author's note: I know I'm late and everything, but I don't really have the time to write since I have a lot of important exam (no, it's not over yet and so far i succeed in every exam so i'm kinda happy about it), so sorry again
also i didn't really take the time to correct this chapter spelling mistake so sorry in advance
accelerator arrive at tokiwadai,after the whole "deal" thing with the magician he just go there,the day was ending
he simply enter tokiwadai as he lived there
there wasn't a lot of people outside, there was a few girls but still
accelerator walk around tokiwadai,he was just looking around
at some point he meet the dorm supervisor
"I see that you're back"said the DS (dorm supervisor),she was probably inform of the situation by the director
"do i look like I'm somewhere else ?"said accelerator with bored tone
the DS just sigh at his respond
"I'm just gonna get to the point...have you eaten yet ?"said the DS
"?"accelerator raise an eyebrow
"there a cafeteria here and a restaurant,the student have to eat before going to bed,it's actually part of the rules"explain the DS
"I told to tell you about that"
[so that's why nobody is around, they're eating somewhere]thought accelerator
"since yo sleep here, you need to go to eat at the cafeteria before going to your room"said the DS
the DS look at accelerator's cloth
"and also you need to change,I can't allow you to go in the cafeteria with that outfit"
accelerator stare at the DS in the eyes during several second,he look at her with really bored eyes
"fine"said accelerator as he goes toward the dorm to change
"also,in the cafeteria, there's a table reserve to you and kamijo"explain the DS as accelerator leave
"so only the two of you have the right to eat at this table,and I mean ONLY kamjo and you"
accelerator didn't say a word as he leave
"tch..."
[I have to eat with him now ?]thought accelerator as he enter the dorm and left the DS outside
accelerator went toward his room,he realise that the DS was following him in the corridor
he ignored her and just go in his room,he end up in front of a tired touma on his bed,touma was still wearing his suit(tokiwadai's outfit)
he was sitting with a sad face
[I wonder what happened while i wasn't there ]thought accelerator
suddenly touma's face seem to turn to something a bit more happy
accelerator's eye widened when he heard a sound from touma's stomach
"finally you're here!"touma seem to be starving,he actually grab on accelerator shoulder
accelerator felt his reflection breaking because of touma's right arm
"you have to help me,i don't have enough money to buy food here and the dorm supervisor won't let me go to the cafeteria for free unless you are with me to watch over me!"said touma
accelerator would probably have sent touma thought the window already if he could,but he can't because of imagine breaker,however that didn't accelerator threat
"if your hand are still touching my shoulder in less than 5 second,you won't be able to use the manymore"said accelerator
accelerator seem pretty annoyed and of of course it wasn't an actual threat,he wasn't actually going to hurt touma
that's was still enough to make touma back down while rising his hand toward the sky
"got it"said touma
a huge sound could suddenly be heard from touma's stomach
accelerator's head turn a bit to look behind him
"why that stupid rule ? why kamijo can't just eat alone ?I'm asking you dorm supervisor"said accelerator
"that's a punishment for an event that occurs today,and having him around you is probably the only way we can control where he is and what he's doing"explain the DS, she's not even entering the room,she was waiting in the corri,her back on the wall
"and event ?"ask accelerator as his look goes back to touma
"let's just say i mess up and my luck didn't help either..."said touma as his eyes avoid accelerator 's look
accelerator sigh as he think a bit [i left for an afternoon and thing are already getting complicated.....]
"okay,let's make a deal....I'm gonna change my outfit,then we're going to eat at the cafeteria and you shut up the whole time"said accelerator
"ok deal"immediately respond touma
accelerator had a grin for a second
"did you just talk ?"said accelerator
then touma realised,that he can't say a single word
touma just move his head left to right to say no while heavily sweating and after he just go on the corner of the room near his bed
accelerator just take his suit and goes int the bathroom and change
meanwhile the dorm supervisor was still waiting in the corridor and touma was silent the whole time,he didn't wan't to fight with accelerator for food,that was kinda stupid
accelerator didn't take long to change to his suit
even less than 5 minutes later he was out of the bathroom fully change
the number simply put the cloth he was wearing before on his bed and look at touma
"we can go now"said accelerator as he go out of the room
touma simply follow accelerator
"so ?"ask accelerator as he look at the DS
"I guess you're gonna watch us during the whole thing"said accelerator
"pretty much"respond the DS
"especially him"the DS give an angry look toward touma
touma got chills
"now follow me"said the DS as she started walking away
an hungry touma and a bored accelerator were behind her
author's note:you can imagine chibi touma and chibi accelerator following a chibi dorm supervisor if you want...and you probably did after I mentioned it
5 minute later accelerator,touma and the DS arrive at the cafetaria
it was the only way touma could eat without having to pay for it unless accelerator was paying for it and that was probably never going to happen
the cafeteria of tokiwada was probably one of the only place in the school where you don't have to pay for it,it's part of the thing that are only at tokiwadai because it's necessary on "paper"even though most tokiwadai girl could eat at the restaurant everyday at any hour,it was just part of the rule
touma never seem this happy before as he was taking food however he felt a target on his back,some girls in the cafeteria didn't seem happy about him being here
accelerator didn't really seem comfortable either about being there and touma realized it
why? simply because accelerator never went into a cafeteria before !he wasn't really at ease but it wasn't something he couldn't handle
and most of all the cafeteria was full,girls in every direction and every single one of them were looking at accelerator and touma while they were taking their food
the two lonely boys were going toward an empty table that the dorm supervisor had chosen for them
yes that's how much they were monitored
accelerator noticed shokuhou eating with her clique on a table,she was pretty far away but he kept on walking
shokuhou noticed accelerator too and her eyes light up a bit and she had a tiny smile
the two of them look at each for a second and then go back to their own occupation
acccelerator was forced to sit next to touma,they start eating at the world around them were looking at them while pretending not to look at them,the dorm supervisor wasn't pretending not to look at them and she wanted them to know tat she was watching them...by constantly staring at them as they eat
"you intend to explain to me while every girl in the school seem to want to kill ?"ask accelerator
"it's long story"respond touma
"then it's gonna be a long meal"said accelerator as he keep eating
touma was surprised by how much food accelerator had taken despite how skinny the number 1 is
"stop looking at my food,it won't save you from my question"said accelerator
"let just say that i realised that i can't effort anything to buy here,even food...so i've been starving since you left"explain touma
"and some girls noticed me walking around while being almost dead,so they surpringly help me and they paid for the restaurant,they said it was a second chance and they did eat with me"
"and i kinda mess it up"
"I feel like you did something unexpected and unbelievable that put you in big trouble "said accelerator as he starts to see a pattern here
"yes......"touma hesitite a bit as he felt the glare of several girl
"at some point when i was going to get food and someone was bringing me food and a cola because i wasn't into coffee at the moment"
"so the waitress bring the soda,i get it,i opening and the soda almost explode in my hand....it must have been shaken before"
the whole thing went on the girl in front of me and her outfit were ruining and that was just the start"
"then I tried to ask for forgiveness to the girl, I trip on something and one of my hand went to her breast... and as I was falling, of course I tried to grab onto something.... I torn apart part of the girl's outfit.... skirt include... leaving her almost naked in front of everyone"
"the rest is easy to understand"finish touma
acccelerator's eye actually widened in surprise for a second
"you run away as fast as you could from very angry girls ?"said accelerator [was it a trap ? or is he just unlucky ?]
"all day long....i didn't manage to eat anything in the end..........rotten luck...."esplain touma
"that kind of thing happened often ?"ask accelerator,he seem mostly confused
"yeah!surprisingly.....i'm just unlucky like that"said touma with an almost sad tone
accelerator thought of something
"that much ?"ask accelerator [maybe i should test that,it could be a problem]
"let's make a debt"said accelerator
"i don't like that idea"respond touma [i'm gonna lose anyway]
"you said you're hungry, right ?"ask accelerator
"yes"said touma
"here's the bet, the girl's here are overeducated,i bet that the girl overthere with a glass full of water who is walking in the straight line will loose her balance for some strange reason and spill the water on another girl"said accelerator
"but what are we betting ?"ask touma
"if you win,i will pay you a meal"said accelerator
"and what if i lose ?"ask touma
"nothing,you just don't get a free meal"respond accelerator
"bet taken then"respond touma
and as touma said that,the girl they were watching suddenly lost her balanced and spilled water all over the ground,she fell on the ground she almost hit her head on a table while falling but she was lucky...the glass fell and broke on the ground...some shards even reach the floor under touma and accelerator
[shit...is she alright ?]thought touma,luckily the girl didn't get hurt
[i'm actually surprise it happened]thought touma and accelerator
"did you cheat with you power ?"ask touma with a doubt in his voice
"i didn't"said accelerator[that was.....really strange]accelerator really didn't cheat...however he did use a bit of power so the girl didn't not hurt herself
"however not everything went according to the bet so i guess no one wins"said accelerator
"and don't try to complain i should be the winner ,the simple fact that the girl spill the water make me by default the winner"said accelerator before touma could complain
touma just sigh in defeat while the poor girl was cleaning her mess some of her friend were helping her and asking if she was okay
however this attrack all the attention on the girl who fell....this was so unusual
[i wonder if his "luck" is linked to magic]thougth accelerator
[i wonder how far it can go]
suddenly a girl appear behind touma,she had a glass of water in her hand,she was simply walking by accelerator and touma's table
she was trying to avoid the shard of glass on the ground near accelerator and touma,the girl step on a shard by accident,she lost her balance because the shard shatered in tiny piece....she trie to gain her balance back but she walk on a shard she had just avoid before and of course it didn't help
the girl fall backward,her head was obviously going to hit a table,spilling the water on touma and accelerator however the water stay frozen in the air and seem float
touma didn't have the time to react but he got up to try to catch the girl before she fall,he never reach in the end
it was suppose to land on touma's head however the liquid stay in the air and the girl seem to stop mid air
meanwhile shokuhou was smiling a bit as she look at thr scene
the whole cafetaria stop for a second and watch at the boy and the strange scene
touma see that the girl wasn't falling anymore...she seem confused as she goes back to a normal postion....she felt some kind of push on her back like a strong wind
touma's confusion lead him to look around,he actually see the water floating around him
the cafetaria seem to look behind him...where accelerator was
touma see accelerator with his hand raised toward the girl and the water
the whole cafetaria stare at the number 1 as he redirect the water in some kind of ball above his hand
[hmm....water is a bit harder to manipulated than i thought....it being a liquid make the calulation for the vector a tiny bit harder]thought accelerator
on a table not far away from accelerator and touma,there is three girls
Wannai Kinuho who had a certain power that allow her to control water was really curious,while kongo mitsuko next to kinuho was also really interest by the way accelerator manage to stop the fall of the girl who was falling
accelerator seem to have create a gust of wind from nothing...actually he hit his foot on the ground while remaining sit,but mitsuko didn't see it
[so that the legendary accelerator]thougth the girl,they heard a lot of thing about accelerator
back to accelerator and touma and also the girl
"than-thank you"said the girl to accelerator who to jus close his eye as if he was just annoyed by the situation
"you're okay ?"ask touma after turning around again [that was a fast reaction],he wasn't showing it but he was impress by accelerator
"ye-yeah"said the girl after shaking her cloth and other part of her body,she didn't felt any pain anywhere so she was probaly okay
accelerator look at the dorm supervisor,she seem suspicious about something
[i hope she don't think i cause all of this with my power]thought accelerator
and after a minute of cleaning the cafetaria goes back to normal,well not really
accelerator once again became the center of all the attention
"eat fast"said accelerator
"i'm gonna leave soon,all those girl are annoying"
"but i'm not finish"said touma while complaining
"don't care if you get kick out of ther cafetaria,i'm leaving in 5 minute"said accelerator
touma just sigh in sadness as he start eating faster,he knew if accelerator leave he had to leave too because the dorm supervisor look really scary right now
since they both start eating the cafetaria was getting empty,the girl were slowly leaving,probably to go to their dorm
and so 5 minute later accelerator get up and start leaving
touma follow him while finishing part of his food
the dorm supervisor was still following them
accelerator,touma and the DS were now outside
"do you intend to follow us in our room while we sleep ?"ask accelerator
"because you're really getting annoying now"
"did you cause the girl's fall earlier ?"ask the dorm supervisor
touma was a bit a confuse at first,but he realised quickly
[oh ,right i guess he could have cause those to happen,but still i don't think he did it] thougth touma
"nope,i didn't,sorry to disappoint you"said accelerator
the DS seem a bit angry from that respond but she try not to react to it
"now can we leave to our dorm and sleep so that we can all agree on ending the day ?"
the dorm supervisor stay silent for a second
she adjust her glasse
"hmm....you can go to your dorm"sait the DS
touma stay silent
"finally"said accelerator as he just start leaving
touma just followed accelerator as he felt a glare from the DS
they both enter the dorm and head toward their room
touma just enter the room while accelerator stay in the corridor as he see shokuhou leaving her room
she was still wearing her uniform but she wasn't wearing the brown best that usually go with the uniform...she did seem a bit tired
"oh,hey"called shokuhou as he see accelerator
"i see you once again attrack everyone attention in the cafetaria"said shokuhou
"don't tell me about it....i was just testing something"said accelerator
"wait...did you cause that ?"ask shokuhou,she was actually surprise
"no,i just wanted to test kamijo's bad luck....and it look it's true....he is really unlucky...to the point where it's seem like some kind of power"said accelerator
"i just made a simple bet about something that wasn't really probable and it still happened twice"
"what was the bet ?"ask shokuhou
"that a girl who had a glass of water inside her end was going to lose her balanced and fall while splling the water on someone else"explain accerator
"and we bet that i would pay a meal to the spiky hair idiot"
"so you won 2 time in a row...so does he have to pay you a meal ?"ask shokuhou
"nah,he doesn't have the money anyway"said accelerator
accelerator actually stop the sound around him and shokuhou,he didn't want touma to heard anything
"talking about paying a meal,i want to remind that i'm preparing something for the favor"said shokuhou with a smug
"you're gonna need money"
"about that.....what it is by the way ?the favor i mean"ask accelerator
"i will tell you later"said shokuhou
"you won't tell me till it happened ?"ask accelerator
"nope"said shokuhou
"don't even try to insist on asking"
"i wasn't going to because it wouldn't work anyways"said accelerator
there's a sudden silent between the two level 5s
"by the way....what did you do this afternoon ?....i thought you would come back a bit earlier"
"something crazy"said accelerator
"something crazy ?...like what ?"ask shokuhou
"mafia,meltdowner,goalkeeper,meeting religious people"said accelerator
"in a single day ?"ask shokuhou [his day seem way more intesting than mine...i wish i was there]
"it would be long to explain everything so i will tell you about it tomorrow morning if you don't mind"said accelerator
shokuhou start yawning a bit
"tired ?"remark accelerator [i haven't drink a coffee since noon when i think about it]
"kinda...i was forced to go to classes after you left"said shokuhou
"i had too since i missed too much class"
accelerator was kinda surprised
"that seem stupid,can't you just learn thing by reading people's mind ?"ask accelerator
"i told them that and they didn't really care about the fact i could just read the mind of a girl who was in class or even the teacher herself to catch up to my classes...but it's apparently for the sake of the rules and the punishment that they forced me to class,they wanted to show that level 5s aren't above the rules"
[even if we are above some of those rules]thougth shokuhou without saying it
"did they told you that ?"ask accelerator
"oh,they didn't said anything,but they did thought about it"said shokuhou with an innocent smile
[did she goes to thoses classes or not ?]thought accelerator...he kinda had a doubt that shokuhou would just let herself be force to go additionnal classes like that,even without her remote shokuhou isn't really powerless
wanting to apply rules on a level 5 behavior is stupid idea,especially if you see this in the school system
a level 5 is insanely smart and can pretty much learn about anything faster than anyone
missing classes is obviously not a problem for a level 5,someone like accelerator,for example in math if a certain theorem wasn't taught to him for some reason, he would eventually literally figure it out by himself or even find a new theorem that is more useful and more practical
however even a level 5 need to be taught the basics in math to discover an actual theorem so they still need some kind of education
shokuhou start yawning again
"i'm sorry...but i'm really tired"said shokuhou
"i'm kinda tired too"said accelerator even if he wasn't reallly tired,but wasn't going to stop him from falling asleep
"i think we should both go to sleep"said shokuhou
accelerator wasn't going to respond something
"i think too"
accelerator and shokuhou turn their look a bit to see the dorm supervisor standing there,they both were surprised
[that annoying woman again....]thought accelerator
"miss shokuhou i advice you to go to sleep now before you schedule tomorrow get full of additionnal classes"said the DS
"righ-right!"said shokuhou as she slowly goes back in her room
"goodnight"said shokuhou as she quickly goes back into her room,however her eyes keep staring at accelerator during the whole process
accelerator just nod at her look
after shokuhou left in her room,accelerator turn toward the DS
"i'm going to sleep and sadly for you,you won't be able to find to annoye me in some kind of way"said accelerator as he turn
the DS was going to say something, but accelerator completely ignore her and close the door and fully enter the room
[i swear,this little....]thought the DS as the slowly leave,she actually wasn't mad or anything,she was going to ask accelerator about what he's doing today,she was curious about it,she didn't like not having all the information needed for her work
but it's true that it's hard for her not to look angry while working and that sometime make most people thinking that she's a cold person, even if she's actually not
with accelerator and touma inside the room
"okay,idiot,you don't make a sound and let me sleep and everything will be okay"said accelerator as he goes take some clothes that could "maybe" qualified as a pyjamas
"do you intend to just act like that during this whole thing ?i mean we are going to sleep in the same room for at least a week...can't you just stop threatening me every minute ?seriously do you dislike me this much ?i don't really understand"said touma
"i don't dislike you if that's what you think"said accelerator as he go on his bed
"really ?because i really have a doubt sometime"said touma
accelerator close his eyes
"not really my problem"said accelerator as he fall asleep while trying to ignore touma despite the fact that touma was actually right
"hey don't you just ignore me !"said touma but accelerator was already asleep
touma goes near accelerator but he was stop by some kind of wall made of air
touma just touch the wall of air with his right arm and it was destroy
accelerator open his eye feeling his reflection was broken
"i'm trying to have a conversation here!"said touma
accelerator slowly get up
that was going to be a complicated night
with shokuhou and hokaze in the room next door
shokuhou and hokaze were in their bed....but hokaze's side was the one with the wall shared by accelerator and touma's room
"shokuhou-sama....they sound like they arguing about something....i don't really undertand was they're saying though"said hokaze
"they probably are indeed arguing"said shokuhou
"should we...do something ?"ask hokaze
"nah they will get along.......eventually"said shokuhou
"i just hope the school is still standing when that happen"finish shokuhou
she was strangely calm about this
hokaze just made a worry expression and sound
