Y/N's POV
During the flight, all I did was look at the pictures of me and Tom, or just Tom or anything even remotely related to Tom. Tears kept falling down my cheeks and lucky for me, I was in a suite, so I didn't have to worry about anyone looking at me.
Upon landing, I was greeted by Julius and Alexi. The minute I laid my eyes upon the dark haired girl, all my worries left, "Hi, munchkin!" I said taking her into my arms. "Aunky Y/N" she tried to speak. This was the first time she said my name along with 'Aunty'. It sounded weird, I'm just 28 years old.
"Awww, but it's Y/N" I corrected her when she messed up my name. "Sorty" she said making me laugh and cry at the same time.
"Yeah, Shorty" I said sadly as we left the airport.

"Pumpkin!" I heard my dad say the minute I walked in. He was doing relatively well for the past few months, it was honestly a miracle. He still had cancer, but he was not showing himself weak.
"Daddy!" I said as I put Alexi down and went to hug him. The minute I laid my head on his chest, I started crying. "It'll be fine, Y/N. I promise it gets better" he assured rubbing my back.
"I have been saying that to myself for years, nothing has ever been better" I mumbled against his chest making him hug me tighter. "It will be, I promise" he said as he pecked the top of my head.
"Come on now, you haven't been here for a long time. We're taking you out for a picnic, you, me, Nick and Alexi. We're going to the beach!" Julius said pulling me away from dad.
"But I don't want to!" I whined, it was currently 3 PM, I was totally jet lagged, hungry, sad and tired. "Please, J, we'll go tom-"
"Pwease, Aunky Y/N" Alexi said tugging at my sweats. She looked at me with puppy dog eyes, before I could say no, her eyes quickly teared. "O-Oh, oka- okay, munchkin. Let's go!" I said picking her up as I wiped her eyes.
I wore a floral bikini underneath a big white cotton tee and black shorts. We headed to the beach which was just a few minutes away, taking a 5 minute walk, we reached the beach.
Julius placed a towel for me as I removed my clothes to reveal my bikini. I quickly wore my sunglasses and slept on the towel, Nick placed an umbrella as I took in the view.
My phone rang and I saw Tom's name with our picture, where we look so happy. I shook my thoughts and let it go to voicemail. "Woah, you're not going to pick up Tom's call?" Nick asked as I shook my head no.
"Didn't end up on good terms" I mumbled as Alexi laid on top of me. I giggled and wrapped my arms around the little girl. "She's really amazing, you know, just like you and I'm not mad that she looks like you, I'm grateful that she does" Julius said as Nick agreed.
"Look at that!" I pointed as we saw an airplane take off in the sky. I heard a camera click, so I turned my head to Nick. He was holding my phone smiling at the picture. "Show me" I said as I put my hand out and he handed me the phone. It was a beautiful picture.
I quickly opened Instagram to see a message from Tom. Posting this picture he'll get the idea that I'm ignoring him.

"Thank you for the cutest picture, need to change my wallpaper too now" I said as I changed a pic of me on Tom's shoulder, laughing as he was angry about something to a picture of me and Alexi.
Tom had called me probably ten times today, each of it went to voicemail. I left that part behind me, I'm never going to look at the past now.
Tom's POV
I broke down at the airport floor. Emma came to me and pulled me in a hug. "Why did I have to do it?" I asked as I wrapped my arms around her. She didn't answer because even she didn't anticipate that Y/N would actually leave.
What am I supposed to do now?
I headed back to my home, after six months, this was the first time I stepped in here. Usually whenever I needed something, Y/N would come and pick it up for me, so the bloody apartment smells like her.
I took a long shower, searched for clothes in my closet and then headed to my room. I saw Y/N's black penguin, the one that I gave her on my bed. My eyes filled with tears as I picked it up. I hugged it close and it felt like I was hugging Y/N, because this is the most that smelled like her.
I didn't sleep the whole night, but kept swiping Y/N's and my pictures. I looked at all of her posts on Instagram, her videos on YouTube and everything. I didn't realise that the whole day had passed and now it was 10.34 PM, Y/N must've already landed.
I quickly called her which went straight to voicemail, "Hi, this is Y/N, I can't come to the phone right now, but leave a message!" I smiled as I heard her voice. I didn't say anything but hung up.
Again, after an hour, I tried to call. No answer, straight to voicemail, "Alright, erm, Y/N, please pick up, we have to talk, please. I'm not giving up on you. I know you won't want me there and I can respect that. But please, call me back" I said and hung up.
Minutes later, I got a notification from Instagram, 'y/n_y/l/n has posted' I quickly opened Instagram and looked at picture of her and Alexi at the beach. Her face wasn't visible in the picture.
I wish I could just see you, darling.

Y/N's POV
It has been a week since I moved to California. I have almost 78 missed calls from Tom. And 34 voicemails which I didn't have the courage to open. Today was the day I was going to start my project.
"Erm, hi, Y/N. I'm Wyatt, I'll be your photographer from Gucci, since you're going to be the face of Gucci, for the first year, we'll work in California at different locations with different styles and different aesthetics. The next year, we'll be travelling to Canada, Netherlands, Norway, Australia, India and New Zealand for promotions and our locations. It's going to be great working with you!"
"Likewise, Wyatt" I said shaking his hand.

Sorry that I pulled a prank on you guys. But I had to, the opportunity was right there and I couldn't miss it. Just a filler chapter for y'all. Cannot believe that only a few chapters are left. 🥺🥺🥺
