(A/N) just so you know there is a 5-year time skip so Izuku is 9 years old.
~Izuku POV~
Izuku looked at his so-called best friend and ran away, he didn't want to get hurt again. this was after all a daily routine for izuku, using his superior strength and speed to run away and stop katsuki's and Izumi's bullying. Ever since Izumi told Katsuki that he was qurikless, verbal abuse became common as they could rarely touch him due to his increased speed.
he was walking and thinking "tomorrow is mine and Izumi's birthday, you can forget about me getting a gift for Izumi but I wonder if dad will come home tomorrow at least. it has been 4 months since we last saw him. well, he does have a very busy job... or that's what he told me."
Suddenly I heard a loud shout and a scream following that, and I ran towards the shout hoping nothing bad had happened. when I got there, a girl was flying in the air as if she was being choked by something invisible, I ran towards her but she was tossed away when I came close, at that moment my life flashed before me, years of neglect and bullying made a wave of hatred fall over me, suddenly I saw a hand approaching me and I jumped over the hand, it looked rotten and malformed, looking closer it looked like I could see the creature that was choking the girl earlier.
The creature threw me off and I landed right next to the girl, when I noticed she was holding something in her hand I took a closer look, it looked like a finger! a dead finger! I urged myself not to throw up and I took it away from her, suddenly the creature started running towards me instead of the girl.
it dawned on me that the creature wanted the finger, and I couldn't move my left hand.
in that split second, I made a decision, to make sure the creature didn't get the finger I would have to do something abt it. I got up and started running as fast as I could away from the girl.
I needed to destroy this finger but I couldn't find anything to destroy it with, suddenly I felt a great tug and I felt my hand torn off, I looked in horror as my hand was bleeding non-stop, suddenly I tripped and naturally I put my hand in front of me, but I put the hand too close to my mouth as when I fell down the finger went inside my mouth.
it tasted horrible and I was choking on it I couldn't get it out and the creature was coming in closer to me every second, I couldn't find a way out except swallow it. and swallow it I did, suddenly everything went dark.
~Sukuna POV~
it had been years since I was in a body, it wasn't fun being exchanged around curses, making those pathetic little creatures more powerful. oh, how I craved a human body instead of this empty black void.
although the consumption rates of my fingers have considerably decreased, who knows maybe the age of curses is coming to an end? who cares, as long as my fingers exist I will exist as well, it was a shame that the itadori brat died, he couldn't consume all of the fingers and I lost my chance to go back into the living world, and that geto-guy had the guts to extract all the fingers and disperse them across japan again.
suddenly I felt my finger being consumed, what would it be this time a weak curse again?
ahh the living world how long has it been since I've been here, I spot a curse in the corner of my sight, tch such a weak curse shouldn't have the rights to exist, I raise my hand to obliterate this curse when I notice, "this....its a human body! I'm finally in a human body!"
~izuku POV~
when I swallowed the finger I froze for a second and then I got up, felt like I couldn't control my body at all, I could hear a second voice talking about weak curses or something but then I raised my decapitated hand without willing to, I tried to move my body but it just wouldn't bend to my will.
what I saw next startled me, the creature got cut up into pieces and my hand grew back, I couldn't believe it. a maniacal smile rose on my face without me willing to and shouted "this is great, always stuck in that void or with some weak cursed spirit, I finally have control of a human body! it's just as I thought the sunlight feels best on the skin when you're a human! this is a wonderful era to live in, people are crawling like maggots all around, it'll be a massacre!"
I could feel the control coming back to my body and I couldn't stand what this man was saying and how he took control of my body,"what're you doing? what do you mean massacre? I won't let you kill people, especially when you're in my body. is this your quirk?"
"huh? you can still talk huh? you're just like that itadori brat! who the hell are you"
"me? izuku... I don't plan on using my last name so I don't need to tell you it."
"very well brat, ill take over your body soon so don't expect to live too long."
"not gonna allow that to happen, but if I could help you in any other way except crime, I will!"
"ho? this brat is certainly interesting. better him than that itadori brat" sukuna said to himself
"brat, ill help you achieve your dreams, power, money, women anything you want, in return you must collect all my fingers and eat them, I have taken a certain interest in you, after all your the only thing with cursed energy in this world that I can sense, apart from my fingers that is."
"I don't know whats cursed energy, but if you would help me become a hero I'll eat your fingers however bad they taste.
"What's your name? and how did you heal my hand? it was completely cut off."
sukuna scoffed and said, "it's ryomen sukuna, the king of curses. don't forget it. I healed your hand with cursed energy. if you want to make a pact with me you'll have to be stronger. a mere finger is only 5% of my power. I'll make a pact with you and let you use my powers when you consume all the fingers! until then."
"wait!" I shouted "how am I supposed to find the fingers!" but I got no response
'damn him' i thought 'ryomen huh? I like that name, but what's with the king of curses thing? well looks like ill have to find clues about these fingers and eat them, ugh' i shivered at the thought of eating that again.
my body was sore all over and I couldn't stand for long, I decided to take walk home and take a day of rest before trying to find the other fingers. but while walking home I could've sworn my senses, especially my eyesight had increased. it felt like I could see an energy form I couldn't see before.
but on the way home I encountered 2 people who i detest more than anything, my own sister and my ex-best friend.
"katsuki and Izumi what do you want today?" I asked not having the energy to run away or fight today.
"shut up you quirkless nerd, just hand over your wallet, or else we'll use you like a punching bag."
~Sukuna POV~
well, it certainly is interesting, looking at the human world through the brat's eyes. it hasn't changed at all from that itadori brat's time except for people gaining some weird ability called quirks. looking through the brat's memories, i could certainly see that cursed energy had been replaced by this ability called quirks, and quirks could be very powerful.
looking at the obvious fact that the brat has cursed energy would answer the reason for his lack of a quirk, however, he does not possess a cursed technique either, perfect, this way my own cursed technique will be engraved onto him, this will allow me to teach him all my techniques and turn him into the perfect vessel if I can't have the body ill have to influence his personality and make him more like me so that he can at the least carry my wishes out.
the brat's still walking home when 2 teenagers of some sort come and talk to him
"katsuki and Izumi what do you want today?" the brat asked. the child with the blonde spiky hair replied " shut up you quirkless nerd, just hand over your wallet we'll use you like a punching bag."
used like a punching bag? Does this brat think he can actually touch me? this brat was getting on my nerves ever since I saw him and now he wants to try to use me as a punching bag?
"now now, I can't allow that can I brat? ill help you this one-time brat." I asked.
"you're talking to me now? go away I can handle them by myself!" the brat replied
some people can be so ungrateful
"tch, you're my vessel, I can't let you be looked down by some lowlife scum like this! give me control for sometime brat, I'll show you why I'm called the king of curses!" I said.
" I don't trust you at all but ill give you control if you promise to not hurt any living person while you're out." the brat replied
"sure.... I'll just play with them for some time, then I'll let you take back control."
he switched! this brat is filled with kindness! he has some parts of him similar to the itadori brat as well. ill have to ease out these parts and make him more confident as well, years of bullying have taken a toll.
"very well brat, lets do this shall we." I said as a maniacal grin came upon my face
