As days passed....somehow Jennie became quite closer to our group especially to Tae.
And we use to always tease him with Jennie.
We were sitting in the class when the bell rang indicating that the class finished.
As usual Me,Rosé,Jimin and Tae gathered together near Rosé's desk.
Tae - " Guys, I want to tell you something."
He said smiling widely
Rosé - " What?"
Tae - " Umm..I-I..."
He was hesitating a little
Y/n - " Come on..say it."
Tae - " Actually you know right, that I like Jennie?"
We nodded our heads.
Tae - " So, I am going to ask her out today."
He said smiling shyly.
We widened our eyes.
Jimin - " Really?"
He nodded
Tae - " I hope you guys don't have any problem."
Y/n - " Why would we have any problem?"
I said patting his back.
He nodded but looked a little down.
Jimin wrapped his arms around his shoulder sensing it
Jimin - " Aye! Don't worry...we know she likes you too...she will say yes."
Rosé - " Yeah right!...don't you know how she looks at you."
He smiled slightly
Jimin - " Ok go now."
He said pushing him slightly towards Jennie's desk.
He went towards her desk talked something then they walked out of the class.
Time skip
It was lunch break right now and we couldn't get time to ask Tae, how his confession went...and even right now he is no where to be found.
So only me , Rosé and Jimin were sitting at the table.
We were eating while talking when suddenly we saw Tae and Jennie coming towards us while holding hands and smiling.
Jennie - " Hi guys!"
She said with a smile
Rosé,Y/n,Jimin - " Hi!"
We looked at Tae for explaination
Tae - " Umm...guys..we are dating now."
He said hesitantly and all of us smiled widely.
Y/n - " Congo!!!.So today Tae and Jennie will pay our meals."
I said excitedly
Rosé - " Yayyy!"
Jennie and Tae - " What!!"
Time skip
It's been quite a few while since Tae and Jennie and dating maybe around two-three weeks.
They are not too lovey-dovey but yeah sometimes they do act cringy.
Right now I am at Tae's home watching T.V with him.
Just then his phone tinged.
He looked towards the phone and smiled.
Then he got up
Y/n - " Where are you going?"
Tae - " Jennie texted me to meet,so I am going to meet her."
Y/n - " Oh okay!....So drop me also...I'll also go home."
Tae - " Yah! Go on your own.... I'll get late."
He said running towards his room to change.
I sighed
Y/n - " Ok, so I have to go back alone."
I got up
Y/n - " I am going....bye."
I shouted from the living room for him to hear.
Tae - " ok bye!"
He shouted back and I left his house
Flashback ends.
That's how the slight distance between our friendship was formed.
But this was very slight...more was yet to come.
Talking about today, I was happy that Tae has someone he loves and is even engaged to her...I am glad to know that he has someone to show his soft side to.
But somewhere deep down I was dissapointed and sad to know that they r together....but I was trying to shrug that feeling off.

I was arranging my stuff in the closet when my phone tinged.
I walked towards the bed to check the message.

Y/n's mind - " Why is he doing all this?"
Few days later
So, today my free days are over and I am again at Budongsan for a meeting, this meeting....this meeting didn't have much people, only me, Jin and two more people are present and are waiting for Tae to come.

Just then Tae entered the room and everyone stood up and bowed to him, he nodded his head
He looked very charismatic the way he entered the room like a king.
He opened the buttons of his Blazer and sat down.
Tae - " Start the meeting!"
His voice brought me back to reality and I realized I was staring at him for too long.
Y/n's mind - " What are you doing y/n?"
Jin - " Umm.... actually President...last time you asked me to go that land in order to talk to people especially that old lady."
He paused and Tae gave him a confused nod.
Jin - " Me, Mr.Choi and Ms.Ki went there...but the visit didn't turned out to be quite successful."
He said with a slight guilty face.
Y/n - " What exactly happened?"
Jin turned towards me.
Jin - " That old lady......as soon as she saw us....she started pushing us out...she didn't even let us enter her house-"
Mr.Choi - " Forget enter, she didn't even let us speak a word."
Ms.Ki - " We went there thrice but she is not even ready to listen anything...her decision is firm."
She said and bowed her head.
The room fell silent.
It made me go in my thoughts and Tae clenched his jaw.
Tae - " Are you guys kids?"
He said angrily and everyone's attention turned towards him.
Tae - " Rather than giving me results, you are here complaining like 3 year old children."
He said giving all three of them a deadly glare.
All of them bowed their heads.
Tae - " You guys can't even do a single thing correctly...what's so difficult about talking to an old lady?"
He sighed
Tae - " I don't expect anything from you now.....I'll go there myself."
Everyone looked at him amused.
I cleared my throat
Y/n - " President...I would like to accompany you...as a negotiator I think I can help with this."
He thought for a second and then nodded
Tae - " Fine!"
He stood up and then looked at all three of them.
Tae - " I'll show you how it's done...............meeting dismissed!"
He said and walked out.
Mr.Choi and Ms.Ki also walked out
I looked at Jin who was looking sad.
I patted his shoulder.
Y/n - " Don't be sad...I know you would have really put an effort....come on tell me what happened?"
He smiled bitterly.
Jin - " Y/n....that lady is crazy.....I wouldn't be surprised if we come to know she is a mental patient........as soon as she came to know we are here to talk about buying her land...she kicked us out while cursing us."
He was literally talking like a kid who is complaining to his mom about the bullies in his school.
I pursed my lips to control my laugh.
Jin - " Next day we went again....luckily she couldn't recognize us...because her eyesight is not very good....but as soon as we started talking about her land...she brought a broom stick out of nowhere and started beating us"
I covered my mouth trying not to laugh
Jin - " Only we know how we escaped from there....And when the third time we went...she even came out to open the door with a broom stick by her side.....so we couldn't talk anything and ran from there."
Ok, that was my limit I burst out laughing at the incident as well as his terrified face.
Jin - " Yah! Don't laugh."
He said sulking
But I continued laughing.
Jin - "You are going there right? Let me see what you could do?....let me see how you convince that crazy oldie."
He said with a smirk😏
Y/n - " Is that a challenge?🤨"
He nodded sternly
Y/n - " Ok then, challenge accepted!"
