(Josh's POV)
I know that it is probably not the best time for me to be cuddling up to another girl, but right now I couldn't care, it's the first time I've been able to express my emotions and I know that Mad's isn't gonna judge me, or at least I hope not!
Everything happened so quickly with Morgan, and how the fact its literally been less than a month, a fucking month, less than 30 days and she's already gotten with a new boy, and of course she had to get with another football and a football player that I thought was a close friend.
Daniel knew that her and I were dating, I mean for fucks sake him and Bont are close and he wouldn't do that to Bont, but why would he do it to me!
(Mad's POV)
I don't really know what to do, I mean I know that Josh is comfortable and I get this feeling that he hasn't been able to show his emotions for the past couple of weeks so I just deicide to stay still and continue to rub his back
I can tell that he hasn't gotten any sleep, his eyes bags were so dark and Lara told me that his teammates had some concerns for him.
Even though I didn't know Josh for that long when he was with Morgan, but given this is his reaction to the breakup, I could tell that he was in love.
It's been 20 minutes and we are still in the same position, but I think Josh has fallen asleep.
I hear the door open and its Lara
"Hey" I say quietly trying my best to not wake Josh up
"Hiya, is he actually asleep" Lara asks and I nod "Oh lovely, Do you mind if I go to my room, he should really sleep for as long as he can"
"Yeah no worries" I reply back as she leaves
I don't remember much after that, I reckon it took me 10 minutes after Lara left and I was out. Sleeping with a males arms wrapped around me was a sensation I had never had before, but a sensation I could get use to!
I'm awoken at the sound of the front door opening and to my surprise its the missing Dunkley, Kyle.
"Hey?" he said
"Hi" I reply removing myself from Josh's embrace and standing up
"How long has he been asleep for?" Kyle asking me and I look at the clock and I'm shocked to see that it is already 9am! Liv must be wondering where I am
"Jeez it already 9am, uh since about 8pm I reckon" I say
"Wait so you are saying he's been alseep for 13 hours" he asked
"Yeah?" I say with confusion
"Well you might need to come over move often" he said jokingly
"Has he not been getting any sleep" I ask
"Nope, I can hear him at night moving all night" he said and my heart breaks even more
"Well, I'm glad he finally got some sleep, I dont mean to say this but I really need to go" I say
"Yeah no worries, see you soon" Kyle said
"Yeah see ya Kyza" I say as I walk out the door and quickly drive home. Before I get out of the drive way I check my phone because I hear my phone ding but I didn't want to check it while I was on the road
Its a message from Lara and it reads "Thank you for coming over and watching Josh, I couldn't tell you the last time I heard him get some sleep, plus I got this super cute photo when I woke up to come and grab a drink! (PS, I think you guys are the cutest)"
Well I definitely wasn't expecting that, but it did make my heart flutter a bit!
"No worries, if you ever think Josh needs my help, please doesn't be afraid to ask, I care about him and he doesn't deserve to experience what he has" I reply back and I start walking into the my apartment.
"Where the hell have you been" Liv asks but not in a mean way
"Uh" is all I can think to say
"OH" immediately Liv knows what I'm talking about
"Yeah" I say back
"Well sit I need to know everything" she says and I tell her everything as she asked.
"Well you certainly enjoyed yourself" Liv said
"Yeah, it was such a good feeling knowing that Josh got some sleep, oh and look at this photo" I said and I show her the photo
"Damn, of course your bodies fit perfect together, its because you two are made for each other" she says
"Yeah, but I dont want to pressure him right now, he's vulnerable, and doesn't need a girl trying to get into his pants right now" I reply back
"Yeah I know and that very mature of you, but who's to say that it can't happen in the future" Liv said
"Maybe" I say back to her
(Josh's POV)
"UGH, did I fall asleep" I say waking up
"Yes you did sir" Lara said
"How, I havent been able to fall asleep for weeks" I reply back
"Well a certain someone helped you" Kyle said
"Oh yeah, where is Mad's" I ask
"She left about 30 minutes ago, she was worried about Liv" Kyle said
"I need to thank her" I respond
"Don't worry I already have and I gave her a little surprise" Lara said
"What do you mean by surprise" I ask her
"This" Lara says as she shows me her phone
A photo of Mads and I was the last thing that I would see on her phone, but I didn't hate it. I do really like Mad's but right now I don't think getting a girlfriend is the best decison for me. I think I just need time to myself.
"Mad's looked very happy leaving, are you sure you two didn't do anything else" Kyle said
"OH please Kyle, get your head out of the gutter, he was just broken up with" Lara did in my defence
"Damn, sorry just trying lighten the mood" Kyle said in his defence
"Your fine" I replied back
"So, what did you two do" Lara asked
"We watched a bit of Agent of Shield and then she asked me how I was going and I just broke down and thats the last thing I remember" I said
"Well, I think you two are perfect" Lara said
" I know you think that Lar, but I need to focus on myself right now" I explain to her even though those thoughts are in my head too
"yeah yeah, just don't let her slip through your hands" Lara said
Lara doesn't have a good point, every man alive would kill for a girl like Mad's, well, now I dont know, I mean I could try to get to know her even more and see if I want the relationship to go further
"True, maybe I should ask her out for brunch" I ask
"That sound like a good idea" Lara said
