Tae- " Umm.... actually I wanted to have a talk with you."
She didn't said anything but slowly turned around with her bent spine and walked in...I guess it was my cue to follow her...so I did.
I put my hands in my pocket, and looked around the house....it was like a typical hanok.
I was just standing there looking around and that Mrs.Dong went further in....but I decided to wait for her here.
Tae's mind - " What's the use of being the CEO when these kind of petty jobs are also done by you.......my employees are really good for nothing."
Just then Mrs.Dong came back with chopsticks in her hand.
Tae's mind - " Is she going to offer me some food before talking?"
Tae - " No,no Mrs Dong......I don't want you to do any formality...I would just like to know your conditi-....ahhhhh!"
I wasn't able to complete my sentence because this old lady started hitting me with those chopsticks.
Mrs.Dong - " You rich brats.....you keep on coming again and again."
She said while beating me and pushing me out.
Tae - " Ah! ah!
.Mrs.Dong!!! Wait!!
Ahhhh!..listen to-"
I was trying to dodge her attacks but it seemed impossible.
Mrs.Dong - " How many times I need to tell you I am not going to sell my land."
Tae - " Oww!...owe!..Sorry.. wait.....ah!"
And with the final hit on my head with the chopstick she threw me out
Mrs.Dong - " Don't you dare come here again."
She said angrily and closed the door.
I stumbled but gained my balance.
Tae - " Owww!....How can she literally beat me up like that"
I said rubbing my paining forehead and arm.
Tae -" Crazy oldie!.....Ah!.....She beat me so badly"
I whined
Y/n's POV
I was sitting in the car, when I saw Tae coming back....there was a painful expression on his face.
I slightly giggled.
As soon as he acknowledged my presence,he went back to the cold face.
Y/n - " How was the conversation, President?"
I asked acting all oblivious.
He cleared his throat and sat in the car.
Tae - " Umm..A-actually Mrs.Dong is not very well...so she couldn't talk,so she told me to come some other day."
He said avoiding the eye contact.
Y/n - " Really?"
I said taking out my phone.
Tae - " Y-yeah..why would I lie?"
Y/n - " But looking at this video...it seems like Mrs. Dong is in the best of her health."
I said looking at the video I recorded of him getting beaten on my phone.
(If you wonder how she recorded, she moved a little further in and zoomed in to record what was going inside Mrs.Dong's house and when he was pushed out she quickly ran and sat back in the car.)
His head instantly turns towards me and then at the phone.
I showed the video to him while biting my lips to snub my laugh.
His eyes widened.
Tae - " You...you...you took a video."
He said trying to snatch the phone but I quickly pulled it away.
And started laughing.
Tae - " Yah!...give me the phone."
Y/n - " Haha haha.😂😂😂..!...she beat you with chopsticks.........this is what you wanted to show us...is it how the conversations are done?"
I said still laughing maniacly.
Tae's face turned red with embarrassment.
Tae - " yah!......Stop laughing...and delete the video."
He said leaning forward towards me to snatch the phone.
I quickly hid it behind my back.
Y/n - " No, I won't."😆
I said still getting over my laugh
Tae - " Y/n I said delete the video."
I instantly froze
Y/n's mind - " Did he just called me Y/n?....like really?"
I was so overwhelmed at the moment, I felt a sudden calmness and at the same time tightness in my heart.
He took advantage of my frozen state and snatched the phone from my hands with a wicked smile.
He quickly deleted the video and extend his hand to give me back my phone with a smirk.
This made be unfreeze.
Y/n - " Did you just called me Y/n?"
His smirk instantly faded,he looked at me for a second..his eyes were unreadable
Then,he slammed the phone on my hand and again pulled on a cold face and started the car.
Y/n - " Tell me.. did you?"
I asked desperately.
Tae - " So what if I did?....atleast it got the video deleted from your phone."
He said sassily.
I smiled at the fact that he admitted that he called me y/n.
Y/n - " Do call me y/n from now on..okay?"
I said titling my head towards him.
He knitted his brows.
Tae - " Aren't you bothered by the fact that you lost an embarrassing video of mine?"
I shook my head as no.
Y/n - " Loss of video wouldn't change the fact that you were actually beaten up by an old lady."
I said nonchalantly.
He again became embarrassed and gulped
Y/n - " Moreover I have already sent the video to my other phone..so it's still safe."
His eyes widened and he looked at me with a betrayed expression and then again looked back at the road helplessly.
Tae - " How cunning you are!"
I just gave a smug smile in return.
Tae - " Don't you dare show that video to anyone."
I shrugged my shoulder.
Y/n - " We'll see about that."
He was about to say something but instead sighed in defeat.
Y/n - " Btw..don't drop me home.....I am going at your place instead."
He gave me a slight glance.
Tae - " Why?"
Y/n - " Because Jisoo unnie called me for lunch."
I said smiling excitedly.
Tae - " Ah!So I must call Jennie as well.... she also wanted to meet noona."
He said tapping his car display to make a call.
Whereas my smile faded...I don't know why.
She is his fiancé....it's normal for a person to invite his fiancé on a lunch at home,then why I didn't liked it....why I felt my heart sanking.......why I felt hurt.
What is going on?
Have I started hating Jennie.
I know what she told me back then, was her true feelings..and anyone could feel those....but does it made a negative impression of her in my heart.
But I don't dislike her as a person then why I not like her when she is involved with Tae.....this is something new...I never felt like that before.
I was in my thoughts,and meanwhile Tae talked with Jennie and invited her to the lunch.
Y/n's mind - " Why suddenly I want to go back home?"
I said and pulled out my earphones.
Tae was about to comment on it but I cut him.
Y/n - " Don't forget, that I still have your video."
Tae - " I wasn't going to say anything."
He said denying the fact that he was about to again tell me not to use the earphones.
I chuckled silently.
Time skip
We reached Taehyung's house and same old helper opened the door.
We entered in and saw everyone,Abeoji, Jisoo unnie and Jennie sitting in the living room.
Y/n - " Hello everyone!"
I said with a big smile
And all the heads turned towards us.
Jennie quickly came and hugged Tae, and Tae hugged her back,then she smiled at me.
Jisso unnie also stood and hugged.
Jisoo - " I am glad you came y/n!"
She said patting my head.
Y/n - " Why won't I?"
I said while raising my eyebrow playfully.
Jennie - " What happened to your forehead Tae...it's looks a little red!"
She asked worriedly
Everyone looked at his forehead and I looked away to hide my mischievous smile.
He covered his forehead with his hand.
Tae - " I-Its nothing!Dont worry."
He said softly to her.
Jennie took his hand that he used to cover..
Jennie - " Even..your hand is a little red.....it looks as if someone beated you."
I accidentally let out a chuckle.
And everyone looked at me while Tae glared at me.
I awkwardly smiled
Y/n - " Y-you are funny Jennie."
I said explaining my chuckle.
Jennie - " No,not funny I am worried."
She said looking at his hand.
Jennie - " Come with me."
She said and dragged Tae towards his room.
My smile faded and again came back as a fake one.
Don't Know why I felt a sudden pang in my heart.... looking at Jennie caring for him.
Y/n's mind - " They both are so in love."
I thought but why it is hurting to think like that.
