The Sans of Banetale, named 'Error' now, woke up in a white space with no memories at all.
"Huh..? Where am I? ...Who am I?" was the first thing Error said as he rose from the beanbag that suddenly was there.
"Don't worry.." A motherly like voice spoke, but she sounded a bit exhausted.
"..I.. am.. Fate.., I'm sorry you lost your world, it was my fault.." The voice, which belongs to this 'Fate', spoke.
"Did you give this to me?" The error pointed at the bean bag that he was laying on earlier.
"Yes, child." Fate says that as Error is kind of her son now, as she gave some of her powers to him, speaking of powers, he can maybe create stuff because of it.
"..Well, thank you... I guess." Error scratched the back of his head, not knowing what to really say.
"You're welcome!" Fate chirped.
There was silence for a while.
"..So what am I supposed to do here?" Error asked Fate, looking at the endless white void.
"..For the meantime, you can practice your powers and I could secretly destroy some universes to replace you for a while. I hope you can master your powers before I get caught red-handed." Fate almost chuckled, (if you didn't know, Fate's power color is red. If she uses it, especially summoning the red strings of Fate, her hand glows red.)
"...O..Kay?" Error responded, not really getting the pun, which led to more awkwardness between the two.
"Try summoning your strings, I guess you get to withdraw yours near your eyes, not fingers." Fate told Error.
"So I just do this..?- WoAH-" Error admired the glowing blue strings that he just pulled near where his eyes are supposed to be.
"Excellent! Now try doing something with it! ..Hmm.. since I gave you some of my powers, I guess you have a creative side as well, since you got my strings, that is probably your main weapon. But as a sans, you can use blasters, blue magic, and bone attacks." Fate explained.
Error manipulated his strings and lifted up his beanbag.
"COOool!" Error shouted as he looked at his beanbag, which is in mid-air now.
"Since we are in *ahem* lOw bUdgEt-*ahem* I guess you need to have a practice dummy or something.. Can you make a you-sized practice dummy? Maybe you can do that. Just close your eyes and imagine it." Fate told Error, as she is quite low on magic.
Error closed his eyes, as hard as he can but nothing really happened.
"Oh. Seems like you're like Ink.. You all can't really create things by closing your eyes..- Maybe you need to draw?" Fate asked.
After awhile of tries of making a practice dummy, they finally discovered how Error can create-
It was through his strings. He can crochet- like it's his natural skill by the codes.
Error successfully made it.
"So crocheting was the thing you just needed to do- We spent like 3 hours figuring it out-" Fate complained.
Error just stared at her with a neutral face of displeasure.
"Yeah- Yeah- I'll be going to destroy some universes secretly - have fun on your training I guess-" Fate understood Error and left.
Fate smiled as she can already feel her strings of Fate working their way to Error and the others.
As she planned, Error is not going to be alone.
-Somewhere else, quite obvious where.-
'..Neil died. He was too old to stay with Dream, now I'm all alone, waiting for Dream to come back..'
'..I didn't mean it.. I'm sorry..'
A few tears fell to the ground.
"Huh..? What's that?" The skeleton covered in goop called Nightmare spoke,
It was a portal.
Nightmare hesitated but ran towards the portal in hopes that he can find a way to free Dream.
The portal closed behind Nightmare as he went through a white void.
"Hello? Is someone here?" Nightmare shouted.
Faint blaster noises were heard from behind Nightmare, Nightmare turned around to follow the noise.
"Hello..?" Nightmare shouted again while running towards the noises.
"Is..someone here?" Nightmare shouted again as Error heard the faint shouting from a distance.
Error tried his best to pull the source of the voice towards his living space using his strings, knowing they would be probably be lost in this vast void of white.
"AAAAA-" Nightmare shouted as he was pulled with strings coming out of nowhere.
It was quite a long distance but it took like a minute to arrive there.
"Oof-." Nightmare said as he landed on the ground, the void looked the same except for noticeable blue strings hanging on the 'ceiling', a beanbag, and most especially, another skeleton.
"I'm Error, what's your name?" The skeleton called Error introduced himself to Nightmare as he helped him get up.
"..Nightmare." Nightmare spoke, looking at the skeleton who he just met seconds ago.
"Then, Nice to meet you Nightmare!" Error spoke as a bright smile flashed across his face.
It was the start of a great friendship.
