Y/n: "How do I look?"
Gilgamesh: "Great my son"
I look over to see my father giving me a soft smile.
Y/n: "What's wrong?"
Gilgamesh: "Nothing. Seeing you like this, matured. I can't help but smile as my child is becoming the man I wished him to be"
I nod as I take his words in.
Gilgamesh: "So, what do you plan to do?"
Y/n: "What do you mean?"
Gilgamesh: "As far as I'm aware, Weiss is a huntress and you are a prince. I understand if you want to continue venturing the world and all, but eventually you'll have to come back and rule Uruk once I'm done"
Y/n: "Yea... I think I have an idea on what I want to do"
I look over to the mirror as I take out a little black box I had stored in Babylon. Gilgamesh looks over to see it and smiles.
Gilgamesh: "I see..."
I hold it in my hand while thinking about what to say.
Y/n: "What do you think?"
Gilgamesh: "If that's what you want, take it. Grab that goal and pursue it. Go out and conquer your greatest treasure, my son"
I send it back to Babylon as I look at myself once more. My father's hands grab onto my shoulders as he gives it a little squeeze.
Gilgamesh: "You've made me proud Y/n. I'll give some advice"
He pulls me to the side and sit down.
Gilgamesh: "Don't be hesitant, but don't hurry the process up. If you feel like you really love Weiss, then hold onto that feeling until you're ready. Don't mess it up either by doing it so early though. You'll just end up confusing the girl and end up going through tough times together. Give her some time until you find the right opportunity to make your move"
Y/n: "Is that what you did with mom?"
Gilgamesh: "Something like that"
Y/n: "I got it"
Gilgamesh: "Well then, I hope things are going smoothly with your mother"
We both exit the room and over hear some arguing.
Y/n: "That doesn't sound good"
We leave after paying and go towards the ruckus.
Weiss: "I'm telling you it's fine Hakuno!!"
Hakuno: "Just call me mom!! And no, I'll pay for it!!!"
Gilgamesh: "What the hell is happening?!"
Y/n: "Weiss?"
Weiss: "You caught me. I didnt want you to see it until the ball. Well then, now that you've seen it, do you like it?"
I stunned and couldn't say anything.
Gilgamesh: "I'll answer for him since he's out of words. He loves it"
Mother runs up to father and pulls him to the counter.
Hakuno: "Weiss won't let me pay for the dresses!!"
Gilgamesh: "Hm?"
Hakuno: "As her future mother-in-law and your wife, I demand you tell her I will pay for it with your kingly authority"
Gilgamesh: "What?"
Weiss: "I really do appreciate the kind gesture but I don't want to waste your money on-"
Gilgamesh: "Waste my money?"
Father and I lock eyes and burst into laughter.
Weiss: "What? What's so funny?!"
Y/n: "Let me guess, you think our fortune will run out if we buy you that dress?"
Weiss: "It'll surely be depleted. It's really expensive-"
We laugh amongst ourselves once more as Weiss gets annoyed.
Weiss: "What's so funny?!"
Mother arrives with a lot of clothes and dumps them on the table.
Hakuno: "I'll be taking these for her as well"
Weiss: "Moth-Hakuno?!"
Y/n: "Weiss, let me let you know something before I let my mother pay for it"
I walk up to her and put my mouth to her ear which seemed to cause her to jump a little.
Weiss: "W-Why are so c-?!"
Y/n: "Our wealth.. is unlimited"
She was immediately stopped and confused.
Weiss: "Did you just say-?"
Y/n: "Yep"
Hakuno: "Here you go"
Mother hands the lady her card and pays for everything. Once she gets it back, I store it into Babylon.
Hakuno: "Gil"
Gilgamesh: "What is it?"
Hakuno: "Can I buy these!!"
Gilgamesh: "They are yours"
Mother ran off to pay but tripped.
Hakuno: "Oof"
Before her face could hit the ground, a golden chain wrapped itself around her to avoid any damage.
??: "You must be careful now. You wouldn't want the king to be upset and blow the store up for letting his queen get injured now"
Hakuno: "It's you"
Enkidu: "Hello Hakuno, it's been a while"
Gilgamesh and Enkidu looked at each other.
Both: "Tch"
The looked away at the same time with a look of disgust.
Weiss: "Who is she?"
Y/n: "He's my father's bestfriend"
Weiss: "Wait he?!"
Y/n: "Yep. That's my uncle Enkidu. Right now, my father and him have bad blood"
Weiss: "Why?"
Gilgamesh: "What do you think you are doing here you cheating, lying mongrel?"
Enkidu: "Ereshkigal told me that you had said something about Y/n possibly being in danger. I came to see how he was doing"
Gilgamesh: "Well, you can see he's fine now. You can go"
The two were glaring at each other while Hakuno stood up.
Weiss: "What caused them to get like this?"
She saw the serious look at my eyes and thought of the worst.
Y/n: "Chess"
She stopped and looked over at me with a poker face.
Weiss: "What?"
Enkidu: "I told you I didn't cause the earthquake!!"
Gilgamesh: "So an earthquake suddenly hit exactly as I was about to win?!"
Enkidu: "YES!!!"
Gilgamesh: "Lia-!!"
Hakuno: "ENOUGH!!"
She kicks Enkidu in the back of his leg and rushes over to kick father in the shin.
Gilgamesh: "Damn you, you daring woman!!"
Hakuno: "I've had enough of this petty fight. You two will make up now, am I clear?"
The two looked at each other with anger. Mother took out her key and reached into Babylon to pull out a golden fry pan.
Hakuno: "I said.. Am. I. Clear?"
Both: "Yes ma'am"
They were on their knees as they looked at mother while terrified. Funny enough, even on their knees, mother is still shorter than them.
Hakuno: "Now, shake hands"
The two reluctantly looked at each other and reached over for the other's hands. Mother slammed the fry pan onto the table, cracking the thing through. This caused them to immediately shake hands.
Both: "I apologize"
Mother sends it back and leaves money for the damages.
Weiss: "Your mother is scary"
Y/n: "I know that all too well"
Enkidu gets up and hugs Hakuno.
Enkidu: "I'm so happy to see you again"
Hakuno: "Same here"
He walks over to me but stops as he sees Weiss.
Enkidu: "I see you are doing well"
He quickly looks at Weiss and begins inspecting her.
Enkidu: "Is this one of your many wives?"
Weiss: "You're married already?!"
Y/n: "She is my only wife"
Weiss: "I am no-"
Y/n: "Future wife"
Weiss: "..."
Enkidu: "I see"
He hugs her as well and let's her go with a big smile.
Enkidu: "Welcome to the family!! You can call me father or mother. Whichever you like"
Gilgamesh & Hakuno: "She will not!!!"
Enkidu: "I thought we were all a family?"
Gilgamesh: "We are but he is still Hakuno and my son"
Enkidu: "Fair enough"
Weiss: "Are you that other lady's husband? What was her name.. Ishtar?"
Enkidu's eye twitched the moment her name was mentioned.
Gilgamesh: "Oi, don't mention that mongrel around him"
Weiss: "Why is-"
Enkidu: "That bitch!! And I being married?! I rather kill myself again then have to be tied to her!!!"
Weiss: "Again?!"
Y/n: "I'll explain it like this, my family tree. Firstly, you have my mother, Hakuno, and my father, Gilgamesh. You have Enkidu who's my father's best friend and basically his brother"
Enkidu: "Or sister. Whichever you prefer"
Weiss: "I'm so confused on what he is now?"
Y/n: "He's a man with the face a gorgeous woman. You take your choice. Now, you have me and my sister who are my parent's children. On my side, you have my Godmother, Ereshkigal. On my sister's side, you have Ishtar and Faker. They have a son who just so happens to have the same name as I. He's my rival"
Hakuno: "He seems like a good kid"
Gilgamesh: "He is not to be left near my daughter!!"
Hakuno: "I wasn't going to say that.. Speaking of which, we left Angelica behind again. I'll go pick her-"
Father paused her and remembered Ishtar going to their home to stay for a bit... all of them. Mother notices father looking irritated and closes his eyes as he focuses hard.
Y/n: "What are you doing?"
Gilgamesh: "Silence!! I'm doing my duty as a father"
Mother tilted her head as Enkidu looked at father curiously. Soon after, a gate opens up beside him.
??: "WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR DEAL?!"
Y/n: "Angelica?!"
Weiss: "That's your sister?!"
Enkidu: "All the family is here!!"
Father releases her from the chains as he walks over to her.
Gilgamesh: "I'll be bringing you along with us on this trip"
Angelica: "Why? It's not like we are family"
Gilgamesh: "Yes we are. You are my daughter-"
Angelica: "Then why haven't I been treated like I am? All you've ever had time for was Y/n. You never made time for me. I'm your family aren't I. You've never once glanced at me before but suddenly you want to act like a father out of nowhere?"
Hakuno: "Angelica!!"
Angelica: ".. Whatever, bring me along if you want. My stance isn't going to change on you"
She walks up to him and bares her teeth at him with anger.
Angelica: "Ever since I was born, I've hated you"
She walks away as Enkidu pats my back and goes to get her.
Hakuno: "I'll go talk to her.. Gil, you know she didn't mean-"
Gilgamesh: "That's fine. I'm okay. Go with Enkidu and make sure she's safe. Yell for me if you need me"
She nods and takes off while Weiss looks around at the awkward situation.
Gilgamesh: "I apologize for the scene you just witnessed Weiss. My daughter and I haven't really had the best relationship-"
Y/n: "She's right though"
Weiss: "Y/n!!"
Father looked at me and noticed I was serious.
Y/n: "All you ever did was train me and teach me how to be a king in the future. You never made time for her. Why did you chose to suddenly want to try and get along with her after so many years of abandoning her?"
Gilgamesh: "..."
Weiss: "Y/n, why are you-"
Gilgamesh: "He's right"
He sits down and looks at the floor.
Gilgamesh: "I've been a shit father to my own daughter. I have no right to force her to come or to try and make things up to her... When I heard about how that damn Archer's boy was getting close to her.. I don't know what happened. I wanted to take care of her and never let her go"
Y/n: "That's selfish"
Gilgamesh: "I know. For whatever reason.. I don't want to let my daughter go now. Listening that your child might get taken away became the scariest thing I ever heard despite not once spending time with her"
Y/n: "So.. What are you going to do about it?"
Gilgamesh: "I want to get closer to my daughter. I don't want to ignore her existence like I did before. I want to have a real relationship with her"
Y/n: "That's up to her to decide. You just got to wait and accept her decision once she's thought about it. Leave it to mom. She's the one she really loves out of all of us"
Gilgamesh rubs his forehead.
Gilgamesh: "Yea, you got me there"
