I'm so bored.
It's been forever since Adriel went and he's not back yet. I was still sitting on the chair waiting for him to come back and he told me not to get up but I need to pee.
I'm going.
I got up from the chair slowly and walked to the door and I opened it to see so many people walking in the corridors. I was going to get lost.
I got out of the room and closed the door behind me, looked left and right to see if my brother was anywhere in sight but no.
I sighed and walked around for a couple of seconds then a lady saw me "Hey angel are you lost?" she asked walking up to me, I nodded "I lost my brother, he left me" I said frowning "Oh dear, who's your brother?"
"Adriel," I whispered "Oh, um, come with me I need to speak to someone and see if he can help," she said gently grabbing my hand and walking to a desk and placing me on her lap carefully and picking up the phone
"Hello?, yes there's a little girl up here she's telling me she lost her brother and she said his name is Adriel... do you think maybe he's downstairs looking for her?... oh, one second," she said lowering the phone "Angel what's your name?" she asked me
"Luella," I said, she nodded and picked the phone back up "Yeah, her name's Luella... alright I'm upstairs on boss's floor," she said and placed the phone down
"Why didn't you tell me Xander was your brother too?" she asked smiling
"Don't know" I mumbled playing with my fingers
"He's coming upstairs he'll take you to his room okay?" I nodded and waited for my brother to come
"Luella?" I heard, I looked up and Xander walking towards us. I jumped off the lady's lap and ran to my brother and he quickly picked me up "Xander, I'm so sorry, I had to go toilet and then I got lost, Adriel left me in the room alone, I'm sorry" I started crying
"Hey, why are you crying?" he said rubbing my back "I ran away" I sobbed "Shh, stop crying it's okay" he whispered
"Thank you millie" I heard Xander say, to I think that lady. He started walking to his office with me still in his arms.
"Alright, do you need the toilet?" he said placing me down, I nodded, he grabbed my hand and walked to a door that was in his office "Here, do your toilet and call me if you need help, okay?" he said
I nodded and went in to do my toilet
"Xander! I'm done!" Ella shouted from the toilet, I walked and opened the door to see her washing her hands "Alright, come let me dry your hands" I said holding up a towel, she came and opened her hands for me to dry "There we go" I said kissing both her hands
I closed the toilet door and walked back to my desk with Ella behind me "Here come to sit" I said patting my lap, she came and sat and hugged me tightly with her arms around my neck "I'm sorry again" she whispered
"Princess, it's okay," I said hugging her back my phone screen lit up and saw Adriel calling me, I picked up
"Yea?"
"Where the fuck is Ella! I left her in my office and she's not here!" he shouted
"Can you stop shouting, she's with me, millie found her wandering around"
"Fucking hell, I'm coming" he muttered and shut the phone
"Is he angry?" Ella whispered with tears in her eyes, I sighed "Just a little mad but he's not mad at you, he's mad at himself" I assured her, she just nodded slightly
"Oh my god, Ella you scared me," Adriel said barging into my office and grabbing Ella out of my hold and hugging her
"I'm sorry" she whispered again "Hey, love it's okay, I just got scared," he said kissing her head and placing her back down on my lap "I've got a meeting in 5, stay here with her," Adriel said looking at me and quickly rushing out of the room
"Xavier!" I turned and saw Rose running up to me, I opened my arms and pulled her into a tight hug "I missed you babe" I said kissing her lips
"Fuck it's been so long," she whispered smiling
Rose and I had been dating for the past 2 years. she was the new girl in school. would you consider 10 months new?
We started making our way to the beach since we and a couple of close friends made plans for today to come to the beach.
"Who did you come with?" I asked Rose while holding her hand "Nora, but she said tonight she and Luca were going to go out or something like that, so maybe you could drop me off home?" she said
"Yea, don't worry I will," I said rubbing my thumb over her knuckles "How's Aidan doing?" I asked her
Aidan was Rose's 7-year-old brother who was currently in the hospital sick. He had the flu a couple of weeks back but then it got worse after a couple of days and one morning their mum woke up to Aidan barely breathing. They had taken him to the hospital but nothing was found.
"I saw him yesterday, he's doing better than before for sure. I think he has a couple more tests to do to see exactly what's wrong" she said smiling slightly "hey, look at me" I said stopping in my tracks and lifting her chin "Pray that there's nothing wrong, he's strong," I said pecking her lips
"If you want before I drop you off home we can stop and see him for a bit," I said smiling, nodded at me. I could see the happiness in her eyes, she would always get happy whenever she went and saw Aidan
"Xander!" Ella shouted suddenly as I was sending a couple of emails, I looked at her "yea princess?"
She walked up to me and looked at me, I was confused "basically" she dragged
"Basically" I mocked her, she crossed her brows
"Stop" she whined "stop" I mocked again
"Xander I'm serious," she said crossing her arms like some drama queen
"Okay, okay, what's wrong now?" I asked her chuckling "there are cupcakes in Adriel's room, and I forgot them there," she said frowning slightly
I sighed "come one, let's go get them and then we can go home," I said as I sent the email I was writing and shut my laptop then held Luella's hand and walked to Adriel's office
"do you think Xavier is home now?" she asked looking up at me
"Princess I'm not too sure" I replied honestly to her since I didn't want to get her hope up if I had told her he was home but he wasn't
I opened the office door and walked in while Luella quickly ran to the desk and grabbed the cupcakes "Look this one is for you" she said pointing at a vanilla cupcake "And this is for Xavi, we cannot forget him" while pointing at a chocolate one
"Alright, meetings are done. Luella get your cardigan on" Adriel said walking in and grabbing his phone and bag
"Xander hold these, do not drop them 'kay?" she said holding out the box to me, I nodded at her. I knew if something ever happened to these cupcakes she would probably throw some sort of tantrum
"Xavier! No, put me down!" Rose screamed pounding her fists on my back, she was currently over my shoulder and I was about to her in the water "Rose, babe you hitting me is not going to stop me from my plan," I said smacking her ass and smirking
"Do not touch my ass you bitch! I hate you!," she said screaming as I threw her "You're such a fucking pig, I swear," she said gasping, coming out of the water moving her hair out of her face
I walked into the water and pulled her legs up to my waist and kissed her passionately "Xavier stop making out in the sea man!" Jordan, one of our closest friends screamed
"Shut the fuck up!" I yelled back and kissed Rose again. "Rose!" Nora shouted from the seats, Rose looked "Yeah!?" Nora waved Rose's phone in the air "Your mum messaged you!"
Rose looked at me and walked out of the water, I followed her as she got her phone from Nora "What happened?" I asked her "Nothing, they've done Aidan's blood tests and they're getting the results tonight, mum wants me there" she said messaging her mum back
"Don't worry, like I said I'll take you to the hospital," I said putting my hand around her waist and pulling her to my side, giving her a long kiss on the head "I love you" I muttered, she smiled at me "I love you too"
"Stop flirting next to me!" Jordan screamed again "Jordan shut up! just because you can't get a girlfriend!" Nora shouted laughing, which made us all burst into laughter
