Jade palace (Present Time)
It was around afternoon with the sun, and the dragon warrior and the furious five have been sparring in the training hall. Until Master Shifu, walked in holding Ogway staff.
Shifu: "Students that is enough training for the day, you have the rest of the day off for yourselves."
He informed his students, they bowed and left the training hall.
They all walked to the barracks for lunch, they where all silent until Viper spoke.
Viper: "So, what are you guys going to do for the day?"
She asked.
Po: "well I'm going to test my new telescope, my dad got for me last week." He ran to this room, and showed his telescope to them. "And since the palace is so high up, it will be easy to see a lot of things." "What about you Crane?"
Crane: "I will probably work, on my calligraphy."
He replied.
Monkey: "I think I'll test out that new telescope, with you Po.l
Monkey said smiling
Mantis: "me too."
He said grinning with Monkey, on his shoulder.
Viper: "why the sudden interest in telescope."
She asked
Mantis: "think about it Viper, close up look on the Valley of peace."
Monkey: "close up on the people."
He pressed on.
Mantis: "which means a close up look, on the lovely girls too."
He smirked
Viper and Tigress both rolled their eyes, "boys "they thought.
Viper: "I actually don't want to think, about that and you two disgust me." "I think I'm going to go shopping, their having a sale on ribbons and I've had my eye on some."
Crane: "I'll keep an eye on the pair for you, just to make sure your still acting like Kung fu masters."
Crane said eyeing Monkey and Mantis.
Barrack Kitchen
They ruched the barrack kitchen and Po noticed, a certain feline has been looking down and being silent the whole trip.
Po: "what about you Tigress?" "What are you gonna do?"
Po asked
She looked up to see all of them looking at her, waiting for an answer.
Tigress: I think I'm just going to go on a walk, in fact I think I'll start now."
She got from the table and walked out the door.
Po: "what about lunch?"
Called out to her.
Tigress: "I'll get some in the village!"
She shouted from the hallway.
Po: "well more for Po."
He started to make the noodles.
Mantis: "dude you did not just say that."
Po: "I said it, and I'm proud of it."
Palace courtyard
They had finished their lunch a while ago, and decided to sit on the roof above the courtyard. Crane had just finished his calligraphy, and decided to join them. Viper returned with two new ribbons, and joined them as well.
They where all taking turns, with the telescope and it was Mantis turn.
Mantis: "what's she up to?"
He whispered as he looked through the telescope, with his right eye.
Viper: "you better not be, checking out girls!" She said annoyed "it's not professional!"
She added.
Mantis: "it's just Tigress."
He said removing his eye, from the telescope.
Crane: "really what she doing?"
He asked
This time Monkey grabbed the telescope from Mantis, and looked through it.
Monkey: "she just walking in the bamboo forest.. but she looks behind her every few seconds."
Mantis: "maybe she hears something."
He said.
Po: "hmm let me see." He said taking the telescope away from Monkey. But then he noticed, and saw a tall cloaked figure walking through the bushes. "There some guy.. walking a few yards behind her... he looks suspicious."
??: "who looks suspicious?"
A voice came from behind them. They all turned around to see, Master Shifu with his hands behind his back.
Po: "W.. We where just testing out my new telescope, and saw Tigress in the bamboo forest-."
He said, but Monkey cut him off.
Monkey: "and some guy in a cloak, who seems to be following her where she goes."
Monkey finished. Shifu thought for a moment, while stroking his beard.
Shifu: "hmm if what you say is true, then we should go and follow him." Just in case he is up to no good, let's go!"
Shifu father instincts kicked in.
They all jumped off the roof, expect for Po who stumbled off and headed for the bamboo forest together.
Bamboo Forest
Tigress was just walking in the peace and quiet, until she heard rustling coming from the green bushes behind her. She turned her head to the right, but saw nothing and kept walking.
Then her ears perked up again, and she turned around and got into a defensive stance.
Tigress: "who's there!"
She shouted.
Then she heard familiar voices,she knew who those voices where. Tigress turned around, so she could sneak upon them. She hid behind a huge grey rock, and looked up to search for her friends. But then she saw someone, wearing a black cloak.
Tigress: "who are you?"
She asked, she was weary of the stranger.
The figure turned and was about to speak, until they heard a voice,
Po: "Hello, Tigress!"
Tigress turned her attention to her friends, and saw Po, Shifu and the rest of the five running to her.
But when she turned to face the stranger again, the stranger had disappeared. She was about to call for the stranger again, but the others reached up to her.
Tigress: "what are you guys, doing here?"
She asked.
Shifu: "I was told by my students, that they saw a suspicious stranger following you." "So, we came to investigate."
Her Master explained.
Tigress: "well whoever you saw following me, just heard Po voice and ran off."
She said truthfully.
Mantis: "nice going Po, your yelling scared him away."
Mantis praised.
Po: "aw calm down guys, it just probably-."
Po began
Viper: probably what?"
She asked in concern.
Po: "probably a uh.... a lost traveler." "Yeah.. a lost traveler.l
Po said, trying to solve the case of the stranger.
Crane: "a lost traveler, walking through the bushes?"
Crane said, not agreeing with Po words.
Tigress looked back to where the stranger was standing, and looked at the bushes.
Shifu: "whoever it was, it's gone." Shifu said making Tigress face her Master. "Just keep a close eye out, even though there hasn't been a few crimes in the last few days." "Just remember that things, could change without a warning."
With that they all walked back to the palace, but they didn't notice the same stranger hiding in the bushes staring at Tigress.
"I can't believe it's her!" "It's really her!" The stranger thought.
??: "should I visit her?" He asked himself. "No her Master will get suspicious, I'll just send a letter to meet me somewhere.. where no one could follow her."
Barrack Kitchen
It was already nine o clock and Po, the five and Master Shifu where eating dinner. Everyone all had small conversations expect for Tigress. For the last 10 minutes she had been looking down, at her food and stirring the noodles in her dish.
Viper: "everything alright, sweetie?"
Viper asked, concerned for her best friend.
Tigress lifted her head and noticed everyone attention, was now on her. They all finished eating their dinner, and Tigress was the only one who didn't eat anything the whole time.
Tigress: "yes... I'm fine."
She replied.
Po: "are you sure, you haven't eaten yet.. not since breakfast." "I really don't know, how you do it."
Po said collecting everyone empty dishes.
Tigress looked down at her food, and Tigress put her chopsticks down and looked back up.
Tigress: "I'm not hungry." She said bluntly, the rest all stared at her in worry, but before they could ask her anything else she said. "I'm going to go meditate."
She walked out of the barracks, and headed to the peach tree.
Sacred Peach Tree
Tigress sat next to the tree in the lotus position, but she wasn't really meditating. She was just looking up at the moon.
"Something going to happen something?" "Life changing... but what?" She thought. She was so deep in thought, that she didn't notice the footsteps coming towards her.
Shifu: "Tigress?"
She turned around and saw Shifu standing there holding, his tall staff in his right hand.
Tigress: "Master Shifu." She stood up, and bowed to him "I apologise, if I had disturbed you."
Shifu: "Nonsense you couldn't have disturbed me, if you just meditating."
He said.
Tigress: "I wasn't meditating Master."
She said
Shifu: "well then, what was you doing?"
Shifu asked.
Tigress: "I was... just thinking."
Shifu: "Thinking?" He asked Tigress gave him a nod. Shifu stood on his staff, and looked at her. "What were you thinking about?"
Tigress: "I just have... this feeling that something is going to happen." "I do not know if it is good, or bad.. but I feel like it's going to make a big change to everyone."
She explained to Shifu.
Shifu: "to everyone, or to you mostly?"
He said
Tigress: "I don't know Master, I have been trying to figure that out."
She looked at him.
Shifu: "hmm." Shifu stroked his beard and moved, and looked into Tigress amber eyes. "In all of my years here at the palace, I have only had that feeling twice."
Tigress: "And then what happened."
She asked
Shifu: "well the second time I had the feeling, was the day before Po became Dragon warrior."
He explained to her.
Tigress: "and the first time?"
Shifu then looked into her eyes, and said.
Shifu: "the first time was the very morning, before I adopted you."
Tigress: "really?"
Tigress said not knowing, what else to say.
Shifu: "yes.. and as you can see those times were both life changing, Weren't they?" Shifu asked with a huge smile. "Especially to me, and they were both good weren't they?"
Tigress: "yes, what do you think will happen Master Shifu?"
She asked, trying to get an answer from her Master.
Shifu: "I don't know Tigress, I guess you will have to find that out yourself." "Get some rest, I will be demonstrating a new move, tomorrow and you will need your strength."
She smiled and bowed.
Tigress: "yes Master Shifu."
They both started to walk together, to the barracks. But Shifu stopped in his tracks and looked at Tigress.
Shifu: "oh and Tigress."
Tigress: "yes Master?"
Shifu: "even though my first feeling was before I adopted you." "I better not see a baby Tiger cub tomorrow morning."
He said half joking, and half serious at the same time.
Tigress: "don't worry Master Shifu, that won't happen."
Tigress assured her Master.
Shifu: "good."
He chuckled and he left, to get some rest for tomorrow.
Tigress took one long last look to the moon. "That won't happen right?" She thought in her head. Then she stood up and went to her room to get some sleep.
