Tom's POV
I couldn't move my feet from that place. I couldn't tear my eyes off of her taxi and slowly, my vision turned blurry. I flinched when a hand rested on my shoulder, Mrs. Perry. I turned around and gave her a small smile, even when I didn't want to. "You should come inside" she offered politely.
I wiped my tears, shook my head and said, "No, Mrs. P, I should head home- no I should head over at Y/N's loft, she's preg-"
"No, sweetheart, don't break her heart more than you already have. Trust me, you guys will be okay, just not today. Go home for now and ask Emma to go to her place" she replied as I nodded. I sniffled and went to my car. Pulling out my phone, I dialed Emma's number.
"Em, darling, please pick up" I murmured when she wasn't picking up, "Hel - Hello, Emma" I said as soon as she picked up. "Judging by your voice, you rejected her, didn't you?" she replied and I stayed silent. "I just have one question, why? What did she ever do to you, Tom?"
"Em, I - I don't know but right now, please, go to her loft, I don't want her to be alone, please and if you see her in any pain, please - please call me, we'll take her to the hospital" I pleaded resting my forehead on the steering wheel. "Fine" she replied and hung up.
I headed back to Timber and Derek. Jade was still out of town, I shook my jacket, shaking all the snow off of it and headed in. Timber jumped on me as soon as she saw me, "Hey, girl" I said dryly. "What happened?" Derek asked furrowing his eyebrows. "Nothing, I'm just tired" I said picking up a pack of cigarettes and heading to the balcony.
Lighting up one of it, I took it to my mouth, as my lungs filled with smoke, Derek called out again, "It's freezing out here, come back in" he said hugging himself. I looked at him, "I'm fine, thanks" I said as my phone dinged. It was a notification from Instagram.

I furrowed my eyebrows and quickly opened Instagram. Y/N's back was to the camera as she was playing the piano, meaning Emma was holding the phone and I'm pretty sure she was the one to force her to do this.

Each and every word felt like a stab. I locked my phone and headed to her room, she still had all of her belongings here in the guest bedroom. I sat on her bed and picked up the blue penguin, I squeezed it as tears didn't stop falling my eyes.
We can't help who we fall in love with...

It has been two days, no call, no text. It was her birthday. The house has been quieter the past two days, even Timber's been sad. The doorbell rang and Derek stood up to open it. "It's Emma!" he said from the door. I quickly jolted up as I heard her name, "I'm just here to pick up some clothes and her stuff from the guest bedroom" she said going up the stairs.
"Ho-How is she, Emma?" I asked as I trailed behind her. "You don't get to ask that, Felton" she said sternly. "How am I supposed to get her back? I-I know that I messed up, please tell me what to do? I need my best friend back in my life, please" I said as we reached her room. She started packing all the things she could take in one time, "I-" she was about to lecture me, I knew it from her look, but my phone rang.
I was going to ignore it, but luckily, I pulled it out of my pocket, "Julius?" I asked looking at Emma. "Pick it up!" she yelled as I stared at the screen too long. "Hel-Hello?" I said putting the phone on speaker.
"Drop whatever you're doing and go to Y/N, she's going into labor, I guess, she called me. We have just landed - London Luton but coming home, it will at least take us an hour plus the traffic, we'll meet you directly in the hospital. Be quick, Tom!" he said over the phone as both of our eyes went wide. She's in labor, but the baby isn't due for another 15 days. Emma and I dropped everything and ran to my car.
Within minutes, we reached her loft, I'm sure I crossed a few red lights. Emma opened the apartment and we saw Y/N on the couch, blood in between her thighs, she was breathing heavily. "S-Shorty" I said as I looked at her and Emma called for an ambulance. "It - it hurts, Tom" she spoke in a low voice. She was crying but trying to be so strong.
I picked her up in my arms, "Emma, there's no time, we're taking my car, we can't risk it" I said and hurried to the door. Placing her in the backseat, Emma sat beside her. "It'll be fine, Y/N, we'll be at the hospital in a few minutes" she said stroking her hair. I couldn't focus on driving, my eyes kept looking at Y/N, and how much pain she was in. I just hope that she doesn't lose the baby, cause I don't know what she'll do, if she lost the baby.
Y/N was immediately taken to the emergency room, as Calvin arrived, "Is sh-she going to be okay? And the baby?" Emma asked standing up. "I'll have to see her case. Tom, in here till her family arrives" he said opening the door for me. I looked at Emma and she nodded.
I hurried to the room and she looked at me. "Y/N, darling" I said taking her hand, she started crying as the pain hit her, "It hurts so much" she cried tightening the grip around my hand. "Do something!" I shouted at Calvin who was preparing her for the birth. "Everything will be okay, Shorty. She'll be out in no time" I assured as nurses surrounded the bed and Calvin sat in between her thighs.
"Come on, Y/N, you have to start pushing" he directed as Y/N shook her head. "W-What? Why darling?" I asked stroking her face. "Julius and Nick aren't here, they - they'll miss the birth" she said breathing heavily.
Is she kidding me?
"No, no, Y/N, you have to start pushing" I said with a soft voice, enough to calm her down. "No n-no, please, they're my birthing coaches, they-" she cut herself off with a big yell. "No, we know, Y/N, but Tom's here, you have to push, come on, love" Calvin said rubbing her knees. She started pushing at once, I can only imagine what pain she might be in.
It had been an hour, she gave up in mid-labor, "I - I can't do it, it-s painful - too painful, please, stop, Tom, I can't do it" she cried looking at me. "I - I know, darling, but think, the pain that you are in, the baby is in more pain, you have to keep pushing. Nick and Julius will miss the birth, but they will need you two, their girls, safe and sound, yeah?" I asked wiping the sweat off of her forehead with a towel.
She nodded absentmindedly, "Can you do that, darling?" I asked whispering, "Y-Yeah" she agreed. I smiled and pecked her lips, in the heat of the moment, which she didn't realize that I did, even I didn't until after I did it. She started pushing again and at the exact time, the door burst open, Nick and Julius were here, they took a place beside her on the other side, while I didn't leave.
"Here she comes!" Calvin said and the room filled with the cries of a baby. Y/N let out a small relieved smile and looked at me, "You did it, Shorty" I said pecking her forehead. She smiled again and held out her hands so that Calvin could place the baby in her hands, but he gave Alexi directly to Julius.
Her smile faded but her hands stayed at the same place, everyone got busy in the baby, while she longed for her, I took her hands in mine and she looked at me. I brought her hands to my lips, kissing them, I said, "Everything will be alright, don't worry" I cooed as I hugged her. She let out an audible sob but one that only I could listen.
Her hands dropped, so I just assumed she didn't want to hug me because of our fight, so I pulled away, but when I did, her condition looked lifeless. "Dr. Calvin!" I yelled out immediately. He looked at me and followed my gaze, "Y-Y/N!" I said slightly slapping her cheeks. "She'll be fine" Calvin said holding her wrist and looking at the monitors beside us. "She's just unconscious, needs rest, that's all" he assured and I sighed.
I went out to see Emma, Y/N's parents, Robert and the others waiting, "She's fine - they're both fine" I said wiping my own forehead with my sleeves, "She needs rest. Emma, please tell me she ate last two days" I said sitting on the chair. "No - I mean, she did, but not that much" she replied and the new parents came out of the room.
Everyone quickly hurried to them, but I stayed in my place. They started taking her in their arms, playing and everything like that, I got up and entered the ward. I saw that Y/N was cleaned up with a new pair of clothes, fresh sheets and she was sleeping. I sat beside her and held her hand. Her breathing was now steady, she no longer had blood in between her thighs.
She shifted just a little when I was about to drop her hand, I looked at our hands, she tightened the grip, "Please don't go" she said as tears started streaming down her face. "I'm -I'm right here, Shorty" I said and took my seat again. We talked for a while about how much she wanted to hold Alexi in her arms, how she's hurting and all I could do was comfort her while crying as well.
"Hey, sis" Julius said and we looked at the door. She smiled as she saw little Alexi in his arms, cooing. He placed her in Y/N's arms and she looked at me. I nodded letting out a chuckle, "Hi, Alexi" she said softly as the baby girl opened her eyes, just like Y/N's. "Hi" she said again. She looked up at Julius. "Can I have a moment alone with her?" she asked making us nod.
"No, you can stay, Tom" she said and I sat back on the chair. "Hi, baby, how does it feel coming out in the world?" she asked with tears in her eyes, "You know she hasn't learned to speak yet" I joked earning a hit from her. "She's beautiful" I said looking at the baby. "I know, what do you expect? She has my beauty genes" Y/N replied cockily.
She must be on pain killers.
"So, here you are, Alexi, it felt like just yesterday, your Daddies and I were trying to turn you into an embryo" she went silent for a moment, "Your Nana was right, she said labor would hurt and it did but she also said that giving you up will be harder and it would hurt more" she said and I put an arm around her. "I warn you, I will be your favorite aunt, I know Nick has three sisters and their far more prettier, but can you believe it? Your aunt is a powerful witch!" she said lightening up the mood a little.
"I wish I could take you home and see you everyday, I wish you stayed here, but that isn't possible, cause you'll go to America in a few days, and I promise we're going to make the most of it, well, you're going to be attached to my boobs, but we'll have a lot of fun" she said and looked at me. I nodded as I pecked her forehead. "Oh and we share the same birthday, how fun is that?" she said excitedly to Alexi.
"I completely forgot, darling. Happy Birthday!" I said pecking her cheek again.
She pulled the baby closer and started humming the tune to 'When she loved me'. Within a few moments, Julius came in with a camera in his hand. "Tom, would you take our picture?" he asked and I took the camera from his hand. I took a couple of pictures, "Alright, alright, now baby Alexi will be her uncle's arms, come here girl" I said happily taking her from Y/N's arms.
Y/N clicked the picture and stared at it. "I'll need a copy of this" she said quietly to Julius. I handed Alexi back to Julius and sat next to Y/N. "Does it actually hurt that much?" I asked softly. "Yeah, it hurts like shit. Plus I had to get stitches" she said rolling her eyes.
It was like we never fought but she's on pain killers, I just hope we can go back to normal...
