"Hello, I'm outside your apartment, can you come and help me get to work?" I heard James Corden over the phone, just for his filming. I giggled, "Yeah, I'll be right down" I said and happily walked out of my Dad's apartment. I was back to LA, for specially these two interviews - James Corden and Ellen.
"Hello, hello" I said opening the car door and stepping in the car. "Hi, Y/N, thank you so much for helping me get to work, I really appreciate it" he said as I put my seatbelt on. "Oh, of course not, I wasn't doing anything, so why not?"
We talked for around half an hour and drove around the city, "You don't mind if I play some music, do you?" he asked making me shake my head no. "No, no, play it"
"Alright, let's see who we got" he said and turned up the volume. It was Selena's 'Same Old Love'. "I love it!" I exclaimed and started moving to the music. "Take away your things and go... You can't take back what you said, I know. I've heard it all before, at least a million times... I'm not one to forget, you know" we began singing and dancing in the car.
"I'm so sick of that same old love, that shit, it tears me up... I'm so sick of that same old love, my body's had enough" I sang alone jamming to her music. We completed the whole song as my phone rang. "Who's calling you?" James asked and it was an unknown number.
"I don't know who it is, I mean probably some insurance guy or something"
"Your insurance guy?"
"No, no, why would I not have saved my insurance guy's number?"
"Pick it up"
"Hello, who is this-" I asked and put my phone on airplane mode. "I do this when I don't want to talk to anyone or wanna hang up" I said pointing the phone at the camera. "Oh, airplane mode, that's genius, because it says call failed instead of call ended"
"No, that's what you might think, it says 'Reconnecting...', so-"
"That's fucking smart!" he exclaimed and I saw a McDonald's sign. "Let's go to McDonald's, I'm kinda hungry" I said as he nodded. I played another song, this was from Adele - 'When we were young' "You look like a movie... You sound like a song... My God this reminds me, of when we were young" James sang and then I took the lead.
"Let me photograph you in this light... In case it is the last time... That we might be exactly like we were... Before we realized. We were scared of getting old... It made us restless... It was just like a movie... It was just like a song" I sang hitting all the right notes.
"Wow, that was amazing. Very, very, amazing. So, what do you want?" he asked as we entered the drive-thru. "Erm, yeah, hi can we get a - what do you want?" he looked at me. "Erm, a number 3 but a medium meal"
"Alright, can - can we get a Number 3 with like a medium fries and a medium coke" I slapped his arm, "A medium diet coke and I will have a number 6, also with a medium fries and a medium coke, yeah? Thank you" he said and we went to payment. After payment, I was scrolling through Instagram, as a fan edit caught my eye.
It was a video edit of me and Tom, the caption said - 'I don't care what anyone says, these two need to shut up and get together bc they're soulmates' I smiled as the song 'Be my baby' by The Ronettes, I love the 90's. A number of pictures of me and Tom flashed on the screen with the song.
Now, what caught my attention more was that Tom had liked the post. It got me wondering, was he just being nice or did he actually believe what was in the video?
"I'm in the car with Y/N Y/L/N!" James said snapping me out of my thoughts. The girls screamed and I looked up at the window. "Hi!" I greeted putting my phone down. She squealed and made the payment. James moved forward for collection, "At least the other one could've squealed a little cause James Corden was also in the car" he added making me laugh.
We took our orders and dove straight into the fries, "I must say, UK fries are much better!" I exclaimed as my stomach got some relief. "Yes, definitely. UK fries are ten times tastier! So, I - what is the moment in your life when you thought you made it? Like I've done it?" he asked and I didn't have to think for even a second.
"When I won the Oscar last year" I said happily sipping my diet coke. "Oh, we need to take a right turn here, I've got, we've got to meet someone" I said as he acted to look at me bewildered. "Alright, but I'm late to work, so - so we gotta make it quick" he said as he took a right turn. "First you find me a boyfriend, then we're going to think about you reaching work" I joked as I saw Tom in his casual attire waiting for us with his hands in his pocket.
"So, you're - you're saying, you're on the lookout for a boyfriend?" he asked as we stopped in front of Tom. "Somebody need help getting to work, I heard" he said peeking his head through the window, James smiled nodding a yes, Tom grinned back and pecking my cheek. "Get in, get in, man!" James said and Tom sat in the back seat.
"Hi, how are you? How are you doing mate?" he asked and they shook hands. "So, what were you conversing about before I came along?"
"Well, Y/N, here is on a lookout for a boyfriend" James said as I took a bite of the burger. "I mean, I'm not sure, but maybe, yeah, you know someone hot, James?" I asked looking at him and ignoring Tom. "Yeah, I might know a guy or two"
"Yeah, Jade's brothers are great as well"
Yeah, right.
"I just wanna have fun. Nothing too serious" I added and we hit the road once again. "Now you two are very close friends, right?" James asked looking at Tom from the rear view mirror. "Very close, best actually"
"Tom and I are going to celebrate our 25th year of friendship in October, like we've known each other for 26 years, but like we were kids, so we didn't know, but yeah, when we were like a year old, we were always together, playing, fighting, pooping, yeah. It's still young but you know.."
"Haha, wow, that's huge, 25 years, so, you're telling me for knowing each other for twenty five years, you've never dated each other? Never?"
"No, never" I said quickly. "Really? Not even like a 3 AM drunken night or 2 AM long conversations on the beach or anything?"
"No, nuh-uh" Tom replied as I offered him a bag from McDonald's. "Alright, if you say so" James taunted as I rolled my eyes, "No, man, we didn't and I'm actually very much love with my pretty girlfriend, Jade"
Yeah, we get it, you love her. Move on!
We talked for another ten minutes before I turned the volume up, "I got the eye of the tiger, a fighter... Dancing through the fire... 'Cause I am a champion, and you're gonna hear me roar. Louder, louder than a lion... 'Cause I am a champion, and you're gonna hear me roar" I sang as Tom and James moved to the song.
"So, now you guys have some intense fans, now - now what has someone - what was the weirdest thing someone did?"
"Well, there was a man here in America, a man changed his name legally to Lucius Malfoy, showed me the documentation and then sent me documents to disown my own parents and move to be with him in the States in his house, which he had named Malfoy Manor. That was quite scary, I - I kindly declined his offer" Tom said as I laughed seeing James expression.
"Alright, so it was fun getting to work with the both of you, I enjoyed every minute of it and I can't thank you guys enough"

"So, now, the Harry Potter movies came to an end, but Y/N coming to the show will never end. Please allow me in welcoming Y/N Y/L/N!" Ellen announced and I walked to the stage. I waved at the audience as they cheered for me standing up. I hugged Ellen and took my seat. "Wow, it's good to be back, like always"
"It's good to have you back, you were here in 2012, it's been over a year, how don't we do this more often?"
"I know, I'm just - I've been busy, so, you know... finally found the time"
"So, we have to talk about this" she pulled up the British Vogue magazine, whose cover page I was on. The crowd started screaming at the pictures making me smile. That was the first photoshoot I did ever - nude. Not totally, I saved the goods with my hands, so, you know, I wasn't embarrassed, why should I be? I have a great bod!
Picture by picture flashed by, "Well, you look fantastic" Ellen said opening the magazine where the article was there. "You're not - not ashamed of holding your breasts like this" Ellen gestured how I was sitting in the picture. "No, why - why would I be ashamed? I'm not ashamed of it, no one should be" I said making the crowd applaud for me.
"Alright, do it now!" she joked making the crowd laugh. "Well, erm, then I'm going to have to ask you to bring the hot photographer back that clicked these pictures" I joked back winking at the audience. We all shared a laugh and Ellen turned back to me. "So, are we going to ignore the fact that you finally won the Oscar?" she asked as the crowd gave me a standing ovation.
"Thank you, thank you" I said joining my hands in gratefulness. "So, where do you keep it?" she asked and I thought for a second, "I think it's here in America"
"Wait - wait, what do you mean, you think? You don't have it at your place?"
"No, I don't. Erm, you know that my Dad attended the Oscars and so did Tom, they're both my huge fans-" the crowd applauded and I took a pause, "So, erm, one day, I found them quarrelling on the award. So, I asked what was up with it?"
"They, erm, they looked at me and my Dad goes like, he's buttering me up with calling me sweet names, "Pumpkin, you know how much I've always wanted you to win an Oscar" and then Tom's like, "Shorty, darling, you know I've always been your biggest fan and I kinda pushed you towards it" and then I looked at them and thought 'What about me?'"
"I, erm, I paused for a second and said, "Alright, you make excellent points but what about me? Don't I get to keep it with me?" They went silent, looked at me, thought for a moment and went back to quarrelling over the award like I wasn't there. I gave up and sat on the couch watching TV"
"It was after days I found out that they had an agreement, that the both of them will keep the award with them for sometime, like half a year, it's going to be with Tom and then another half with Dad, so, I'm not sure, I lost count, so I think it is here" I said making everyone laugh.
"So, how did they decide who's going to keep it for the first half?"
"Don't - don't get me started on that one" I said in defeat. "Alright, so, now we're going to play a game, it works like Tinder, now in the James interview, you said you were looking for a boyfriend, so I made up a game for you. In this one, it's just like Tinder, if you would be into them, then right and if not then left, but you're playing it, not your character and I'm giving you a tons of options - both girls and boys from the movie. So, let's see who's the first - Oh, Hermione Granger"
"Right, swipe right"
"Sirius Black"
"Right, definitely right"
"Dolores Umbridge"
"Left, oh God, left"
"Fleur Delacour"
"Right, who wouldn't, I mean?"

"No, left, nuh - uh"

"Erm, right, maybe, I'm not sure"

"Right, yes, right"

"She was pretty mean, so left. But if I had Scarlet then right"

"Oh, I mean, I'm gonna have to close the app, act like I was thinking and like then go back and swipe right, cause no shame"
"Alright, so-"
"No, wait. What was like the conclusion of the game? Like I didn't get a boyfriend or a girlfriend, not to mention they were fictional" I said rolling my eyes at Ellen. "We'll find you a pretty one, so, now do you know that fans have been writing fictional stories about Olivia and Ginny"
"Olivia and Ginny, like how - how would that go? I mean, aren't we sisters?"
"Yeah, erm, it's in like alternate universes, where you're not family and stuff"
"Oh, are they any good?"
"Well" she said stretching the word, "I mean, it's not what you think it will be but erm" she pointed at the screen and a photo flashed of me and Bonnie in a position, we shouldn't be. "Wait, wait, how did these pictures get leaked?" I joked making everyone laugh.
"No, erm, if my fans did it, I'm sure they might be fun. I might check it out later" I said agreeing with her. "So, the movie, in the movie you did a piano number, can - can we hear the one that goes continuously like la-la-la..." she tried to sing the tune making me nod. "It's like the hardest part of 'Carol of the Bells', isn't it?"
"Yeah, it took me about eight tries to get it correct"
"So, can you play for us?"
"Yeah, I can try to do that" I said standing up. "Here's a piano for you" she said and we walked over to the piano. I sat on the single rectangular chair set up for me and placed my fingers on it. The crowd uploaded as I finished the song. "Amazing, bravo, it was mesmerizing to listen" Ellen praised, "Ladies and gentlemen, Y/N Y/L/N!" she said making the crowd applaud for me as I stood up.
Okay, I gotta say, I wasn't going to, but I know my readers would agree with me - TOM IS NOT TRANSPHOBIC AND HERE'S PROOF.
Honestly, I haven't met him, but with the videos, the way he takes care of his mom, his dog and his fans, he can be the kindest soul on the Earth with no intention to hurt anyone. So, I don't think he's a transphobic, almost in every live he says at the end 'Peace and Love', plus he's answered a few questions about the LGBTQ community, there's pictures of him with his fans holding the flag, I think a lot of people might disagree but I don't know, I don't think he is and I don't appreciate hate on him or me on my story as well...
I don't know why this is happening to such a kind soul?
