༺he used to like mystery, but after around 9 he could just figure it out himself and it wasn't fun
༺he totally doesn't like daggers underneath the dress and masquerade balls where the mc has to dance with their enemy
༺he actually at first thought it was cringy but now he likes it
༺also when the enemy-lovers end up doing lover things like stargazing or dressing wounds

༺strong female leads and clever supporting characters, but the only one that the mc can really trust is their lover
༺she likes thriller when the main character is also powerful in their own right, and isn't helpless

༺she used to like fantasy worlds and star crossed lovers, but she gave up on that after she grew up and deemed them unrealistic
