Alice's POV
I was pulled back into the bifrost and landed at the front doors of the castle. I quickly ran inside and one of the men directed me what room everyone was in.
I ran in and they were all around vision who was laying down and Shuri was doing the surgery to get the stone out of him.
'We got more incoming out side the dome. Where's Alice!' Uncle Rhodey said looking out the window
'I'm here. I'm here.' I said leaning down with my hands on my knees
'It's too late. We need to destroy the stone now' vision said trying to get up
'Vision get your ass back on the table' Nat said then walking over to me
'We will hold them off' tchalla said then walking away from him also
'Wanda. As soon as that stones out of his head, you blow it to hell' Steve said
'I will' she nodded and made her way over to vision
'Evacuate the city. Engage all defensives.' Tchalla said then turning and pointing to me 'and get this woman a suit!'
I smiled at him. Thankful I didn't have to go into battle in sweat pants and a body suit.
Within 40 seconds I was handed a suit with vibranium woven through it. Kinda like tchllas just no claws since my hands are free and no cat mask... for obvious reason. Alissa was also handed one but hers was a navy colour.
Outside every warrior wakanda had to offer was in their battle stances and tchalla, Steve, Nat, Bucky, Alissa and I all stood at the front. Bruce in the mark XLVIII suit and Sam and uncle Rhodey were in the sky ready to attack from above.
'This isn't how I planned my Wednesday afternoon' I said
'Not the time' uncle Rhodey said over comms
'Sorry' I muttered looking at Bucky who was smiling at me.
'Look two people are walking up' Steve said
'Let's go greet them then' tchalla said so him Steve and I made our way to the edge of the dome.
I know they didn't mean for me to come but I knew it was Adrian so yeah.
He was with a ugly looking alien girl with blue skin on the top half of her face that lead out into horns and darker blue hair
'Aw Adrian. It's so sad to see you've moved on' I sighed trying to hide the smile tugging on my lips
He looked me in the eyes 'good to see you back to normal'
'Is it though?' I asked and he glared at me
'Thanos will have that stone' she spoke
'That's not gonna happen' Steve said
'You are in wakanda now. Thanos will have nothing but dust and blood' tchalla said Looking directly at her
'We... have blood to spare.' She spoke then rained her sword in the air with a grunt causing hundreds if not thousands of alien hound things to charge behind the trees and wait there.
'Yikes' I whispered walking back
Steve turned and looked at me with a sad smile. I've never been able to look at Steve the same after the incident of him locking me up but I returned the smile. I mean we could die so what's a smile.
'They surrender?' Bucky said
'Not exactly' Steve said.
I stood beside Bucky, in the middle of him and Alissa.
The alien hounds started sprinting toward the boarder of the dome and tchalla started chanting along with his warriors.
Adrian and the girl faded to the back of the crowd of their pack. Allowing them to attack the boarder trying to get in. Killing them self's in the process.
'God I love this place' I whispered
'Their running around the back!' Okoye said
'Shit what do we do then. If they get in from there there's nothing stopping them from getting to vision' Nat said
'We keep them in front of us then' tchalla said causing everyone to look around confused
'On my signal open the barrier' he spoke in to comms
'He can't be serious' I whispered
'This will be the end of wakanda'
'Then it will be the noblest of endings' okoye said
'Oh dear god we're gonna die' I said
'We won't die' Bucky said
Silence over came everyone, waiting on tchallas signal to run.
All that could be heard was the sound of the hounds screaming and I could hear my own heart beat it was that loud.
'WAKANDA FOREVER!' Tchalla shouted summoning his mask and started sprinting towards the barrier.
Everyone started running. Steve and tchalla at front. Then the barrier opened and if it were possible my heat stopped for a minute.
At first the sheer terror of it all was about to over come me until i was face to face with a hound and instantly the adrenaline rush I was lacking came to me. Punching and slicing through them I was getting a good body count for myself.
'Alissa! Watch out!' I shouted then freezing the one that was about to jump on her from behind, she turned and cut its head of with on slick motion
'Nice' I said raising my eyebrows
'I was trained on vanaheim!' She shouted
'Got it!'
'You always 'got it' ' she replied
I need to stop saying got it...
One jumped on me from the front and tackled me to the ground. Rolling around battling to be on top, it completely over powered me but luckily my right hand was free so I raised it to its forehead and dug my thumb into its eye.
'Ha!' I jumped up grabbed my weapon and stabbed it in the back slicing it open.
'You okay down there!' Uncle Rhodey said over comms
'Just dandy!'
'Keep it up'
'I know I know' I said then fighting off two more
The battle continued. Luckily no deaths on our part yet. In the corner of my eye however I seen the one who i was searching for. Adrian. Standing watching me in the middle of the field.
I looked at him and he started to make his way towards me. I stayed where I was. Allowing him to make his way to me. But ofcourse one of those hounds jumped on me again but instead of taking the physical approach I set my hand alight and set it on fire letting it roll around burning to death.
When he made his was to me he smiled looking at me
'Adrian' I spoke holding my head high
'Alice'
'So kind of you to pay your beloved a visit'
'You can still get out of this. You can return home with me and join thanos again' he said standing directly opposite me now.
I looked into his eyes and smiled. 'I don't think so' then I lunged into him both of us now on the ground blocking hits from one another rolling over one another to be on the top.
He punched me directly on my chin causing me to fall off of him and land on my back. He jumped up and grabbed me by my hair, holsting me up. He held me by my hair and is other hand was wrapped around my stomach holding me close to him. Up against him.
'See all this' he whispered in my ear turning my head by my hair 'this could've been prevented if you just stayed. But noo. Alice stark had to ruin everything and cause all this blood shed. All this death. All this destruction. Killing her own friends and family. Just like a typical stark. Pure selfishness.' He basically growled in my ear
'This isn't my fault!'
'Oh but it is! You could've gotten him the stone without any of this and you know it!'
'I hate you' I whispered
He kissed my neck 'I don't care. It's time to go home now and don't worry. We'll get you allll drugged up so you can be the happy, obedient, naive little servant you once were'
'Let go of me!' I screamed and started thrashing around to get out of his hold
His grip on me tightened and he stiffened up 'let her go brother!' Alissa said from behind us
I turned my head and she had a knife to his throat and her free arm wrapped around his shoulder.
'Alissa! How are you here!' He roared
I looked at him and smiled 'my bad'
'You little brat!' He pulled on my hair harder causing me to wince
'I'll give you to the count of three to drop her Adrian' she whispered in his ear
'Or what'
'Let go and see'
He threw me out of his grasp and I landed face first on the ground. I turned myself around and started to fight off a hound that was trying to get me.
I watched as Adrian and Alissa fought one another until Alissa got the upper hand and kicked his weapon to the ground, grabbing his wrist and twisting it bringing it closer to her and stabbed him directly in the chest.
He fell the to floor and from there she straddled him and kept stabbing into his chest as he screamed out. The tears were running freely down her face along with her own sobs being out loud for everyone to hear.
'I hate you! I hate you! I hate you!' She chanted each time with a new stab wound into his chest.
'You took everything from me!' She roared then plunged my long knife into where his heart would be and twisted it.
She backed away and hugged her knees into her chest and cried.
'Alissa! Hey. Hey it's okay! He's gone. He's gone now. Come on.' I said running over to her
'I hate him!'
'Me too, me too but he's' I stopped and grew vines from the ground to strangle four hounds coming towards us 'he's gone now. So please. Please don't sit here like that it's too dangerous' I said bending down and picking up my weapons.
'Your right' she sniffled
'After all this. You can tell me everything' I said then we went back into the heat of the battle ground.
It was insane. We were now completely out numbered.
'Help! Help!' Bruce shouted over comms
'There's too many of them!' Steve shouted
I turned and seen he had five on top of him at once and Bruce had around twelve. I had three coming at me and Alissa was off just killing as many as possible.
'Aw shit!' I screamed being taken down by the three
'Steve!' I screamed 'I can't get them! Help me!'
Then the sound of the bifrost happened and the three that were on top of me were cut in half with a blur of blue light.
I sat up and thanked the gods for what I saw.
Thor with a massive axe. Loki with two golden long daggers in hand. Accompanied by rocket while holding a gun and groot who looks ready for battle.
'Bring me thanos!' Thor roared then jumping into the air causing around 40 odd hounds to die from the lightening of his axe.
I ran up to Loki and hugged him 'you took too long'
'I wanted a nice colour' he wined
'Adrians dead by the way' I dropped in letting go of him and throwing a fire ball at a hound making its way towards me
'Pitty. I wanted to be the one to kill him' he sighed then blasting green energy sources from his daggers.
'I'm not even gonna ask how you did that...'
He laughed and we continued to fight side by side.
'Fall back! Fall back!' Tchalla roared when 5 huge razor infused wheels came into the battle.
'Tell me that's not more of them!' I shouted
I looked over and seen Wanda land just in time to save Nat from the girl Adrian was with at the start and put the wheels to a halt.
'Guys! We've a vision situation!' Sam shouted over comms
'On it'
'On my way'
Steve and Wanda both spoke
'Hey. I was wondering' Loki said killing 8 hounds instantly 'we probably should just make you a princess of Asgard officially'
I killed a hound and looked at him 'what are you talking about' I groaned then stabbing one in the face
'I mean like it's bound to happen sooner or later'
'Is this really you asking me to marry you?'
'I mean yeah, I guess. I didn't want to make a big deal out of it' he said then punching a hound
'So romantic Loki. Really.' I sighed continuing to fight the hounds
'Whattt' he wined
'We're in the middle of a life or death situation. A literal battle! And you decide nows the best time to ask me to marry you?'
'... yes? And your point is?' He killed two blasting his green energy at then then swing around and gave one a right hook
'This just isn't how normal people propose'
'Since when is anything about our relationship normal?'
'You have a point' I laughed
'Thanos is on the field! He's here. We need backup' Steve said over comms.
I continued to fight by Loki's side trying to get a clear path over to Steve and everyone else in the trees 'do you at least have a ring?'
'Oh. Yes. Here' he threw me over the ring and I caught it.
'Seriously! You threw it at me?'
'What do you want me to do! We're in battle Alice' he laughed
'When'd you design this one?' I asked holding it in my hand still and firing ice blasts at the hounds
'I didn't. It's friggas engagement ring'
'It's beautiful'
'I know... why would I give you an ugly one'
'Loki it completely confuses me to no end how we can do this in this sort of situation'
'Well I am a god'
I shook my head and smiled
'I've a clear path to the team. Join me when you can'
'Stay safe!'
'I will!' I shouted back shoving the ring onto my ring finger on my left hand while sprinting towards the team.
