Finally! Today was the day where I meet my childhood bestfriend, Nathan.
Its been years since we've seen each other.
The last time that I saw him was when he was going to the navy.
I woke up and took a nice warm bath. I changed into something casual and brushed my hair. I sat down near my mirror as I started to put on some setting powder on my face. I then heard a loud groan behind my back.
"Y/n, why are you awake at this time in the morning?"
Michael groaned as he rubbed his eyes
"Love, don't you remember? I'm going to be picking up my childhood friend from the airport"
I told him.
He sat down beside me and kissed me on the neck.
"My love, can't he just get a taxi?"
He asks me.
I looked on over to him and chuckled.
"Love, I promised to pick him up once he came back"
He looks at me and sighs as he held my hand.
"Fine, but I'm coming with you"
He tells me.
I raised both of my eyebrows and held my hand on his cheek.
"Of course"
TIME SKIPS
Michael drove to the airline where Nathan was. He parked the car and stopped the engine. I took a deep breathe before stepping outside.
"Well, what are you waiting for?"
Michael asked me as he opened the door.
I took his hand and walked inside the airport.
I could smell the fresh humans getting off the plane.
We sat down on a bench near the gate where Nathan was suppose to be.
Michael was eventually bored while waiting for Nathan. He started to become impatient and whiny.
"I bet he's not even arriving and we're just wasting our time"
Michael whispered in my ear
"He'll probably arrive soon and besides its worth the wait'
I told him.
Another hour passed by and I still couldn't see Nathan. It was getting dark so we eventually left until I heard a familiar voice call my name.
"Y/n!"
He shouted.
I turned around to see Nathan waving at me.
"Nathan!"
I exclaimed as I ran towards him to give a hug.
We hugged each other for a few minutes then pulled back.
"Omg, I've miss you!"
I squealed.
He smiles and laughs with me until his attention turned to Michael.
"Michael right?"
Nathan asks Michael
"Its Mr. Langdon to you and yes it is I"
Michael replied.
Nathan looks and teases me with a feminine voice saying
"I didn't know that my Y/n is with a classy guy like him!"
I rolled my eyes and replied back
"Its not like you fell in love"
He gasps as I crossed my hands adding
"That's right, better be shocked"
to my sentence.
TIME SKIPS
We drove back to our house.
"Here it is!"
I said as I showed him the house
"Wow, you guys are like rich rich"
Nathan said as he grabbed his bags.
We went inside as I showed him his room.
"So this is your room. Its not that much but Its the best that we could do"
I tell Nathan.
He laughs and said
"Anything that's from you is already enough Y/n"
As he walks inside.
Me and Michael gave him to explore around the house since he is staying here for awhile until he goes back to the navy.
"Is he always like that?"
Michael asks me
"Like what?"
I asked him back
"You know what I mean"
He tells me
"Funny?"
I guessed
"No. Flirty"
He tells me.
I laughed and shook my head.
"Why are you laughing?"
Michael asks me
"No, Its just that I've never seen you jealous"
I tell him.
He looks at me confused then brought his old serious face again.
"Jealous, me? Never"
He denies
"Ok, whatever you say"
I replied back.
Some time later, me and Michael prepared dinner. Spaghetti and meatballs for tonight!
I sat down beside Michael as Nathan sat down across me.
As we were eating, Nathan decided to pull out some little inside jokes.
"Do you like Farces?"
Nathan asks Michael
"A what?"
Michael asks Nathan
"I said do you like Farces?"
Nathan repeated his question
"yes in some cases"
Michael replied
"Well how would you like a couple o' Deez NUTS IN YO MOUTH!?"
Nathan said as he started laughing.
Michael looked at Nathan then looked at me.
"Deez Nuts?"
Michael asks me.
I couldn't handle myself but burst out my laughter.
After dinner me and Nathan decided to stay up for the night to watch some movies, while Michael worked with his laptop.
All night long me and Nathan laughed and cuddled. We were like our old self again. Not until Michael came in.
"What is happening here, can both of you just shut up for a min-"
Michael said as he bursts into Nathan's room
"Great, man you're officially the party pooper of the year"
Nathan said as he slow clapped.
Michael grabbed my wrist and dragged me back to our bedroom.
"What the hell is wrong with you Michael!?"
I yelled at him as he let me go
"I should be the one asking you that! You're in there with some navy guy flirting with each other!"
Michael exclaimed
"Fli-flirting?"
I questioned him
"Yes, Y/n. Flirting. I could hear your laughs with him!"
He yelled
"So you thought I was flirting with Nathan?"
I questioned him again
"Yes Y/n YES!"
He said while a tear on his eyes drops and rolls down his cheek
"You're going to leave me just like everybody else with him!"
He shouted as he fell on his knees.
I couldn't help but kneel on my knees to get a closer look at him.
His face was full of teardrops as he cried. The pain that he was in was making me speechless. The trauma he had of people leaving him is way to painful to hear.
I grabbed his chin tilted it upwards to see his face. Our eyes met and got locked.
I kissed his soft lips as he kissed mine. We spent our night making love.
Hours passed and we both fell asleep in each others arms, not until I woke up. I opened my eyes and rubbed it as I looked at Michael. A smirk on his face was left as he continued sleeping. I moved myself under his chin as I whispered
"I love you"
I feel him move as he replied back with
"I love you more"
