A: haa doctor "meri wifey" bilkul theek haa.. thanks to you (winked at Mishti)
Mishti looked at him with her eyes wide in surprise.
D: Mishti, are you ok?
Mishti only managed to nod.
D: aab breathing problem ho rahi ha ?
M: ji nahi dr, I am ok
D: good. Aap aaram kijiye,aur ha you are indeed so lucky, aapke husband bahot care karte ha aur bahot..
A: bas bas dr muje apni tarif sunna pasand nahi haa..
The doctor smiled at them and left.
M: Abir tum ?
A: haa main! Tum aur kisse expect kar rahi thi ?
M: nahi matlab.. aur yeh kya husband husband kar rahe the yeh log ?
A: wahi jo unhe laga ( he winked )
Mishti blushed and looked down.
Abir s heart fluttered at her blush. He got his indication that she loves him too. He just wanted to tell her that he loves her and protect her in his arms.
He realised that nor it was the right moment neither the right place.
He controlled himself and sat next to her.
He held her hands and touched them with his forehead.
A: I am so sorry Mishti. Muje maaf kar do please 🥺
M: tum politician ho ?
Shararti bacche ke papa ho ?
Tumne koi galti ki ha ?
Abir nodded no and smiled.
M: nahi ho toh sorry kyu kaha ?
A: vo tum mere kehne pe chemistry lab main gaye aur yeh sab..
M: Abir.. bas.. main theek ho na.. aur ha ab sorry bola toh tumhari katii
A: accha baba nahi bolunga... Bas
M: hmm.. tum muje yaha laye ?
A: haa.. ab thanks mat bolna varna main bhi tumse katii
M: you Ajeeb rajvansh. ( She made a cute pout)
Abir wanted to kiss her pout but again he controlled.
A: aacha tum aaram karo main tumhare discharge ka dekh ke aya..
M: theek ha jao
Before leaving Abir stepped dangerously close to Mishti
Mishti s heart beat increased by his close proximity.
M: Abi..Abir.. tum... Ky..kya kar...rahe.. ho ?
A: vo kya na yaha inko lagta ha ki main tumhara husband hoo..
M: to..toh.. ky .kya ?
A: toh yeh ki main toh bas itna kehna aya tha.. ki meri nakli wifey apna Dhyan rakho... Aur kuch nahi..
Mishti relaxed a bit and hit Abir on his arm
Abir ran out smiling and seeing her state when he comes close to her.
A: bye angry Chorni!
Mishti stared at him.
Abir:(thinking) pyaar toh tum bhi karti ho angry Chorni. Aab bas man lo aur hamesha ke liye meri ban jao. I love you yar angry Chorni. Aur haa tum bahot jald nakli se meri asli wifey banogi..
Mishti smiled to herself and she thought of Abir. She had noticed a change in him, his behaviour and a spark in his eyes. He had turned more caring and his closeness was too much for her to handle.
Mishti was thinking: kya ho gaya ha muje? Abir pass ata ha na toh meri bolti band ho jati ha.. achnak se sab accha lagne lagta ha..
Hey Kanhaji, is confusion ka solution jaldi doo please.
After 1 hour
All the discharge process was done and Mishti was ready to go back to her apartment.
K: chale Mishti?
M: haa bff!
As she put her leg down, she screamed in pain and Abir ran to her.
A: kya hua?
M: vo pair dard kar rha ha.. shayd twist ho gaya ha..
The very next moment Abir picked up Mishti in his arms.
Mishti was stunned but she did not protest.
Kartik smiled and winked at Abir.
M: Abir, main dheere dheere chal sakti thi.. yeh.. iski zaroorat nahi..
A: tum na chup raho angry Chorni. Tumhe koi problem ha ?
M: nahi.. lekin..
A: nahi ha na.. toh chup raho.. yeh Abir ki special treatment ha.. Jo sabko nahi milte haa..
Mishti smiled in happiness and enjoyed her small special treatment in Abir s arms. She wanted this moment to never end. Abir also wanted the same.
Soon they reached the college.
Mishti held Abir and Kartik s hand and slowly reached her apartment.
Mishti was happily surprised when she found Naira, Erica, Parth and Varun waiting for her. Naira and Erica hugged her.
Mishti was super happy to receive so much love.
Naira had cooked food for all.
After having food, all left except Varun
V: bye Mishti, bye Abir
Mishbir: bye Varun
V: I hope you both get what you want.
Abir nodded and smiled while Mishti did not understand.
After he left, Abir came to Mishti.
A: chalo ab sona ha..u need rest na..
M: nahi na..Abir.. pura din hospital main sooie hoo
A: toh kya karna ha?
M: kuch bhi
A: movie dekhogi ?
M: haa
A: konsi movie ? Hindi ya English ?
M: aah.. Hindi
A: ok.. konsi ?
M: yeh jawani ha deewani!
A: wah wah achi choice ha tumhari.
Mishti smiled and Abir set up everything for the movie.
M: Abir tum mere pass baitho
A: lekin?
M: kaha na yahan baitho
He did not argue and sat next to her on the sofa. They were enjoying the movie, and suddenly Abir felt some weight on his shoulders.
He saw Mishti had slept on his shoulders.
He smiled at her and stared at her lovingly. Slowly he picked her up and placed her on the bed and put a blanket on her.
He whispered : I love you Mishti.
The next few days passed very quickly. Mishti was better all thanks to Abir. He took care of her every need and stuck around her like Fevicol. He also took permission from the sir to allow her to rest. He took care of her and also attended his classes..
Mishti was feeling lucky and blessed to have him by her side. Unknowingly her love grew more stronger.
One day:
K: Abir, tune kaha usse?
A: nahi yar
K: toh kab bolega?
A: lekin Kartik?
K: Abir yar! Bata de usse.. vo tuje judge nahi karegi.. na tuje chod ke jayegi..
A: theek ha aaj bol dunga..
At night, after dinner
A: Mishti, muje tumse kuch khena ha
M: ha Abir, bolo na.
A: Mishti baat thodi serious ha..
M: tum aur serious baat ?
A: Mishti please.
Mishti sensed the seriousness in his voice. Her heart started beating fast.
M: ok bolo
A: yaha nahi.. meri room main chalo.
So Mishti followed him in the room.
A: bed pe baitho Mishti.
She nodded and sat on the bed.
A: Mishti. Aaj main tumhe apne bare main sab kuch bataunga... Sab kuch jo meri life se juda ha.
M: lekin Abir.. aisa kya hua ha?
A: dekho Mishti... main bhi janta hoo aur tum bhi janti hoo ki hum dono kafi close ha ek dusre ke.. toh main chahta hoo ki main apni life ka vo hissa tumhare saath share karo. Agar tum sunna chahogi toh.
M: Abir yar. Main zarror sunungi. Tum mere sab se khaas friend ho.. aur meri badi maa kehti ha ki kisika dard baatna sabse accha hota ha. Tum muje sab kuch bataoo.. main sunungi aur ha tumhe judge nahi karungi..
Abir felt so nice and so proud of her. He felt lucky that she was the love of his life. She was so mature and understanding. He said in his mind:" I love you Mishti bahot pyaar karne laga hoo tumse.."
M: tumhe kuch kaha?
A: nahi toh.. kyu ?
M: nahi.. muje aisa feel hua ki tum kuch bole..
A:(thinking) wo toh hoga hi na.. kyuki humare dil jud chuke ha Mishti... Tum tak meri unkahi baat bhi poch gayi..
M: haa Abir toh bolo
A: toh suno:
Mera baba Mr Mehul Kapadia ek bahot bade business man the. Hum sab acche se Mumbai main rehte haa.. main bahot chota tha aur Kuhu was few weeks old.
Baba ke ek business partner the Mr Sinha. Sab kuch theek se chal raha tha.
Ek din Sinha ne papa ko bataya ki hume Rajkot, Gujrat shift hona hoga.
Kyuki business clients waha zyda ha. Toh hum Mumbai se Rajkot chale gaye.
Mishti nodded in surprise and said: wow Abir, main bhi Rajkot se hu!.
A: kya ?
M: haa.. accha phir ?
A: toh dheere dheere hum Rajkot main settle ho gaye. Main 5th main tha aur Kuhu thodi badi hui.
Ek din Mr Sinha ki beti Pooja baba ke pass rote hua aaye. Vo ek dursi community ke ladke se pyar karti thi aur Sinha ne mana kar diya tha unke rishte ko.
Toh Pooja ne baba ki help mangi. Vo aur uska boyfriend India chod ke jane wale the, bas ek raat ka sahara chahiye tha.
Phle toh baba ne mana kiya, phir Pooja ne bahot request ki toh baba in dono ko outhouse main le aaye. Vo log durse din subah chale gaye.
Jaise din khula, Sinha ko pata laga ki Pooja bhaag gayi ha. Usne pata lagaya ki baba ne uske help ha.
Bas phir, vo seedha police le ke humare ghar aya aur baba ko arrest kar liya.
Maa kuch nahi kar saki, phir mere nanu ne help ki aur baba ko bahar nikala.
Baba ko sab log doshi ki nazar se dekhne lage. Koi unke sath business nahi karna chahta tha.
Vo depression main chale gaye. Na baat karte the na kuch.
Phir ek din, vo inn sab ke tang aa kar, samundar main khood gaye.
Maa aur hum sab toot Gaye. Kuch samaj nahi aa rha tha.
Tab main sirf 10 saal ka tha. Phir Kaushal mama aur Nanu ne hume sambhala.
Lekin maa. Unka behaviour raato raat badal gaye. Vo ekdum bossy ban gayi. Meri haar baat pe rok tok karne lage. Muje ekdum kaid kar diya, apne niyam ke jail main.
Kuhu ko mamu ne shambal liya aur usse iss sab se door hi rakha.
Jaise jaise main bada hota gaya, meri aur Maa ke beech bahot difference ane lage. Main unke control main nahi tha. Na unke pass meri baat sunne ka time tha. Vo sirf muj par hukam chalti thi.
Unhe lagta tha ki main apne baba jaise na banu.
Abir broke down after saying all this.
Mishti felt bad for him. She never knew that Abir Rajvansh who kept smiling and making others laugh was hiding so much pain inside him. She immediately engulfed him in a bear hug and he also cried his heart out.
After breaking the hug:
A: I am so sorry Mishti, maine tumhe bhi emotional kar diya.
M: nahi.. kya ajeeb Rajvansh tum bhi..
Tum vo dad ho jiske bete ne ca pass kiya ha?
Tum beti ke papa ho ?
Tumne bhagban film dekhi ha ?
M: nahi na.. toh phir ?
Abir smiled and nodded no, only his angry Chorni could make him smile, even in the weakest moment.
M: phir kya hua?
A: phir.. ek din Sinha humare ghar aaya. Usne maa se bahot argue kiya aur baba ke bare main bahot bura bhala kaha aur bola ki main bhi apne baba ke jaise banunga.
Maine sari baatein sun li.
Phir main akele.main roo raha tha tab nanu ne muje sari baatein samjaye.
Nanu mere bahot close ha. Phir maa aur mere beech aur problems hone lagi. Time beet gaya aise hi..
Tab tak meri schooling ho gaye thi.
Main bahut dukhi rehta tha, lekin mera dost Kartik bana. Vo log humare next wala ghar main rehte the.
Kartik aur main acche dost ban gaye the. Vo aur main ek hi college main the.
Phir 2nd year main usne college chod diya as uski family Udaipur shift ho gaye. Phir hum abhi mile itne saalo baad.
M: oh tum bff ko phele se jante the?
A: haa..
M: phir ?
A: phir boards ke baad maine college join ki. Ghar ki negativity ke karan main zyda baat nhi karta tha.
Kartik humesha se kehta tha ki friends banao par main akela hi rehta tha. Phir ek din vo aayi.
M: kon vo?
A: vo aayi, jise main shant pani samja tha.. par..
Mishti suddenly started feeling jealous and insecure. She did not know whom was Abir talking about, but she did not like it.
Her expressions changed immediately and she frowned.
Phew! A long update. I have divided this chapter into two parts.
